Very nice hotel with good location next to the best mall in Yogyakarta. The hotel retains the grandeur of old era with large and cozy lobby areas with plenty of sofas for relaxing or to meet guests. The hotel has the larger than average room sizes. However, the rooms need to have better lightings overall but especially in the bathrooms. The hotel has shown signs of need for another round of renovation. Start with the lightings then the beddings as well as improving the sound barriers. During the last night of our stay, the hotel hosted a party in the backyard. The sounds of music was so loud, it was hard for me to sleep. Sending a note to the hotel guests about having a party in the evening does NOT mean that they can just host a party with such loud music in the backyard. Alternatively, the hotel can invest in serious sound proofing if they plan to have parties in the backyard or pool.

Definitely, stay in Marriott Yogyakarta. ✅️ Outstanding Service ✅️ Easy-to-access Location ✅️ Next to Mall (Pakuwon) ✅️ Big Rooms My family & I usually stay in T*ntr*m (been our no 1. option in Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Tangerang for a while), but considering NY traffic, decided hotel next to mall as safer option, and I think Marriott Yogya will be our no 1. option in Yogyakarta now. PRE-STAY Staying experience actually starts the second we finished the hotel reservation, maybe its long before we even arrive at the hotel. Most dont really optimize this. What I will highlight is Marriott really put my requests (birthday decor in specific room, connecting rooms) into the system, where everyone can check. From the one handling the WhatsApp to the receptionist the day we arrive, Ilham. And they execute my request really well. I've experienced some that forget my request and ended up decorating the wrong room, or not facilitating the request, even though they said they will facilitate. *see pic 8 - 11. It doesnt have to be expensive, businesses have to calculate the cost and margin. Whats important, for me, is put some effort into it. Its part of making the stay memorable. STAY I love it when : - the moment we arrive, the staff helps us by opening the car door, w/ the smile and greeting. Not from just one person, but every staff did the smile and greeting. - Ilham texted that the other room is ready. Most just rely on guest will be the one to follow up, but not Marriott. - we asked the way to mall entrance, the staff took us to the entrance, not just directing w/ hands. - they put anti-slip mat in shower area (pic 6), such a functional addition for safety. Because aesthetic needs to meet w/ function. - we went out at 8.30 in the morning for culinary & coffee around Yogyakarta and put the cleaning sign on, but forget to call, just to communicate that we want the room cleaned while we're out. 2,5 hours later when we're back, those 2 rooms are neat & tidy. Some hotels dont notice the difference those make for guest(s). These, for me, really help building the memorable staying exp. What more could I ask, Marriott Yogya 🫰🏻❤️ thank you

Incredible stay! We booked a night here after a disaster at a neighbouring hotel and our stay was one of the best in Indonesia. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with astonishing hospitality from all the staff members but especially Reza who went above and beyond to ensure that we were welcome and comfortable in the hotel. The facilities are top quality, the room was very clean and extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. The gardens and hotel grounds are extremely well maintained, beautiful, and have lots of space for relaxation or, if you have kids, spaces to keep kids entertained. The hotel has ample options for food/drink and also entertainment and also offers tours of the local area. It was also my girlfriend's birthday and the staff again put in genuine effort to make it a really special day for her, we are extremely grateful for their efforts - 5 star service. I can strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an escape from the city and to be near mount merapi or who wants a bit of relaxation.

Je ne voulais pas quitter l'hôtel ! Tout est super : l'ambiance, les équipements, la piscine, la vue, l'immense chambre ! Nous avons pensé à tout ! De délicieuses pâtisseries pour le petit déjeuner. En guise de recommandation, nous avons besoin d'une description des ingrédients des plats locaux. Ce qui se trouve devant vous n'est pas clair. Il en va de même pour les jus locaux. Un respect particulier pour le kombucha ! Nous avons bu avec plaisir ! Le personnel est serviable et très sympathique. Je reviendrais ici)

Great hotel, good view from the room at the city. But even better (actually amazing) 360° view from the rooftop, including of course towards Merapi. The room is good, there is a nice pool on the rooftop, as well as a good bar. No pool towels, though. The gym is very small and has a funny triangular shape, was a bit overcrowded with only 6 people at the same time. Only downside was the breakfast, fresh omelette was good, but some of the sweet bakery goods among the most tasteless things I've ever had. That said, still a great hotel with a nice art focused lobby and friendly staff. Would recommend.

La chambre était correcte, mais pas vraiment satisfaisante, car l'achat sur trip.com via le site tiers tiket.com n'a pas été retenu pour la chambre non-fumeur que nous avions choisie. Nous avons donc obtenu une chambre fumeur et toutes les chambres fumeurs étaient au même niveau. L'hôtel a fait un geste positif après que nous ayons appelé M. Bagus pour résoudre ce problème : l'hôtel était complet pour assurer le confort de notre chambre, le service d'entretien a changé nos draps et tout le linge de lit a été parfumé pour faire disparaître l'odeur de fumée. J'étais désespérée, car le tiers était une agence de voyages locale tiket.com, qui n'était pas fiable comme Traveloka, c'est pareil. Trip.com s'excuse déjà pour l'erreur et nous offre sa reconnaissance. Je ne prendrai donc aucune autre mesure ni plainte, car la direction de l'hôtel a déjà fait de son mieux pour résoudre notre problème. Merci. J'espère que cela ne se reproduira plus. Ils doivent vérifier et s'assurer que leur accord avec le tiers est bien respecté et qu'aucune erreur ne se reproduira.

L'hôtel n'est pas mal. Son emplacement est pratique, mais la propreté laisse à désirer. Les toilettes, la salle de bain et le balcon n'étaient pas propres, même après le passage du service d'étage. Le mobilier est un peu vieillot. La chambre sentait le renfermé. Le bagagiste à la réception n'était pas très serviable. Voyant mes difficultés avec mes bagages sous la pluie, il n'a même pas proposé son aide, malgré la présence d'un parapluie. Il ne nous a même pas aidés à ouvrir la porte. Mon compagnon et moi avons peiné à monter nos bagages en pente, trempés par la pluie. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi, mais pendant les quatre jours et trois nuits de mon séjour, personne n'a proposé son aide. Pour un hôtel du top 10 de Yogyakarta, le service des bagagistes est décevant. En revanche, la réception et le concierge étaient très aimables.

My stay at Loman Park Hotel was adequate, but the property appears to be showing its age and would benefit from significant maintenance and refurbishment. While the staff were generally pleasant and the location was convenient, many of the facilities and amenities felt run down and poorly maintained. The overall condition of the hotel gave the impression that routine upkeep has not been a priority for some time. In particular, the room furnishings showed noticeable wear and tear. The towels provided were frayed and worn out, and several cushions in the room and common areas appeared aged, flattened, and overdue for replacement. These details detracted from the comfort and quality one would expect from a hotel of this standard. A more concerning issue was the hygiene of the bottled drinking water containers provided in the room. Upon inspection, black mould-like growth was visible on the silicone stoppers of the glass bottles. This raised serious concerns about cleaning procedures and attention to sanitation standards. Given that these containers are intended for drinking water, this was particularly disappointing and undermined confidence in the hotel's overall hygiene practices. Overall, Loman Park Hotel offers a functional stay, but the deteriorating condition of the facilities, lack of maintenance, and hygiene concerns mean that there is considerable room for improvement. With greater attention to refurbishment, cleanliness, and replacement of worn amenities, the guest experience could be significantly enhanced.

Un ancien hôtel cinq étoiles, situé dans la ville en direction de Prambanan. L'attitude de service de l'hôtel est très bonne. La réception parle très bien anglais. Parce que nous devons partir très tôt, l'hôtel a préparé un panier de petit-déjeuner très copieux. avance. Vous pouvez choisir parmi tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Les chambres de l'hôtel et les restaurants peuvent surplomber de loin tout le Merapi et la piscine extérieure est très belle. Le dîner de l'hôtel est également bon, les portions sont grandes et le goût est très bon. Il est fortement recommandé de choisir cet hôtel lors de la location d'une voiture. Il propose des services hôteliers standard cinq étoiles. Le week-end, les habitants ont organisé un mariage dans le jardin de l'hôtel et ont vu des invités déguisés.
