Avis : Harbin Sun Castle Resort

L’hôtel était sympa. Mais assez cliché, pour mes yeux français. Un château en carton-pâte avec un pêlemêle de tableaux de styles sans rapports. Ça sent le faux. La chambre n’est pas luxueuse, elle manque de meubles, et de soin dans les détails. Mais ça n’enlève pas le fait que nous y avons passé un bon séjour, et que l’emplacement de l’hôtel, sur l’île, est absolument extraordinaire. La vue sur la rivière (gelée en Janvier) est magnifique. Le quartier résidentiel cossu est agréable à visiter à pied. Ice and Snow World est pas très loin. Point négatif, mais comme partout apparemment lors de notre séjour, les gens fument partout dans l’hôtel.

I was extremely disappointed because they didn’t give me any free cable car ride. It was one of the reason I booked it cause the other reviews said eveyone got a free two way cable car ride ticket. Also they have mentioned it as well in FAQ section. Other than that transportation is very hectic as it is in a remote area. Only taxi can go through and they need to take permission. Other than that I think the castle was very beautiful. I might go here again but do not expect any free cable car ride tickets

The hotel has a rustic feel. It is located in a great area with lots of fun activities around. We got free cable cart tickets from the island to the river and Zhongyang street and back.

Xin Yuhang, the employee that works in Sun Castle Resort Hotel is really nice, helpful and friendly, helps us with the difficulties we had throughout our stay there. Because of our language barriers , he was patience to translate it to us and despite the crowd that kept coming in and making him busy, he handle one by one with class, professionalism, and each person's help. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel and holiday in Harbin. Thank you so much for making our stay a great one. We'll rate this 10/10

I booked into one of the main bedrooms at the castle and was super impressed at the ornate details in this building. The extra large bath tub was a bonus. It was great having the cable cars come across the river and into the castle. The staff went beyond their normal call of duty to make my stay there a royal one indeed. I would highly recommend at least 2 nights at this place, if not for anything but for the experience of sleeping in a castle. Kesavan from South Africa.

We stayed 3 nights and the first 2 were fine. The last night construction started in the hallway next to our room without warning from the front desk. Called in the morning nobody answered. It is obvious the building is under construction but I don’t know why we are given a room closest to the construction area and not telling us or offering an alternative location. No restaurants nearby except food vendors along the street during the day. Wouldn’t stay again.

Best location to walk around central street. Safe and clean.

Location only accessible by taxi (drivers need to be told how to enter the area) and cablecar, far from metro and food options. However the room itself was excellent, and the building is interesting

Location is within sun island. As a tourist who uses esim and don't have a local number. . To allow the car to enter you will need to call and inform them in advance, without local number you can't call. You are doomed to drop off at entry to island that is at least 1km walk into the hotel as your did app won't be able to show you the hotel location If you are just visiting the sun island this is a great option. There are cable car but the price is expensive compared to the car option. 2 other things for a foreign tourist i would not recommend to book this hotel. 1st is that the front desk person who is big sized guy and wearing spec gave me the worst even experience. He just asked if I would like to add on for breakfast. did not even explain the option of the transport into the island or anything at all and just dump the hotel card on the desk instead of passing it by hand. The encounter I have with the local was that they were all very friendly, I would be surprised if he is one because he would be a outliner to the rest. 2nd was I was trapped at a lift for hotel guest for 20mins when I wanted to go back to my room. As this is a place for the cable car, people will take it and they uses a general life and there is one for hotel guests only. When I took it the lift it man functioned and the door did not open, the alarm in the lift did not even work at all. I pressed and shouted but no use at all. It's only after 20mins that someone noticed and I have to pry open the door to be rescued. However the worst experience can't as this person who saw me was a hotel staff, he proceeded to scold me for taking the lift when it's spoiled.however clearly there was no sign that this lift was spoiled and before I took it I even asked one of the staff managing the queue nearby the lift that I'll be taking this life and he didn't even say it's spoiled. Also the big sized also came and he also scold me. Then right after someone else can and put a signage that this lift is not working so clearly this is not my fault. When I checked out, i feedback to another staff on this and he gave me 2 magnets as a gift. For 2 magnets to pacify this experience is an insult. I do not recommend as a tourist to stay at this place

We booked 2 rooms, both were large and spacious. The hotel is beautiful and the finishes are fantastic.

Super pretty place! I really like the design of the rooms it really felt like a castle. But at the same time wasn't a big fan of the breakfast

Clean hotel friendly staff and the good breakfast and highly recommended.We'll come back again.

 Very nice location with good service and very nice rooms. There is also a gondola included in the room price which is very nice.  Staff is nice and helpful, highly recommended.
