Nous sommes rentrés de notre vacances à Hermosa Beach. Je suis si heureux d'avoir choisi Beach House Hermosa pour notre hôtel! Nous aimions tout sur notre séjour. La chambre et la propreté de la chambre et l'ensemble de l'hôtel étaient un immense plus. Nous avons choisi une salle de front de l'océan au troisième étage, car c'était une fête de retraite pour moi et un ami s'est écrasé un peu. Nous avons été accueillis chaque fois que nous sommes entrés ou quittés l'hôtel, et chaque fois que nous passons tout employé. Le personnel du bureau frontal doit être loué pour montrer un intérêt réel pour nous. Plus cette équipe valet - Wow! Ils nous ont gardés pour notre voiture, nos chaises de plage et nos serviettes et étaient toujours si gentils. J'ai dit à mon mari ce soir que l'équipe de Beach House Hotel est vraiment une équipe et leur service est égal à une équipe d'hôtel Ritz bien formée, mais de manière plus accidentelle naturelle. Nous reviendrons à cet hôtel sur la plage et sur la plage pour toute visite future à Hermosa Beach.

We loved our stay at surf city hostel! The hostel is located in a very fun and safe area. Lots of restaurants and bars as well as beach access less than 2 mins away. The hostel itself is small but this means you immediately feel welcomed into the community. Roger allowed us to use the laundry facilities even though it was inconvenient timing for the staff. Everyone was very nice which makes sense because everyone we met was volunteering at the hostel… this meant that it was very clean since they spent all day cleaning… the luggage storage seemed a bit dodgy and was often left unlocked. Overall this was a good stay and very good value for your money. Favourite place we’ve stayed in LA so far compared to 2 other chain hostels we stayed in.

Hampton Inn and Suites Hermosa Beach

We checked in to the Hampton Inn on March 11, 2023 for a two night stay. I know that every stay or experience can’t always be perfect, and I know some things are beyond the control of the management or staff. However I think there’s a problem at the Hampton Inn Hermosa Beach that might have something to do with the management. First of all they have signs all over the building that say “Making You Happy Makes Us Happy“ and “Enter the Happy Zone” however, I can honestly say I never saw one staff member smile. Not the maids, the kitchen staff, the front desk personnel, or the man I assumed was the manager. I made a point of watching for a smile the second day after seeing the signs. I never spoke to the manager. He didn’t look approachable. I understand we couldn’t count on a specific room but why couldn’t we at least request one? We were told if we called back the morning of our reservation we could do it at that time if such a room was available. When we did so, we were told all the rooms were assigned the day before by the manager. Now, that aside, I must mention that the top of the vending and ice machines on the third floors are disgusting! In room 302 The doors to the toilet and clothes closet don’t open without one being adjusted out of the way. The heater which sits right next to the bed blows cold air directly at the person sleeping next to it every time it comes on. We didn’t get maid service. We noticed there was no “Maid Service Requested” door hanger and called the desk to report it and we were told, “Just make sure you don’t put the ‘Do Not Disturb’ hanger on the outside of the door and the maids will clean your room.” It didn’t happen and so I was told to come down to the front desk if I wanted a washcloth and towel. Finally, the breakfast the first morning we were there consisted of among other things what looked like over-stirred powdered imitation eggs, undercooked sausage links, and bananas that almost two weeks later might still not be ripe. I think I’ll avoid staying at Hampton Inns in the future. I felt like it wasn’t worth the money.

Nous voulions passer quelques jours sur la plage, nous sommes restés ici en août 2022. C'était un bon endroit pour rester et nous avons donné ce que nous voulions. Il y a d'autres hôtels plus proches ou sur la plage, mais ils étaient beaucoup plus chers. La salle de bains est à 15 minutes de marche. Nous avons eu une salle propre qui n'était pas trop petite, une douche avec assez d'eau chaude, un petit réfrigérateur dans la salle, et un climatisation. Nous avons fini par courir pendant la journée pour faire la chambre froide et ensuite le désactiver et cela nous a bien travaillé. Au cours de notre séjour, ils n'avaient pas encore de waffles chauds au petit déjeuner ou tout autre aliment chaud, mais ils avaient du café, des jus de fruits canardés, des céréales, des pâtes en colis. Le restaurant est très bien situé, mais il est très bien situé. La chambre est très confortable et confortable. La porte est située à côté d'un grand Trader Joes et un centre commercial avec un supermarché et un magasin de drogues est à environ cinq minutes à pied. Il vend ainsi un livre deux semaines ou plus. Une voiture est utile si vous allez à Santa Monica ou à d'autres endroits plus loin, mais pour des voyages plus courts comme à Manhattan Beach, il est mieux de prendre Uber; nous l'avons fait, même si nous avions notre voiture et évitons les ennuis de tenter de parker, et il est inférieur à 10 $ pour des voyages plus courts.

For the first time in two years (due to Covid travel restrictions) we were able to spend Christmas and New Years with our family in Hermosa Beach. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites was the perfect hotel choice for us! It was located less than a mile from our daughter and her family and just a few blocks from ocean front and the Pier, less than thirty minutes from LAX, on the Pacific Coast Highway. Due to our extended stay, we spoke with Raven Charitra, Sales Manager, regarding our reservation and then worked with Danial at the Front Desk, who was extremely patient in answering our many questions. Fred was also very accommodating in answering questions and handing out face masks when we forgot ours and Carlos did a great job on the night shift! The hotel includes breakfast, beautifully handled by George and Delmi. It also offers free parking. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed visiting us at the hotel and being able to use the pool. Needless to say, we already look forward to our next visit and staying here again!
