South Mimms/Potters Bar

Nous avions besoin d'un hôtel à proximité d'un hôtel de Londres pour répondre aux besoins de nos amis. En ce qui concerne cela, South Mims et tout est parfait. On dirait qu'il a été récemment rénové car il est impeccable partout. Les chambres ont tout ce qu'on peut désirer et sont impeccables. Nous avons séjourné ici pendant deux nuits et avons eu de délicieux dîners et petits déjeuners avec quelque chose pour tous les goûts. Le personnel est sympathique, accueillant, très disponible et serviable, ils sont toujours souriants et prêts à se joindre à vous.

If you drive a commercial vehicle please avoid this place like the plague! They have an issue with vehicle break ins which they neglect to tell you when booking. And should it happen to and you report it to reception I can assure they couldn’t care less, the receptionist didn’t even look up when I told him I’d been broken into in his car park awful service Please see photo of my busted lock barrel

Ideal location,ample parking. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Breakfast and dinner superb , great bar. All staff very friendly and helpful . Overall another Fabulous stay . Highly recommended 👍👍

I'm writing this message for second time. This was the worst Premier Inn I've stayed at. Been staying in Premier Inns over 20 years. Sadly now, Premier Inn have zero interest in customers or complaints. I had to stay at South Mimms, after Premier Inn reservation team screwed up my booking to stay near Excel London, charging me £284 instead of £160, and wouldn't admit their error, saying the computer never says no. Post Office Horizon all over again. South Mimms was served well by most workers, but duty manager and assistant were truly awful, the assistant saying she would lie for him, if I made a complaint. My room wasn't cleaned, at all, in 4 nights stay. I wasn't able to order food, as no one picked up the phone, and as a type 1 diabetic, I have to eat on time.

Used this as easy access to London and couldn’t have been happier. The staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. Very clean and tidy On the first evening we have a meal and drinks in the restaurant and everything was great value and tasty, as was breakfast too. Would definitely stop here again

This hotel is really good, better than the standard premier inn. The bed was comfy, the staff were friendly. Veryckean all the way through and a nice bar. We had breakfast which was ok, but no vegetarian option.offered , the beans, gash browns were cold and food very slow to be replenished

Left trousers in wardrobe. Miraculously they have disappeared. Not happy and this has put me off of Premierinn

Plenty of parking for vans and I found parking to be a good price of £15 for 3x nights, considering location. I did have issues with paying for parking though. The payment machine wouldn't accept my card and the website was saying the car park was full, even though it wasn't. The receptionist couldn't help as it was an external parking operator. In the end after 3x different cards the machine in the reception took payment. I own a premier inn hard pillow at home as I use Premier Inn a lot for work and find these the best for me, however there was no available hard pillows which did affect my sleep. The receptionist for some reason couldn't tell me if breakfast was on the booking (company booking) and that I had to wait until the morning when I asked at breakfast check in, which I found odd. The room needed a good hoover, it clearly hadn't been done. I found food in various places on the floor and also plastic pieces in the shower tray as well as hairs. Only good thing was the parking here.

The rooms are all on the one floor and there are around 350, I was in 336 which is like a mile away. The room was cold, the heating didn’t work. The walk back to reception to raise the issue was not fun and they tried to switch it on twice with terrible respons that the heating system is old and takes a long time to get to my room. After two trips back to reception and some one hour later I got very trickle heating. Not enjoyable at all and the staff not helpful at all.
