This traditional Japanese ryokan features a private onsen and is located about 8 minutes on foot from the main road with restaurants and 20 minutes from the entrance to Jigokudani (Hell Valley). The interior is beautifully maintained in classic style, with tatami flooring throughout the common areas and guest rooms, which are furnished with comfortable futon bedding. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped with amenities. Anything not already provided can be taken from the selection near the reception. Guests receive a yukata to wear around the ryokan and to the onsen. Complimentary drinks are available at reception, though they request you enjoy them in your room rather than common areas. The gender-separated onsen, while small, has everything needed for a relaxing soak. Each bathing area includes both indoor and outdoor pools, and they alternate daily between men's and women's use. During my stay, it was never crowded. One disappointment was being unable to book the in-room dinner service upon morning arrival, as it was apparently too late to arrange. Those interested should probably reserve at least a day in advance. Overall, it's a comfortable, authentic ryokan experience with superb service and good facilities.

Installations : Après avoir visité Jozankei et le lac Toya pendant ce voyage, nous avons tous convenu que l'eau thermale de Noboribetsu était la meilleure. L'eau sulfureuse, d'un blanc laiteux, était incroyablement relaxante après un bain. Repas : Deux repas étaient inclus dans le prix de la chambre. Bien que les portions ne fussent pas copieuses, elles étaient exquises et délicieuses – nous avons adoré ! Cette petite auberge à l'atmosphère chaleureuse est vivement recommandée.

The highlight, beyond the relaxing onsen itself, was the incredible food—each meal was a masterpiece of kaiseki cuisine, using fresh, local ingredients. The attention to detail and gracious service made our stay truly special. The room is clean and got a plenty of space.  Offspring is very nice with a very good quality of water. The meal is not fancy, but it is tasty.
