Monica, the pool waitress at the Thompson Hotel Houston, provides outstanding service with a warm and friendly demeanor. She is incredibly attentive, ensuring guests' needs are met promptly and with a smile. Her knowledge of the menu and drink recommendations are top-notch, making every poolside experience enjoyable. Monica's professionalism and cheerful attitude create a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend experiencing her excellent service during your stay.

Monica (the pool assistant) was absolutely terrific! The views were amazing of downtown Houston. I was extremely satisfied and would come back and recommend to family and friends! It was upscale but still chill. As a Houston native, I look for quality places and this is definitely one of those must see spots!

Friendly service, very professional and patient. I felt safe riding with Charles. He knew the city well and had great stories to share! We enjoyed spending our car ride with him. We hope to ride with him again soon. He made our visit special!! The car was cool too.

Excellent customer service, the staff were friendly, and very helpful. Room view was stellar and comfy! LOVED the robes & in room Nespresso. Cedric who drove us around was INCREDIBLE! He made getting around easier. Charles was super helpful as well. Victor Borjas was the definition of excellence in customer experience!

I stayed at the Thompson Hotel recently to attend the opening of the Toca Madera restaurant next door. The staff was kind and helpful and the hotel itself was gorgeous and luxurious. I would absolutely plan another trip to Houston just to stay there again. If you are considering staying at the Thompson Hotel, you should!

Amazing staff. Terrific! Exceptional!!!! I’ll stealing your staff for my hotel! This is how hospitality should be done. Everyone is engaged, kind, sweet and willing to do whatever is necessary to make the clientele happy. Everyone in hospitality should tip a page from the Thompson Houston’s book and see how it’s done. Kaneshia, Arianna, Olivia and Lisa were amazing!

5- love the staff. Russell, Mark- they all took care of me. The rooms are GORGEOUS. Breakfast is great in Sol 7. The coffee is amazing, and I really appreciate that. I loved the drivers in the hotel cars that took me downtown and to friend’s homes everyday! Cedric and Charles are fantastic.

Wonderful hotel, it looks like it was just renovated or built. The hotel starts on the 7th floor, residences are below. This creates fantastic views. We had a city side view. We used all our Hyatt points to get a suite and it was well worth it. We spent most all of our time in the room, that’s how nice it was. The street can be noisy but we didn’t mind. The design of the hotel is comfortable and modern, which don’t always go together. The coffee shop downstairs called Maven is a must visit, an Astros player started it and he hired an excellent barista to run it, the serve drinks in the evenings. We didn’t have time for the pool as it rained but we enjoyed watching that from our room. The park next to the hotel is a good place to ride bikes, stroll or run. We took ours and found places to eat and shop. I’d come back here next time we are in town, the staff were friendly. The parking is valet or you can wait for a spot on the back that’s shared with the gym. They made it sound like you could be towed but the people that work at the hotel park there without passes so that’s what we did.

I want to give a major shout-out to Victor, Olivia, and Charles. They were the main staff we interacted with and they were fantastic. The valet team was great and I really only had to open my car door once. They are a great example of a staff taking pride in their work. The room was spacious and beautiful with an AMAZING view. The only downside to the room was the tv didn't quite get good reception so every show got staticky often. But otherwise, it was an amazing stay for hubby and I to enjoy our anniversary. Also, the robes are sooooo comfy. Thank you to Olivia and Victor for your work on the hotel, it shows. And thank you Charles (in the house car) for being such a friendly driver.
