Hôtels Ibis à Huangshan

Newly refurbished, the hotel is very clean and dorned with trendy and minimalistic interior design. Rooms are very comfortable, and some rooms have mountain views, which is a bonus. Staff are friendly and service was good overall. The hotel is very near the Xiaoyaoxi (逍遙溪）bus transfer. It is much closer to the park entrance than the South Transfer Centre. The hotel also provides a free shuttle to the Xiaoyaoxi transfer centre all day. The breakfast is delicious at ¥25, which we find reasonable with its generous menu compared to the breakfast we found on the street. We would love for the hotel staff to provide more useful travel advice to independent travellers. Things like a simple travel map and guidance for transportation would be great. They do have a travel agent working at the hotel, but we prefer to sightsee on our own. Another room for improvement would be to enforce the no-smoking rule at the restaurant which is right next to the lobby. It would allow us to enjoy sitting at the beautifully designed lobby more often. Nonetheless, we had an enjoyable stay at Ibis. We would love to stay at this hotel again next time.
