The location of this hotel is fantastic if you want to be right in the middle of a lively area with easy access to the Myeongdong Night Market. It is very near to an MRT exit, but bear in mind that this specific exit has no elevator; you will have to use the nearest escalator or staircase, which can be tough with a stroller. Furthermore, because the hotel sits right on a main road, there is no proper pick-up or drop-off area, making arriving and leaving by car quite chaotic. Inside the room, there is no kettle provided to boil water, and the bathroom lacks a separate wet and dry area because the sink tap is connected directly to the shower head, leaving the entire floor wet. We also bumped our heads a few times on the low clearance of the double-decker bed. For laundry, it is not a self-service coin system; instead, a man who said he is the owner handles it for you, takes cash payment directly, and then enters the room to put the clothes back for you. Aside from this laundry drop-off, there was actually no standard room service provided throughout our entire 3 night stay. Beyond the room setup, the overall stay felt quite uncomfortable because it constantly felt like we were being watched, as the man appeared very frequently to check if everything was okay. Considering the high price we paid to stay over the weekend for such a tiny room, it simply wasn't worth it. I would highly recommend choosing a different area where you can get a more decent, proper hotel-level room for your money, especially if you are traveling with small kids.

Perfect for solo travelers!🔥 I was very happy to come back here after long hours of walking around the city! The room and the hostel itself look even better than in photos, everything is very clean and cozy. The room is small but the zoning is just perfect, there's everything you need - a refrigerator, a wardrobe, shelves, air conditioning, also the hood works very well and there's no humidity after the shower. If you turn the sign on the door, they'll do a perfect cleaning and change the towels. There's also a laundry service. It's comfortable to be in the common area - the staff is incredibly nice and friendly, they'll help if you have questions🥰 In the evening it's quiet and you can relax here~ The breakfast is simple - milk, cereal and toast, but for me it was enough. The hostel is great if you want independence: check-in and check-out are easy to make it yourself, and it's convenient that you only need your key card to enter. It feels like you're renting a room in a nice building, not living in a hostel. I like it❤️ The location is just great! The fact that the metro is 1-2 minutes away is no joke! There're also many convenience stores nearby, a currency exchange office, various restaurants, Paris Baguette, Daiso and Olive Young, and of course a shopping street Myeongdong, literally across the road, where I spent my every evening🥹 The Namsan tower is also visible every time you return to the hostel✨ I had a great time here and would be happy to stay here again on my next trip to Korea, thank you OYO 6!🫶

Comme il est situé au milieu du quartier commerçant de Myeong-dong, vous pouvez faire du shopping et manger jusque tard dans la nuit sans avoir à vous soucier du dernier train après votre arrivée à votre dernier hôtel. De plus, même si l'on se sentait un peu à l'étroit, le personnel de la réception parlait couramment japonais et était très sympathique. De plus, vous pouvez louer une prise de conversion à la réception, il y a une balance pour transporter des valises dans le passage à l'extérieur de la pièce et vous pouvez utiliser le micro-ondes et la cuisine, je suis donc satisfait du rapport qualité-prix. Je l'utiliserais certainement à nouveau la prochaine fois.

Tout d'abord, je tiens à me plaindre ! Lors de ma réservation, il y avait le choix entre des chambres au sous-sol et des chambres supérieures, etc. Pour le confort de mon enfant, j'avais réservé une chambre supérieure avec fenêtre ! Or, cette chambre se trouvait au sous-sol, sans fenêtre, et tout au fond de la pièce ! J'aurais vraiment voulu payer un supplément pour la changer, mais il ne restait qu'une seule chambre, encore moins bien, alors j'ai dû me contenter de celle-ci. Pire encore, l'ascenseur a fait un bruit infernal toute la nuit, effrayant mon enfant qui s'est endormi, et je n'ai pas fermé l'œil de la nuit ! Le problème principal, c'est que l'annonce de l'hôtel « n'indiquait pas que la chambre était au sous-sol » et insistait spécifiquement sur la présence d'une « fenêtre ». Cette publicité mensongère nous a induits en erreur. Mon enfant et moi avions des exigences précises lors de la réservation sur TripAdvisor : une belle vue, du calme et pas une chambre tout au fond de la pièce ! Cette chambre était au sous-sol, sans fenêtre, avec le bruit de l'ascenseur, et c'était la toute dernière ! J'étais terrifiée ! S'il n'y avait pas de chambres convenables disponibles, l'hôtel aurait pu me prévenir à l'avance, mais je n'ai reçu aucune notification ni communication. La publicité de l'hôtel était tellement alléchante, c'est vraiment consternant ! Au départ, je voulais parler des points positifs, mais j'ai vraiment dépensé une fortune et je me suis retrouvée dans une cave ! Je suis furieuse ! D'ailleurs, même si la salle de bain est grande, la bonde de la douche est bouchée. Quand je prends une douche, l'eau m'arrive aux chevilles et je ne suis toujours pas complètement sèche le lendemain matin. On dirait bien que la publicité ne résout pas tous les problèmes !

Notre changement de programme de dernière minute, de Busan à Séoul, nous a amenés à chercher un hébergement près de Myeongdong. L'emplacement de l'hôtel, à seulement cinq minutes à pied de la rue commerçante de Myeongdong, était exceptionnellement pratique. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié l'amabilité et la prévenance du personnel, qui nous a même offert un petit cadeau au moment de notre départ. Nous vous remercions de votre accueil.

Comme mentionné dans les avis, il n'y avait pas de pantoufles dans la chambre, donc j'ai bien fait d'apporter les miennes. La salle de douche a une porte, donc pas de souci que les toilettes soient mouillées, mais la pression de l'eau était faible et c'était froid en hiver, heureusement la chambre était chaude grâce à l'ondol. Il y avait l'odeur typique des égouts coréens, mais ce n'était pas un problème une fois la porte de la salle de bain fermée. Le check-in et le check-out étant autonomes, il n'y a eu aucune interaction gênante. Le shampoing, l'après-shampoing, le gel douche, le savon, la brosse à dents, le dentifrice, le nettoyant pour le visage et l'eau dans le réfrigérateur étaient tous fournis. Il y a un supermarché ouvert 24h/24 au rez-de-chaussée. Sortir les poubelles soi-même n'était pas un problème, et si je devais rester plus de 3 nuits, j'aimerais revenir ici.

Le premier jour, j'ai séjourné dans la chambre standard 502, qui était épouvantable. Il n'y avait ni table ni chaises, la chambre était sale, et les carreaux muraux se décollaient et semblaient sur le point de tomber. Une poutre surplombait le lit, et le design était vraiment affreux. Les draps étaient tachés, et la couverture était si grande qu'elle touchait le sol. Le plus insupportable était l'odeur nauséabonde d'égout. J'ai beau vaporiser des désodorisants, rien n'y faisait. J'avais peur de respirer trop fort en dormant, ce qui était très désagréable. Les marches menant aux toilettes étaient très hautes, ce qui était très gênant pour les personnes âgées. Les deuxième et troisième jours, j'ai été transféré dans la chambre de luxe 305, un vrai paradis. Il y avait des tables et des chaises, les murs étaient corrects, et surtout, l'odeur d'égout avait disparu. Les toilettes étaient à côté du lit au lieu d'être en face. La chambre et les oreillers étaient vraiment confortables, et la chambre était très spacieuse. Cependant, je ne sais pas pourquoi il y a eu un problème avec la prise de courant. L'adaptateur fourni fonctionnait souvent mal. La chambre ne contenait qu'un peignoir et un gobelet pour le bain de bouche, et aucun service d'étage n'était proposé. En revanche, l'emplacement était incroyablement pratique, avec une multitude de restaurants et de boutiques, et le Wi-Fi était rapide.

The hotel was located in the middle of Myeongdong just a few minutes from the main shopping street, with a bus and metro station only a 2 minute walk away. It’s also one of the more affordable options, making it both convenient & budget-friendly. It was the perfect base for exploring Seoul with ease. The rooms were clean & had all the necessary amenities. The receptionist was incredibly kind, very welcoming & helpful. He even made personalized stamps with our names for us to use during our stay, which was such a thoughtful touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

living as 2 friends here for a week was very comfortable. most importantly they have an elevator. the room has an electric kettle, hair dryer, hair straightener, mini refrigerator. they also had several water bottles and cups prepared in the refrigerator. around 4 pieces of towels and 2 bathrobes. two trash cans and two paper towel boxes. makeup desk with a mirror near the bed and another long desk with a computer. not much storage but it was ok for us to keep our stuff in our luggages since we were staying for a short period. the room had a huge TV with connection to the internet, a PC with a keyboard and headphones. the double bed was very comfortable but i wish they had separate blankets. the bathroom was clean and nice, wasn’t too damp like in other places i’ve been to. a toothpaste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner were prepared in full size which was very thoughtful of them. they also have mirrors on the inside of the windows. outside the room they had a microwave for shared use. people at the reception were nice and friendly, especially one man that always greeted us with a smile. i’m not sure about the noise cancelling though. sometimes sounds from the hallway would scare us when the staff were cleaning other rooms, but it was still a pleasant stay. a couple bus stops and subway stations were in a comfortable distance from the hotel, there’s a bus that goes right to the Olympic Park from KSPO side. i recommend if you are looking for a place not too far from KSPO (40 min walk or a short bus ride).

J'ai eu du mal à trouver du savon pour les mains, mais l'établissement était propre et j'étais content de pouvoir recharger mon téléphone via USB.
