« wonderful stay at Debom Rest! clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. staff friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcomed throughout our stay. had dinner at hotel restaurant, avocado drink was awesome! food was another highlight – fresh, flavorful, and with a good variety of both local and international dishes. breakfast was ok only though. overall will recommend for anyone visiting Kandy – we would definitely stay here again! »

« The hotel hasn't done any maintenance in the rooms in years. Our room smelled like mold, and humidity. The shower kept changing temperature, sign of a bad water heater, and had sewage smell coming from the drainage. On our first night, the light switch in the bathroom started smoking and doing sparks everywhere - if we hadn't been there to call the reception right away, it would have been a severe fire hazard. The location is quite good as it is right on the lake, and Is a nice walk in the morning. The cleaners woke us up at 6.30 AM because they were slamming doors and screaming. I think this hotel is a 3star and not 4 »

The most impressive was the swimming pool on the roof, from which you could overlook the mountains and the valley! The bar had very high quality delicious food and also cocktails. « Wonderful place, Best location.This hotel is located in the heart of the walking street, convenient for walking around. You can walk to the beach with clean white sand and very clear water. This beach is free of garbage. The bed is of very good quality. The bathroom is comfortable and luxurious beyond the price paid. Breakfast it ok.Good staff and service. »

« Nice clean beautiful hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Anusha is the best and her daily cleaning service was the best. Location is bit far from the main city. Has hot water but is different from the nornal shower head which is cold water and the hot shower head is ONLY hot water so you have to try run both at the same time to make it warm but its not worth it. So just quick cold shower and out. »

« 酒店非常新淨，冷氣很足，熱水也很快，風景非常優美，看着可以發呆一整天。餐廳食物不錯，咖喱雞是我在斯里蘭卡吃過最好味的，不過建議詢問當天有什麼食物提供，提供用餐時間，好讓他們準備，因為只有一兩位服務員，其中一位非常友善，可是英文不太好，但是都很熱心幫忙，另外一位會whatspp提供幫助，英文非常好，是可以信賴的人。 唯一要注意是沒有電梯，而且沒有風筒，個人用品也建議自己帶備。中間亦試過突然停電一小段時間，但是很快會回復，不會影響正常生活，且酒店大門沒有上鎖。另外我住了兩晚，可是服務員沒有收拾房間，而且第一天在洗手間看到一隻很大隻的蜘蛛，不過這是住在郊外的代價，想要看到優美的風景，便有機會會遇上野生昆蟲。 由市中心上酒店的路途風景優美，酒店步行15分鐘左右有小段瀑布，非常優美，有興趣可以叫篤篤司機停低拍照欣賞。另外留意因為居住比較偏遠，所以附近不會有餐廳，建議在市中心補給才回酒店。 整體還是非常推薦，但是要有心理準備不會準時區般這麼方便，但是值得的。 »
