Avis : Jr Kyushu Hotel Kagoshima

So surprise the entrance of hotel is inside the station. This is even nearer than JR hotel at Oita. So convenient!! Their breakfast is good too but a bit expensive at 1980 yen which is same at Oita. With lots of eating places around and of course the ferry wheel not to be missed. Got the CUTE pass at tourist centre to take bus to City Aquarium / port for ferry to Sakurashima to view volcano. Spent around 4h from hotel and back to port for the trip only as we didn’t stop at all bus stations in the Sakurashima. Glad to try the longest leg bath there. Watched few mins of free dolphin show at the canal of the port too. Took tram back to hotel to rest. Then went for ferry wheel and took bus to tenmonkan to visit donki. Back to kagoshimachuo for dinner at 7pm and rested for the day. Really very super convenient place / city. By the way only 2 washer and 2 dryer in the hotel North Wing, so if you need to do laundry do plan else long queue.

Cp value is extremely high. The service attitude is so sincere from the staff, there is bath salt provided, i feel 😃happy

The hotel is just beside the Kagoshima-Chou station. Check in the 2 level, where you have some of the amenities.

JR hotels are always excellent and this was one of the best of the lot; super-convenient location if you have big bags and are using trains. Decent-sized rooms, great lobby.

Excellent location, in the Kagoshimachuo station. Great price. Decent room, not cramped at all and space to lay out your luggage. Did not order breakfast. There are so many choices outside the hotel.

A best hotel for stay. Excellent location for transportation of JR, City tour, bus, tram. Breakfast is delicious. A clean and comfort room.

Highly recommended! Shopping mall is just 1 min walking distance. Convenience store , coffee shop , restaurant is just downstairs. The room is nice. Spacious, clean, comfy! Service is good as usual.

Superb hotel with direct access from JR station, and 1min walk to the tram stop and sightseeing bus stop. Staff was polite and patiently assisted and provided map on information we needed. Lovely bath salts for our use. Self service luggage deposit allowed us to continue exploring the city after checkup. Recommended stay at Kagoshima.

The location is extremely convenient and the staff were very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Kagoshima!

The hotel has direct access to the train station, which is extremely convenient. The room is also nice and clean. I had a wonderful stay in the hotel.
