The place was amazing, and at night, the room was so cool! Even without air conditioning, we had natural ventilation. At least we could take a deep breath in such a beautiful place. Best part it's pet-friendly!

The perfect place for a quiet retreat surrounded by breathtaking nature up in the hills. So very beautiful!

The place is so run down! The road uphill is steeped and rocky. The room is not to what we expected from the picture. It’s really in the jungle! If you are not into insects, mosquitoes and lizards, please avoid this place. There’s no air-conditioner, no toiletries, no coffee/tea like hotel but yet, charge at hotel price! This is the most regretful choice I have made in my life!

很好的度假享受。 職員很友善的介紹廚房用具。 還有蚊香和蚊油，睡床還有蚊帳。 還有一大桶的飲用水，食油、鹽。 職員還關心的問我們有沒有準備晚餐和早餐。

我寫中文這個酒店看得到嗎？我應該不會再去了。沒有冷氣，再美的環境也頂不住沒有冷氣。畢竟不是在山頂是在山裡，沒有冷氣真的要命。

Le personnel n'était pas bien informé des prix et de la promotion spéciale associés à nos détails de réservation, ce qui nous a finalement amenés à débourser plus d'argent pour compenser leur erreur de ne pas nous en informer à l'avance. Il est également décevant qu'ils n'aient pas proposé de couvrir la différence de prix car c'était une erreur de leur équipe de ne pas nous avoir informés à l'avance de la différence de prix si nous devions changer de chambre. Nous avons été induits en erreur en pensant que notre changement de chambre serait moins cher et que cela nous permettrait un crédit supplémentaire pour acheter de la nourriture. Nous avons seulement réalisé que nous devions non seulement payer un supplément pour la chambre mais aussi pour la nourriture au moment du départ. Certainement pas l'expérience que je recherchais. La nourriture doit être commandée un jour à l'avance et oui, cela nous a été informé plus tôt. Cependant, pour un complexe aussi réputé, il serait bon que le personnel rappelle au client un jour plus tôt s'il y a un besoin de nourriture car l'emplacement est assez profond dans la jungle et cela n'a pas de sens pour nous de quitter l'endroit si nous avons oublié de commander la nourriture. La nourriture ne valait certainement pas l'argent que nous avons payé. Décevant en effet

Lorsque vous recherchez des hôtels acceptant les chiens en Malaisie, Dusun est apparu comme l'une des destinations les plus recommandées, c'est pourquoi nous l'avons choisi. Nous avons réservé deux maisons avec nos amis en février pour les vacances de mai. Entre février et mai, Dusun a eu de nombreux échanges via WhatsApp avec nous, y compris pendant les vacances, ils ne proposeront aucun déjeuner ni dîner, mais n'ont jamais mentionné que la maison que nous avons réservée n'accepte pas les animaux. Nous avons donc emballé une voiture pleine et avons roulé 2 heures depuis KL, nous n'avons découvert qu'à notre arrivée que notre chien n'était pas autorisé dans la maison. Le réceptionniste n'a proposé aucune compensation ni aucune solution possible mais nous a demandé de partir. Il a promis que Dusun effectuerait un remboursement complet, mais nous devons gérer le remboursement avec la plateforme sur laquelle nous avons réservé, à savoir bookings.com. En fin de compte, nos amis et nous-mêmes n’avons eu d’autre choix que de quitter Dusun et de rentrer à KL dans la nuit. Finalement, nous avons contacté Asmaq, la responsable de Dusun, en espérant qu'elle nous apportera des solutions. Malheureusement, à notre grande déception, elle n'était pas non plus intéressée à résoudre le problème et a insisté sur le fait que c'était de notre faute. Mais comment? Il n'y avait aucun avertissement indiquant que la maison n'accepte pas les animaux domestiques lorsque nous l'avons réservée. Lorsque nous avons appelé bookings. com, on nous a dit que Dusun n'acceptait de rembourser que 50 % de notre paiement (nous avons payé plus de 3 000 RM), ce qui est différent de la promesse de remboursement intégral de la réceptionniste. Au final, après de nombreux appels téléphoniques avec bookings.com, la plateforme a accepté de couvrir les 50 % restants en crédit - un beau geste bookings.com !! Si j'étais toi, je resterai loin de Dusun. Je comprends qu'en Malaisie, seuls quelques endroits acceptent les animaux de compagnie, mais cela ne leur donne pas le droit de traiter les propriétaires de chiens comme ils l'ont fait. Et ils ne devraient pas s'en sortir encore et encore car ce n'est pas la première fois qu'ils font cela aux propriétaires de chiens, et pourtant ils n'ont toujours pas amélioré leurs systèmes de réservation pour montrer quelles maisons acceptent les animaux et lesquelles ne le sont pas. . Le réceptionniste nous a dit environ 1 heure avant notre arrivée, ils ont dû refouler un autre client pour une raison similaire. Nous ne sommes donc pas les seuls. Dusun semblait très habile à gérer ce type de problème, essayant d'obtenir le plus d'argent possible auprès des clients qui n'avaient même pas la possibilité de rester. C'est une arnaque je dirais !

Grandes retraites d'escapade avec un environnement très paisible, une superbe piscine avec vue sur la forêt, un personnel amical et les services publics de la maison sont tous bien équipés. La propre cuisine est recommandée et une expérience d'un autre niveau pour cuisiner dans la jungle. Dans l'ensemble, ça vaut vraiment le coup!

It was prolly our 6th or 7th stay here.Been 10 months since our last stay and they have made some improvements,like lock on the doors! We love it here for a few reasons...... a) Rates here are reasonable compared to others,but u get what u pay for,its NOT a 5-star resort and they dont claim to be one b) there are 3 or 4 villas that are pet-friendly c) u can cook your own food and bring your own drinks d) the 2 pools are great Contrary to some reviews,one can drive a normal car here

We recently stayed at the Tapir House at The Dusun that left me with mixed feelings. The peaceful atmosphere was a definite highlight, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The laid-back vibe added to the overall relaxation, creating a stress-free environment. The pre-ordered meals portions were quite large. However, the absence of curtains/blinds for the Tapir House proved to be a drawback, especially for those who prefer to sleep in when the sun shines brightly. It's a small detail, but it can significantly impact the overall comfort of the stay. Additionally, navigating the terrain to reach the hotel might be challenging without a 4WD vehicle. This could be inconvenient for guests. While the overall cleanliness is satisfactory, I couldn't help but notice that the carpets seem to be neglected, which leaves me not wanting to step on them..

Place not well kept and maintained. Room lamp not working and toilet sprinkler leaked. Food provided nothing special. No activities n boring. Nothing much to do. Pool dirty and seats in pool dirty. Not to what we expected n disappointment.

Well if you fancy a getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the place for you. Arrived and was greeted by the warm and gracious welcome by the host. We stayed at the Perling Air apartment. It was clean and spacious and the kitchen area was furnished with a rice cooker, fridge, cups, bowls, and the requited utensils etc. The bathroom was clean and we had no complaints. it was humid so make sure you bring lots of bottled water.In addition, a water dispenser is provided at the kitchen area. There is dining area which overlooks the mountains which was great and wifi is available. All in all it was a pleasant stay for us, and also when you walk around the Dusun and should you stumble upon durian(s), you can eat them for free at the premises!!

Our family of 10 (aged 13 to 81) booked 3 units, Tapir, Kantan & Lanai for 2 nights in June. This place is surrounded by forest, perched high enough to enjoy views for miles around, with durian trees scattered throughout. We appreciated the fresh air, the incredible scenery, the flora & fauna, the feeling of spaciousness, the cooler temperatures & the fact that we could pick durians off the ground & eat them on the spot. If you detest insects, must have everything working quickly & efficiently (the place is slightly worn & some parts in need of maintenance but generally clean & comfortable), can’t live without wifi, must sleep in air- conditioned rooms & have to be fruitfully occupied with “activities”, then this is probably not your holiday destination. But if you hanker for space, solitude, long periods with nothing to do except enjoy the chirping of birds while reading a book, floating in a pool surrounded by gigantic trees, or just playing board or card games with friends / family, then please drop by for a stay. The manager & staff were friendly & helpful, food was decent, and beds very comfortable. We’ll definitely come back.

Surrounded with trees and plants. You get close to nature with reasonable comfort. The bed room was good. No need aircond as its cool at nite. Lanai house was where i stayed. Enjoyed the seclusion. Insects and bugs are part of the nature package(hahaha). Enter toilet with slippers cos some bugs may be lying around. Staffs were friendly and ready to help. Definitely will plan for a return.
