I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at the start of December and was not disappointed. The location is perfect to walk to either old town or the Jewish quarter. I walk everywhere so didn’t try public transport; but it is literally at the end of the road - trams/buses etc. The surrounding area felt safe, and there were always people around. The hotel itself was warm and welcoming. My room was perfect for my needs. Comfy bed, nice en suite and a lovely sitting area if you needed it. I was out pretty much all day, so it was literally a base for me and I cannot complain at all. I had breakfast one of the mornings, as the other 2 unfortunately I had to be out and about earlier than it started! (6:30am for a tour and the same for my airport run) It is a shame they don’t start breakfast at 6 for those who do need to be out and about. They day I did have breakfast there was plenty of choice. Don’t expect traditional British breakfast items, you won’t find them; but what was there was delicious, even if different to what you would have at home. I especially liked the pancakes and gooseberry yoghurt with granola! Overall a great base for a wonderful break away
