Avis : Higashiyama Shikikaboku

酒店特別日式超級喜歡，司湯的感覺也真的好好很舒服，衹是價格貴。早餐的話一般。有些吃不飽。其他的一切都還不錯

非常日式的酒店！一共衹有十個房間。有非常好吃的早餐和空中温泉供應但都需要預約，酒店的床也很軟，睡的很舒服。走路去三條四條都很近。窗户可以打開，有個小陽台。

挺好的 房間也大 位置也不錯旁邊就是地鐵站…就是床實在太軟了…

由於行程改變，我根本就沒有去這個酒店，但是在當天晚上我知道不能退款了，第二天攜程也不給我退，一開始説的理由是酒店不給退，但是我給酒店前台打電話，原來是攜程的代理不給我退。經過協商，最後退了我4000，其實我知道是我的原因，第一天是不能退款的，但是後面的不能退是不能接受的。

訂之前看到沒有評論，所以評論一下。酒店屬於比較小的酒店可能總共10個房間，外國人居多，酒店服務很好，早餐不是自助餐，但是品種很多，沙拉是我不愛吃沙拉的人也覺得好吃，女朋友沒辦法早起，他也會送到房間

It feels like we found a hidden secret in Kyoto. This hotel had spacious rooms which we needed for our large family. Our extended family of 8 stayed here and we loved it. The hospitality of the staff is unmatched. They made us feel so welcomed and they were so kind and attentive. The breakfast - Japanese or Western - was beautiful and filling and a culinary treat. We chose this hotel because it was less Western and we loved the feel of it. There is a rooftop hot tub that was amazing to dip into - even if it was the heat of the summer. We are so grateful to the staff. And they were particularly attentive to Grandpa. The Japanese culture honors their elders and the extended family and they were very caring of Grandpa. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Stay here. It is wonderful.

The rooms are very spacious and the amenities are really good. The view and location is nice (in the old district near gion). My whole experience was great including the breakfast served, but the highlight was the staff. The staff at the Shikikaboku are attentive, caring and very kind. We were helped with all of our problems, whether it was finding a taxi or a place for dinner, we were aided. Staff even offered to walk us to the place we wanted to go so we didn’t get lost! In particular, one of the members, Nana, was super friendly and did an amazing job!

Exceptional stay - location, facility and staff. Very beautiful and peaceful, would recommend without hesitation to anyone looking for an upscale sanctuary in the heart of a beautiful city. Miss Ota was extremely helpful before our stay and during. Bartender top notch

A very warm and welcoming hotel in a great location. It’s about a 10 minute walk along the canals to Gion, where many restaurants are based. It’s also right next to a subway station and a short walk across the river to the city centre. There’s free drinks in the mini bar and a free drink in the main bar each evening. Staff were all exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcome. I am very pleased that we chose this hotel for our five night stay in Kyoto.

This is a small Ryokan-style property with a minimalistic luxury feel to it. If you appreciate quiet luxury, perfect hospitality and attention to detail, this is for you. We stayed in the suite which provided ample space, nice amenities and a well stocked mini bar. Interior is very nice with beatiful and traditonal design concept. Perfect cleanliness. Located in a nice neighborhood near Heian Shrine and several other sights well worth checking out. Metro station across the street is also very useful but Kyoto is best experienced walking. Healthy set breakfast of highest quality and the breakfast room also serves as a bar in the evenings. But what really sets this high-end Ryokan property apart is the dedication, friendliness, and genuine hospitality of all staff members. It was simply perfect. This is definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed in and I can truly recommend it. We had a very memorable stay in Kyoto and hope to return to Higashiyama Shikikaboku soon.

My wife and I stayed at Shikikaboku when we were in Kyoto for a few days and we absolutely loved it. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were very nice (and felt very Japanese zen), and the daily happy hour free drink was much appreciated. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice, relaxing place to stay in a prime location.

If you can get a room here, grab it. The Shikikaboku is one of the most magical little hotels I've ever stayed in. The room was perfect, the rooftop bath was amazing and the location was incredibly convenient. Oh, and the service was top shelf. I've stayed in a lot of hotels, but this one is among the best.
