Staying at this hotel in Zermatt was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—just 500 meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality from the owners, Thor and Michele. They personally served the buffet breakfast every morning, which was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On my first day, I unfortunately missed breakfast, but as I was heading out around 10:45 am, they surprised me by reserving some food for me to enjoy before leaving. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that truly made me feel cared for. The room itself was immaculate and had everything I needed. The balcony offered a stunning mountain view, which was a perfect way to start and end each day. Thor and Michele went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. They remembered my name, attended to every need, and even took the time to explain the local attractions and recommend food options based on my preferences. I feel incredibly lucky to have secured two nights at this gem of a hotel, especially since it’s almost always fully booked. This was one of the most personal and heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Zermatt, staying here is an absolute must. Thank you, Thor and Michele, for making my trip so memorable!

L'hôtel est très confortable tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur, la chambre est grande et la vue est super belle. La nourriture du matin est de bonne qualité et la piscine est très confortable. Les adultes comme les enfants aiment cet hôtel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.

Propre et bien rangé, le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et délicieux, vous pouvez surtout presser votre propre jus. Des chemises de nuit et des chaussons jetables sont fournis. Il y a des vélos à louer.

For a truly memorable stay in Zermatt, look no further than the Traditional Julen Hotel. We travelled throughout Switzerland, and the view from our Matterhorn room was hands down the best we experienced. Waking up to that iconic peak every morning was simply breathtaking. The service at the Julen is impeccable. The staff is incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to meet every need we had, making us feel truly welcome. Speaking of needs, be sure to grab a bite at their downstairs restaurant. The food is excellent, though the space is a little on the cozy (some might say claustrophobic) side. Don't let that deter you, though - the culinary experience is well worth it. Overall, the Traditional Julen Hotel is a fantastic choice. Splurge on the Matterhorn room for an unforgettable view, and rest assured knowing you'll be taken care of by a truly exceptional team. Highly recommended!

Très bel hôtel au centre du village, accueil très agréable

Nous avons séjourné ici pour 3 nuits. La location est parfaite, à quelques pas de la gare. Notre chambre était sans spot et nous aimons la vue partielle Matterhorn. Le petit déjeuner était incroyablement ami et bienvenu. Tout est parfait. Je resterai certainement ici pour mon prochain voyage Zermatt.

Excellent ! Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits à l'hôtel Parnass. Nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue sur le Cervin. Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas pu le voir à cause du mauvais temps, les chutes de neige persistent.

Quatre d'entre nous ont séjourné pendant une nuit dans deux chambres à Alpenblick Superior pendant notre voyage en Suisse. La chambre a une vue magnifique sur le Matterhorn, et elle était très propre et calme, car elle n'est pas située près de la rue principale.

Decent location. Quite comfortable. 6-7 mins away from the train station. Quiet area. Nice cozy wooden place. Con: pillow was very thin and almost non-existent when lying on it. Walls are really thin and could hear the person in the next room snoring. Slight inconvenience with having the reception in the hotel next to it. No kettle or hair dryer in the room but you can ask for them from the reception.
