Staying at this hotel in Zermatt was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—just 500 meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality from the owners, Thor and Michele. They personally served the buffet breakfast every morning, which was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On my first day, I unfortunately missed breakfast, but as I was heading out around 10:45 am, they surprised me by reserving some food for me to enjoy before leaving. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that truly made me feel cared for. The room itself was immaculate and had everything I needed. The balcony offered a stunning mountain view, which was a perfect way to start and end each day. Thor and Michele went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. They remembered my name, attended to every need, and even took the time to explain the local attractions and recommend food options based on my preferences. I feel incredibly lucky to have secured two nights at this gem of a hotel, especially since it’s almost always fully booked. This was one of the most personal and heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Zermatt, staying here is an absolute must. Thank you, Thor and Michele, for making my trip so memorable!

L'hôtel est très confortable tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur, la chambre est grande et la vue est super belle. La nourriture du matin est de bonne qualité et la piscine est très confortable. Les adultes comme les enfants aiment cet hôtel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.

Propre et bien rangé, le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et délicieux, vous pouvez surtout presser votre propre jus. Des chemises de nuit et des chaussons jetables sont fournis. Il y a des vélos à louer.

We travelled throughout Switzerland, and the view from our Matterhorn room was hands down the best we experienced. Waking up to that iconic peak every morning was simply breathtaking. The service at the Julen is impeccable. The staff is incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to meet every need we had, making us feel truly welcome. Speaking of needs, be sure to grab a bite at their downstairs restaurant. The food is excellent, though the space is a little on the cozy (some might say claustrophobic) side. Don't let that deter you, though - the culinary experience is well worth it. Overall, the Traditional Julen Hotel is a fantastic choice. Splurge on the Matterhorn room for an unforgettable view, and rest assured knowing you'll be taken care of by a truly exceptional team. Highly recommended!

We had a truly unforgettable stay at this PERFECT Located Zermatt hotel—an ideal getaway for couples seeking romance and relaxation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with warm hospitality and personalized service. The room was cozy but dated, with breathtaking views of the Matterhorn right from our balcony—absolutely magical at sunrise and sunset. Its location was perfect—just a short walk to the village center and lifts, yet quiet enough for peaceful evenings. We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already planning our return. Highly recommend this hotel for couples seeking charm, comfort, and stunning alpine beauty. Psst: Minus the opposite land area with constant noise in the morning due from construction, it will be better.

Le seul désavantage est que, en raison de la distance, les options de manger sont limitées au restaurant de l'hôtel, mais la qualité le rend plus difficile. Bien-être et spa – 10/10 Le tube chaud extérieur avec vue sur le Matterhorn est une hauteur absolue! Il y a aussi une sauna et une baignoire à vapeur, parfaite après un jour de ski ou de marche. L'été : Incroyable trajectoire de marche avec accès direct à la Gornergratbahn pour des excursions faciles à des altitudes plus élevées.

Excellent ! Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits à l'hôtel Parnass. Nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue sur le Cervin. Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas pu le voir à cause du mauvais temps, les chutes de neige persistent.

L'hôtel est situé dans le meilleur emplacement accessible à pied depuis la gare principale de Zermatt, il est facile de trouver de la nourriture et des boissons, à proximité de la coopérative et l'hôtel dispose d'une belle terrasse devant laquelle vous pouvez vous asseoir pour que les gens regardent notre chambre avoir une belle vue sur lit confortable du Cervin.
