Les chambres de cet hôtel se trouvent au 25 e étage de la tour 85, emblématique de Kaohsiung. Cette tour peut surprendre parce qu'elle est en partie abandonnée, on peut être saisi par l'impression de vide que donne l'immense ”palier” au 12e étage comme un hall de gare. Mais ne vous laissez pas désarçonner par les apparences. L'accueil est très amical (réception au 12e), les chambres très confortables, très propres et la vue )de notre chambre en tout cas) est époustouflante (sur l'ensemble du port, la mer au loin). Les accessoires sont peut-être un peu vieillots et le bâtiment est en perte de vitesse, certes, mais grâce à cela on peut jouir de ce luxe (une très grande chambre tout confort au 25e étage d'une tour) pour un prix défiant toute concurrence. Je recommande chaudement !

La chambre était très propre, calme et confortable. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Idéalement situé à quelques pas de la station de MRT du centre commercial Sanduo et du 7Eleven. Les chambres d'angle offrent une belle vue depuis le 17e étage. Dommage que le typhon Kong-Rey soit passé ce jour-là. Je reviendrais volontiers ici lors de mon prochain séjour à Kaohsiung.

We recently stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a fantastic experience overall. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and processed our check-in with impressive efficiency. Our room was remarkably spacious and spotless, featuring a modern aesthetic and a bed that offered excellent sleep quality.
One of the major highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of fresh local and international options. The location is perfect for exploring the city center on foot, with several great cafes nearby. My only minor complaint was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in the evenings, but it didn’t detract from our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Calme près du marché nocturne de Liuhe et du célèbre magasin de petit-déjeuner de Xinglongju. Facile à trouver puisqu'il est situé sur la route principale. Les installations internes sont suffisantes pour qu’une famille puisse les utiliser. Un peu loin si vous marchez depuis la gare Formosa (ligne rouge). Les toilettes sont très propres et je les adore vraiment. La taille de la chambre correspond à son prix.

En outre, SOGO et POYA sont à d'autres sorties, qui est pratique. Le personnel est gentil et gentil. La chambre est propre et confortable.

YYipKennyBel hôtel ! Installé dans un endroit très pratique. À 5 minutes du marché nocturne de Duanfeng. Il y a FamilyMart à côté de l'hôtel et le café en face est également bon. Il faut 10 à 15 minutes à pied pour rejoindre la Kaohsiung Arena et le grand magasin Hanshin. L'hôtel est soigné et propre. Si vous êtes une famille de quatre personnes, vous pouvez disposer de deux lits queen. Petit déjeuner inclus. Un bon choix en effet. Le parc à côté est également un bon endroit pour la promenade et les loisirs. Vous pouvez vous rendre à la station de métro Arena à quelques pas.

During our trip to Kaohsiung, we decided to stay at PAPO’A Harbor Hotel, and it turned out to be a great choice for exploring the creative harbor district of the city.
The hotel is located just a short walk from Pier-2 Art Center, one of the most vibrant and artistic areas in Kaohsiung. The neighborhood is filled with street art, converted warehouses, cafés, and galleries, making it a perfect place to wander around both during the day and in the evening. Being able to walk back to the hotel after exploring the area was a big plus.
One of the things that makes PAPO’A Harbor Hotel unique is its character. The building used to be a harbor staff dormitory and has been thoughtfully renovated into a boutique hotel. The design blends industrial elements with modern minimal touches, giving the space a calm and slightly artistic atmosphere that fits perfectly with the surrounding Pier-2 district.
Our room was simple but very comfortable. The bed was cozy, the room was clean, and everything felt well maintained. While the hotel focuses more on design and location than luxury facilities, it provides everything you need for a pleasant stay. Some rooms even offer partial views of the harbor, which adds to the experience of staying in this port city.
Another great advantage is transportation. The Light Rail stop is only a few minutes away, making it easy to reach other parts of Kaohsiung such as Love River, Central Park, or connect to the MRT system.
Overall, PAPO’A Harbor Hotel is a lovely boutique stay for travelers who appreciate design, convenience, and a relaxed harbor atmosphere. It may not be a large luxury hotel, but its charm, location, and unique character make it a memorable place to stay in Kaohsiung.

DdkworksThe only good thing this hotel offers you is a stunning view of the Kaihsiung skyline, however cleanliness and staff could be improved. The hotel says it is a 5 star hotel, but in fact it only offers 3 star experience; hotel staff looks not welcoming, the rooms are quite outdated, the aircon cannot be switched for heat - it was super cold in the room and they turn the aircon for you before you check in - why? It is 15 degrees outside, why your aircon is at freezing mode?

Yym0303C'était un très bel hôtel. Les salles de douche et les toilettes étaient impeccables, et les sols séchaient rapidement, ce qui garantissait une bonne hygiène et évitait qu'ils ne collent. Il y avait des réceptionnistes différents pour le déjeuner et le dîner, mais ils étaient tous très aimables et serviables. Au deuxième étage, un chauffe-eau faisait également office de fontaine à eau, et nous avons pu emprunter un thermos. L'eau était un peu fraîche, ce qui était très pratique pour avoir de l'eau chaude pour le café. Le portail principal était fermé à minuit et s'ouvrait grâce à un badge attaché à la clé. J'ai trouvé que la sécurité avait été prise en compte.

CCrabisgood888Overall the hotel was very nice. It was modern. The check in staff was very helpful and at least one person on staff always spoke English. Note that the staff at breakfast were super cute older ladies and they don't speak English.
Pros: Modern design. Newer hotel. Large beds (stayed in a standard quad room). The twin bed rooms were also bigger and nice. The shower was really great. It was super high pressure. Bidet for the toilet. Big bathrooms. You can turn on the vent and dry clothes that you hang to dry. The 13th floor area is nice with snacks through the afternoon and evening and coffee. They provide free sparkling water and regular water for the rooms. Very well designed with great storage since there wasn't much floor space.
Cons: Location wasn't really next to many food areas. There's a Starbucks. You have to walk around 5-10 min, which is fine, but it's not the usual vibes you would imagine having in Taiwan. Unlike Taipei, the city is a sleepy town. A lot of businesses are just randomly closed during work hours and regular business days. There is a 7-11. The night market nearby is small. The breakfast needs a little help. After 2 days, it's the same food over and over. We were there for 7nights, so you can imagine it was a bit tiresome. I hope they can provide more variety. Even the soup only changed once. So 6 breakfasts it was miso soup. 1 breakfast was a corn soup (good, but never came back). Another major con is the hotel has no direct email address, so you can't contact them directly. I had to speak with the Leisure group hotels via FB messenger. They never responded via the Line App.
We chose this hotel because it's newer and had the room arrangements that we needed for our group (12 rooms). Big buses can wait outside for you. You can't make much noise in this hotel. We got warnings every day and that was just when we were hanging out in the lobby waiting for the elevator.
Overall the hotel was good value and great for a soccer team since we had the 13th floor for our team meetings and for hanging out at night.
