IInvitéExpérience exceptionnelle 👍👍👍👍👍 C'était mon premier séjour à l'hôtel Cambridge. J'ai été vraiment impressionné par l'accueil chaleureux. L'hôtel propose également un bar à dim sum ouvert 24h/24, avec notamment des glaces Du Lao Ye, et un snack ouvert tard le soir de 19h à 21h. Chaque plat semblait préparé avec soin par les chefs. Ils proposaient même des œufs au thé spéciaux commandés en ligne chez Auntie's, ainsi qu'un distributeur de bière pression Heineken, le tout gratuitement. Encore plus attentionnés, les chanteurs résidents pouvaient demander des chansons, ce qui était fantastique. 👍 J'ai également apprécié leur service attentionné, avec notamment des machines à laver et des sèche-linge avec lessive gratuits. (Le lit était très confortable.) C'est l'hôtel le plus convivial où j'aie jamais séjourné, et j'ai pu constater leur dévouement envers la direction. Je reviendrai sans hésiter à l'hôtel Cambridge. Un hôtel attentionné que je recommande vivement. 👍👍👍👍👍

Mémorable
Le Painter's Park offre un cadre exceptionnel. Les chambres sont spacieuses et donnent sur le canyon, et les installations de l'hôtel sont excellentes. La piscine est grande et les projections de films en plein air en soirée sont fantastiques. L'hôtel met à disposition des couvertures, ce qui est très appréciable. Le service est impeccable ; le personnel fait tout son possible pour répondre à tous les besoins. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le buffet de l'hôtel : sain et délicieux.

TTuticaThe hotel is located just in front of the bus station, really convenient when you wanto to travel by bus or by train as it is also closeby. The room size is really good, the breakfast too abd they even have bicycles to use for 4 hours for free. Recommended!

IInvitéUpdates: I had a great stay at Fullon Hotel Hualien. The room was spacious, comfortable, and has awesome view of the harbor. The location is ideal for me—close to the coast, at the start of the bike trail, and in a peaceful area. I loved being able to borrow a bike from the hotel, making it easy to explore the bike-friendly town.
The staff was friendly and attentive. Even those who didn’t speak English used Google Translate to communicate, which I appreciated. The only downside was difficulty reaching the hotel before my arrival to confirm the station pick-up, which wasn’t sorted out and confirmed until the day before I arrived.
Overall, a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel. Most likely will stay here again next time I'm in Hualien. Hopefully, I can reach them easier next time.

2025/01/13: Impossible to contact as a foreign visitor. I tried to send messages to the hotel via both email and LINE that were listed on their website since I don't live in TW. I tried to arrange for their pick up service from Hualien Station which is included with my stay. I have sent my inquiry for the details. I finally managed to get messages back one time via LINE after a day with a website that's not in English and a picture showing only a phone number for booking. At least the hotel didn't ask me to do international phone call and finally said I can request the booking with them via the LINE channel. So I sent the booking request with details. That was 3 days ago. And I have not received any message back or heard a peep from them. So I assume the service is still not booked.
Not that the free ride matters since I should be able to get a cab easily, but the service, especially what's promise and the helpfulness of the staff, is quite underwhelming and on the side of not hospitable.
For the same trip, I also had to reach out to Tango Hotel Taipei. They were very helpful with my inquiry and very fast.
Hopefully the stay is nice. I'll come back to update my review then.

IInvitéThis is a nice hotel. It is clean and welcoming. I did not try the food there. The seaview is not really worth as it is too far from the sea, but the rooms are a good size. The staff were friendly.
Just make sure you message the staff 24 hours in advance to book a free transfer. They would not provide a same day service.
Overall, a good hotel. About 3km from downtown. I did not mind walking, but taxis are cheap.

Très bel hôtel : très propre et bien situé pour se promener à pied (océan, night market, commerces et restaurants) Nous étions 5 et la chambre était parfaite et spacieuse avec 2 toilettes/douche/lavabo privés. Dommage que les grandes serviettes de toilette soient en location!

IInvitéLa chambre était spacieuse, confortable et propre. Le thème de la prison était amusant, et ils ont même une zone photo où vous pouvez poser en prison. La zone environnante est agréable, avec beaucoup de restaurants et boutiques à pied.

@@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
