Expérience exceptionnelle 👍👍👍👍👍 C'était mon premier séjour à l'hôtel Cambridge. J'ai été vraiment impressionné par l'accueil chaleureux. L'hôtel propose également un bar à dim sum ouvert 24h/24, avec notamment des glaces Du Lao Ye, et un snack ouvert tard le soir de 19h à 21h. Chaque plat semblait préparé avec soin par les chefs. Ils proposaient même des œufs au thé spéciaux commandés en ligne chez Auntie's, ainsi qu'un distributeur de bière pression Heineken, le tout gratuitement. Encore plus attentionnés, les chanteurs résidents pouvaient demander des chansons, ce qui était fantastique. 👍 J'ai également apprécié leur service attentionné, avec notamment des machines à laver et des sèche-linge avec lessive gratuits. (Le lit était très confortable.) C'est l'hôtel le plus convivial où j'aie jamais séjourné, et j'ai pu constater leur dévouement envers la direction. Je reviendrai sans hésiter à l'hôtel Cambridge. Un hôtel attentionné que je recommande vivement. 👍👍👍👍👍

A Scenic Stay with a Convenient Catch My stay at Hotelday Hualien was a bit of a mixed bag. It has some genuinely charming touches and a great view, but its location and certain amenities require some adjustment. Location & Transportation: The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the Hualien Train Station, which is fantastic if you're arriving by rail. However, I soon realized that the train station is not the city center. The main downtown area is a significant distance away—about a 40-minute walk. This means you'll either need to plan for long walks or rely on taxis and buses to get to the main dining and night market areas. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's something to be aware of. The Room: The room itself was a highlight. It was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The best feature was the large window that faced the train station, with a stunning backdrop of the mountains. It was incredibly scenic and made the room feel bright and open. While the room was comfortable, I did notice that the overall design and some of the furniture felt a bit dated. It's clean and functional, but don't expect a super modern aesthetic. Amenities & Service: This is where the experience was a bit uneven. The gym was quite disappointing. It only had a stationary bicycle and a treadmill. There were no weights, no multi-gym, nothing for anyone hoping for even a basic strength workout. It felt more like an afterthought than a proper facility. On the other hand, the service had some truly thoughtful highlights. When we asked for ice, the hotel staff kindly delivered some to our room, which was a nice touch. The Special Touch: The most memorable part of the stay was a small, heartwarming gesture. The hotel provided us with complimentary postcards. The unique part? They offered to mail them for us, but not right away. They will send them exactly one year later. It's a lovely idea—a little time capsule from your trip that arrives as a surprise in the future. Overall: Hotelday Hualien offers spacious, comfortable rooms with beautiful mountain views, and its proximity to the train station is a plus for travelers. The thoughtful service, like the ice delivery and the ”postcard to your future self” program, adds a warm, personal touch. However, the distance from the city center and the very basic gym are drawbacks. It's a solid choice for a comfortable night's sleep near the station, especially if you appreciate sentimental gestures, but be prepared for the travel time to the main attractions.

Le Painter's Park offre un cadre exceptionnel. Les chambres sont spacieuses et donnent sur le canyon, et les installations de l'hôtel sont excellentes. La piscine est grande et les projections de films en plein air en soirée sont fantastiques. L'hôtel met à disposition des couvertures, ce qui est très appréciable. Le service est impeccable ; le personnel fait tout son possible pour répondre à tous les besoins. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le buffet de l'hôtel : sain et délicieux.

Bien stratégique location Hôtel. La chambre est lumineuse. Mais la chambre est très pauvre. Même si j'ai demandé de nettoyer la chambre, la tante n'a pas nettoyé. Elle juste amenée le lit très rapidement et change de toile. Ne jamais vider le sol, la poussière et les cheveux sur le sol très évidemment. Donc ne vous attendez pas qu'elle vide le lit si vous demandez de changer la feuille de lit. J'ai eu des bugs de flea/ lit. J'ai pensé que mon eczéma flambait. Mais une fois que mes deux parents ont aussi connu le même. Et j'ai remarqué que la feuille de lit avait quelques points un peu. Alors oui, il est des bugs de lit. J'espère que la tante de garde-fous peut le faire mieux.

Positives: - like all lakeshore hotels in Taiwan, fantastic breakfast spread, especially incorporating local hualien food like gongzheng baos etc… - sauna with a sea view.. what else to ask for - children playroom - comfy rooms and excellent service all round by all staff - bath tub near the window where you can soak and see the sea - coin operated laundry room with washers and dryers (affordable plus only two each.. so may have to wait) - small snacks and beverages provided for guests daily on the ground floor Negatives: - only really gripes is the location.. about 2 km away from the city centre so not much to do in the neighbourhood - sea view room is actually the view of the port and a distance away… technically hotel is not wrong.. but should lower your own expectations

Updates: I had a great stay at Fullon Hotel Hualien. The room was spacious, comfortable, and has awesome view of the harbor. The location is ideal for me—close to the coast, at the start of the bike trail, and in a peaceful area. I loved being able to borrow a bike from the hotel, making it easy to explore the bike-friendly town. The staff was friendly and attentive. Even those who didn’t speak English used Google Translate to communicate, which I appreciated. The only downside was difficulty reaching the hotel before my arrival to confirm the station pick-up, which wasn’t sorted out and confirmed until the day before I arrived. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel. Most likely will stay here again next time I'm in Hualien. Hopefully, I can reach them easier next time. ==================== 2025/01/13: Impossible to contact as a foreign visitor. I tried to send messages to the hotel via both email and LINE that were listed on their website since I don't live in TW. I tried to arrange for their pick up service from Hualien Station which is included with my stay. I have sent my inquiry for the details. I finally managed to get messages back one time via LINE after a day with a website that's not in English and a picture showing only a phone number for booking. At least the hotel didn't ask me to do international phone call and finally said I can request the booking with them via the LINE channel. So I sent the booking request with details. That was 3 days ago. And I have not received any message back or heard a peep from them. So I assume the service is still not booked. Not that the free ride matters since I should be able to get a cab easily, but the service, especially what's promise and the helpfulness of the staff, is quite underwhelming and on the side of not hospitable. For the same trip, I also had to reach out to Tango Hotel Taipei. They were very helpful with my inquiry and very fast. Hopefully the stay is nice. I'll come back to update my review then.

Propre, spacieux et respectueux de l'environnement. Location de vélos gratuite et emplacement idéal. Personnel accueillant. On y trouve tout le nécessaire. Séjour très agréable.

Quiet place. May be inaccessible but easy to get taxi. The breakfast choices are good, soybean is extremely awesome! Different from what we had back home in Singapore.

Lors de mon voyage à Hualien, j'ai eu l'occasion unique de rester à l'auberge du Café de la prison de paix, et il a vraiment dépassé mes attentes. Les chambres étaient conçues pour ressembler aux cellules de prison, qui ajout un intéressant et inondable élément à mon séjour. L'une des choses qui m'a été rendue évidente était l'absence d'un bureau de réception traditionnel. La dame qui travaillait là était exceptionnellement utile et patiente, même s'il a pris le temps d'expliquer comment utiliser les installations en chinois. En tant que voyageur solitaire, je ne pouvais pas aider mais apprécier les vibrations de l'érythème que le lieu exode, surtout parce que je suis un fan de l'horreur. Il n'est pas souvent que vous traversez un auberge qui offre un environnement aussi unique et excitant. La chambre est très confortable et confortable. La location confortable de l'auberge était également un plus important, ce qui me permet d'explorer et de profiter de tout ce que Hualien a à offrir. En conclusion, si vous êtes un voyageur aventureux à la recherche d'une expérience de genre, je vous recommande vivement de vous rendre à l'Hôtel Peace Prison Cafe Inn. Les chambres thématiques de la prison, l'atmosphère de l'air ambiant et la position confortable sont idéales pour ceux qui cherchent à ajouter une tournée excitante à leur voyage.

It's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights. It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it. The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points. On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
