Mémorable
MMchia YIt’s a landed property with 3 floors. No lift, so either leave your heavy luggage downstairs or carry up on your own.
Smaller public space and kitchen but good enough to stay around.
The hostel is well managed with fans to air and dry out the space. 4 toilets and 3 showers for 4 bedrooms (around 28 beds I think). But if not all using the shower room or toilet at the same time. It’s just nice. Would be good if there’s 1 or 2 more hangers in the shower and toilet.
The room is clean and bed is comfortable.
Breakfast is included with simple white toast, one egg each and jam.
Although location is 20 mins bus to downtown, it’s close to train station to travel to other small town and convenient stop for 台湾好行. I had no issue as vegetarian as there are eateries around within 5-30 mins walking distance and convenient stores at station.
Receptionists are friendly and helpful. There are travel information available for last minute planning.
Free bike renting starts from 10am. There’s postal service too.

Une cuisine incroyable bref un endroit parfait 👍🏽 Chambre sympathique, on a de la place, c’est moderne et au calme. Seuls les transports à Taitung sont peu nombreux et les fréquences de passage beaucoup trop importantes

GGuest UserLa chambre était propre et bien rangée, avec une disposition confortable et agréable. Bien que les installations de loisirs ne soient pas particulièrement grandes, leur qualité était excellente. J'étais assez fatigué, je n'ai donc utilisé que la salle de sport, mais les tapis de course étaient très performants. Le petit-déjeuner était le point fort : le choix était vaste et tous les produits étaient de qualité supérieure. Une très bonne expérience.

IIrvineMom820Our stay at this hotel was a mixed experience, and overall, I wouldn't consider it worth the cost.
The hotel itself is old, and the facilities feel very dated. While it boasts a large swimming pool and spa areas, they were unusable during our stay as they were running with cold water. We didn’t see anyone using them. The “beauty pool,” which was advertised as having heated water, was disappointing due to a strong sewer-like smell. Additionally, the sauna is not complimentary for hotel guests, which felt unreasonable.
The dining experience was also underwhelming. The à la carte food in the restaurant was below average in quality, the portions were small, and the prices were high. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, though it felt odd being the only customers at 8 p.m. On a brighter note, the breakfast was excellent. I would rate it four stars for its variety of local and aboriginal food, which was a highlight of the stay.
The timing of activities for kids was inconvenient as well. While kids could play pool and ping pong for free in the evening (after we arrived at 7 p.m.), all other activities were scheduled for late morning or early afternoon, after checkout time.
The hotel’s location is another drawback. It is far from restaurants and busy areas, making it necessary to have a car or take a taxi.
The one positive aspect of our stay was the room. We booked the premium family room/suite, which provided separate sleeping areas for parents and kids—a feature we appreciated. However, this came at a premium price, costing 25% more. I had requested a room with a view, and the front desk clerk was accommodating, which I appreciated.
Overall, while the room and breakfast were nice, the rest of the experience didn’t justify the cost or the inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to the facilities and services.

TTobias TI recently had the opportunity to stay at ”It's Mine Hostel” in Taidong, and overall, I found it to be an okay accommodation option. Here are my thoughts on various aspects of the hostel:
Atmosphere and Policies
Upon arrival, one of the notable aspects of the hostel was the requirement to remove shoes before entering. Although this might inconvenience some guests, it does contribute to maintaining cleanliness throughout the premises. The hostel has a modest, laid-back atmosphere, which can be suitable for travelers seeking a relaxed environment.
Room
Unfortunately, I found the room to be a bit claustrophobic. The limited space made it challenging to move around comfortably. However, considering the price, it was within the acceptable range. The room was clean and tidy, which was a positive point.
Service
One aspect that could be improved is the level of service provided. The staff offered minimal assistance during my stay, which led to a lack of personal touch. Despite this, it's worth noting that the basic amenities and necessities were provided.
Pricing
Considering the reasonable price offered by ”It's Mine Hostel,” it is essential to manage expectations accordingly. While some aspects may not be perfect, the affordability of the accommodation must be taken into account when evaluating the overall value.
In conclusion, ”It's Mine Hostel” in Taidong is an okay option for travelers on a budget. It is worth noting that the hostel has a relaxed atmosphere. it provides basic amenities and cleanliness. If you're willing to overlook some limitations, ”It's Mine Hostel” can be a decent choice for your stay in Taidong.

XxanperiI have mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and they deserve to be praised, but there is a clear problem in how the hotel is managed.
First of all, an hotel that large, with just one elevator. That is just nuts. Each time we needed to use it, it was at least 5-10 minutes wait, if not more. Also the hotel is clearly understaffed. For breakfast, one of the days there were more than 100 people in the room, with just 1 person to check-in people. The line was just unbearable.
It seems the rooms were renovated not that long ago, but it was clearly a faulty renovation. The isolation is poor to non existent given the rain sounds makes it difficult to sleep. And don't get me started with the air isolation, which it directly none. If the wind blows, a breeze flows into the room, causing the curtains to make noise all day long.
To be fair also, the location is convenient, just across the street from the bus station, so taking transportation to/from the train station, or along the amazing east coast was easy and quick.
All in all, not an awful stay, but I am sure there are better options in the same price range with better overall quality.

GGuest UserAprès le tremblement de terre de Hualien en 2024, j'avais toujours prévu de partir vers l'est comme prévu. Comme j'étais à Taitung il n'y a pas longtemps, je comptais partir pour Hualien tôt demain matin après seulement un court séjour, j'ai donc séjourné dans un B&B à proximité. Gare de Taïtung. J'ai choisi cet hôtel de style H& Island Light. Dans l'ensemble, c'était plutôt bien. Même si la chambre n'était pas très propre et que l'isolation phonique était meilleure que prévu, je ne sais pas si les autres clients étaient très calmes, mais à part les gens à l'intérieur. couloir, il n’y avait vraiment rien d’autre à entendre que les voix des autres. Cependant, ce n'est pas sans défauts, notamment en ce qui concerne les prises. Il n'y a pas beaucoup de prises disponibles dans la pièce et l'emplacement principal est bizarre. Un groupe était derrière les chaises et l'autre groupe a mis beaucoup de temps à les trouver. Je pensais qu'il n'y avait que deux prises dans la pièce, mais il s'est avéré... derrière l'oreiller. L'oreiller nord le recouvre, et si vous voulez l'utiliser, votre tête le heurtera directement. Ce n'est pas idéal, mais sinon. c'est d'accord.

IInvitéLe service du personnel de la Taipei est très bon. Comme la relation de rénovation m'a aidé à améliorer la chambre, il y a habituellement 1F une machine à café pour les touristes à prendre. Si vous avez besoin de petit déjeuner avec 100 yuan à 10F, la cuisine est très pratique pour manger avec aide. Il est très proche du marché de la nuit de visite. Vous pouvez choisir cette maison à Taipei le prochain retour.
