Hôtels près de Station MRT Ecological District, Kaohsiung

Great location less than 20 minutes from KHH airport. It is within 8 minutes walking distance from SOGO for those who love to shop department stores. There are 7-11s ( more than one!) Family Marts and a PX Mart (grocery store) along each road. Very convenient. The drinks at 7-11 will be cheaper priced than Family Mart and PX Mart and sometimes they will have a BOGO on select items ( I got an extra baby wipe pack by sheer luck). The Family Mart will have more unique items (ex Kombucha, health teas etc). The food selection for both places will be a bit limited for grab and go eats. Think sweet pastries and snacks. They do have some sandwiches but not super healthy if you are vegetarian. The hotel has complementary breakfast that starts at 6:30am ends at 10am. It is a buffet the fills up the entire room. There is a wonderful mix of local foods, one Western style pot. There is a small salad bar, fruit bar, coffee/tea and a small short order cook that will fry up 4 items (eggs, scallion onion omelette, turnip cakes). There is an other side has at least 10 varieties of local foods. The quality is great! Not too oily, 2 congee pots ( regular and Hong Kong Style). Fruits include what is season (Guava, apples, watermelon) and oranges, bananas. I will warn you about the late night snack (Dim Sum) buffet. Located on same floor and it starts at 7pm. That is a busy mad house. The line to queue up starts earlier and it will go down the hall to the stairwell. Lots of tour buses come to this location and tour groups will flood in each week during season. I went during early April for 9 days. I would go to breakfast at 8 am and skipped the nighttime crush. Restaurants are readily available all around and very affordable. This hotel comes with complimentary laundry DIY and laundry powder soap. Make sure you write your room number on the dry erase placard and stick it on each machine you use. Otherwise another guest may accidentally throw their items in and use the machine. The dryers are on top so hard to see what’s on the bottom. There is a free lounge in the lobby that has complimentary ice cream, coffee/tea and jasmine flavored gelatin cups. You can sit there all day if you like and sip on a free espresso or other drink. This hotel comes with a lot of amenities at a reasonable rate— I will stay here again next time.

Nous avons passé un super séjour. L’hôtel est vraiment à la hauteur du standing qu’il propose. La chambre était super et propre. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et variés. La piscine, le sauna, et le hammam étaient supers. Le personnel était aux petits soins. Je recommande vivement. 

L'emplacement est très bon. Il est juste à côté de la gare. Il y a de nombreux restaurants à proximité, ce qui est pratique pour manger au restaurant. Le centre commercial n'est pas loin, il est donc très pratique d'acheter quoi que ce soit.

Proche de la station Zuoying, vraiment très pratique ! C’est propre et le buffet nous était offert, ce qui est vraiment appréciable ! Je recommande ☺️

Everything was good during my stay in this hotel. The lighting of the room was a bit too dim for me, but it wasn't a problem during the day as there was plenty of sunlight from the window. What I like about is that they put a coffee table and an armchair by the window, making it quite enjoyable to do some reading during the day. The location is a okay, around 10-15 minutes walk from the closest MRT station. The way to the station was clear and had a variety of local shops to explore.

Les chambres de cet hôtel se trouvent au 25 e étage de la tour 85, emblématique de Kaohsiung. Cette tour peut surprendre parce qu'elle est en partie abandonnée, on peut être saisi par l'impression de vide que donne l'immense ”palier” au 12e étage comme un hall de gare. Mais ne vous laissez pas désarçonner par les apparences. L'accueil est très amical (réception au 12e), les chambres très confortables, très propres et la vue )de notre chambre en tout cas) est époustouflante (sur l'ensemble du port, la mer au loin). Les accessoires sont peut-être un peu vieillots et le bâtiment est en perte de vitesse, certes, mais grâce à cela on peut jouir de ce luxe (une très grande chambre tout confort au 25e étage d'une tour) pour un prix défiant toute concurrence. Je recommande chaudement !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'hôtel Riverside ! Malgré notre arrivée tardive, le personnel était vraiment sympathique et nous a aidés à nous enregistrer rapidement, ce qui nous a permis de dormir un peu avant de partir tôt le lendemain matin. Le plus marquant, c'est la gentillesse et la serviabilité de tous. De plus, nous avons été agréablement surpris par le service de navette aller-retour pour l'aéroport. Cela a grandement facilité et rendu notre voyage plus confortable. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à tous ceux qui recherchent un hébergement agréable.

Overall the hotel was very nice. It was modern. The check in staff was very helpful and at least one person on staff always spoke English. Note that the staff at breakfast were super cute older ladies and they don't speak English. Pros: Modern design. Newer hotel. Large beds (stayed in a standard quad room). The twin bed rooms were also bigger and nice. The shower was really great. It was super high pressure. Bidet for the toilet. Big bathrooms. You can turn on the vent and dry clothes that you hang to dry. The 13th floor area is nice with snacks through the afternoon and evening and coffee. They provide free sparkling water and regular water for the rooms. Very well designed with great storage since there wasn't much floor space. Cons: Location wasn't really next to many food areas. There's a Starbucks. You have to walk around 5-10 min, which is fine, but it's not the usual vibes you would imagine having in Taiwan. Unlike Taipei, the city is a sleepy town. A lot of businesses are just randomly closed during work hours and regular business days. There is a 7-11. The night market nearby is small. The breakfast needs a little help. After 2 days, it's the same food over and over. We were there for 7nights, so you can imagine it was a bit tiresome. I hope they can provide more variety. Even the soup only changed once. So 6 breakfasts it was miso soup. 1 breakfast was a corn soup (good, but never came back). Another major con is the hotel has no direct email address, so you can't contact them directly. I had to speak with the Leisure group hotels via FB messenger. They never responded via the Line App. We chose this hotel because it's newer and had the room arrangements that we needed for our group (12 rooms). Big buses can wait outside for you. You can't make much noise in this hotel. We got warnings every day and that was just when we were hanging out in the lobby waiting for the elevator. Overall the hotel was good value and great for a soccer team since we had the 13th floor for our team meetings and for hanging out at night.

Nous avons séjourné au dernier étage et il y a un joli balcon d'où l'on peut admirer la vue sur la rivière. Endroit agréable et convivial.
