Excellent
IInvitéStayed for two nights.
Had some issue with our hotel room key. The staff were very proactive trying to resolve the issue, but it was only till the 2nd day of our stay that was resolved.
There was no compensation for the incovenience caused as we only had 1 phisical key for 4 ppl.
Having said that, the rest of the service was very nice, would be happy to go back again.

IInvitéI liked the retro decor of the hotel which extended to the rooms and also the facilities. The library and communal kitchen on the 8th floor were also very nice. There is even complimentary coffee at the kitchen for guests which was nice. Staff at the front desk were all helpful and friendly. They were able to complete the check in and check out procedures efficiently.
There are however some points which I felt I didn’t really like with regards to the placement of furniture in the room. I booked the twin bed room (2 beds) and one of the beds did not have any side tables. I felt that this was inconvenient for me as I like to place my spectacles at my bedside but not on the bed itself as I was afraid of squashing them when I sleep. I ended up using my luggage as a side table. The other thing is the lack of any hooks to hang a towel or clothes in the bathroom. The only hooks available in the room were outside in the room. I found this a bit inconvenient.

TTraboldUn séjour relaxant et confortable en couple
Nous avons passé deux nuits au Grand Banyan Hôtel à Tainan et avons été ravis de notre expérience. La chambre était spacieuse, très propre et parfaitement insonorisée, ce qui nous a permis de bien nous reposer. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la piscine extérieure, idéale pour se détendre à deux après une journée de visite.
Nous avons également dîné sur place : c’était pratique et agréable de ne pas avoir à ressortir le soir. Le personnel était attentionné et l’ambiance générale de l’hôtel très paisible. L’emplacement est aussi un bon point : calme, mais proche du centre-ville.
Un excellent choix pour un séjour en couple à Tainan. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Ppathfinder1We had a great stay at Kindness Day Hotel! It’s small but sleek and modern, with a cozy vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially for us English speakers, which made everything so easy.
The lounge with unlimited coffee and cookies was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. You get a free drink ticket each night for beer or juice, which is a nice perk. Just be sure to use them the same day as they expire. We didn’t get a chance to use ours!
The breakfast buffet was decent, not amazing, but still a nice option to have. With a bus stop and bike station right outside and plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, it’s a super convenient and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommend!

Mais les toilettes ont eu des problèmes et ils n'ont pas eu personne à réparer le week-end, ils ont dû attendre des jours de semaine.
Nous avons finalement vérifié avant qu'ils puissent réparer le système de décharge.

TtweenyfishThe room was spacious with places to put our luggages. The bed was oddly off centered but that created space for the luggage :) There were international electrical sockets so I didnt have to use my adaptor.
The toilet has an odd configuration. Instead of a shower curtain, u get a ”toilet seat curtain” that u are supposed to pull to keep it dry when showering (water still gets splashed on it if it is not pulled well). The most inconvenient part of the room was the lack of a dry area to wear clothes after showering. Water pressure and temperature are great.
Location wise, the hotel is very near the western market, shen nong street. We were also able to walk back from the Tainan TRA station when the buses had ended at night. There is a free shuttle bus to the THSR Tainan station which stops about 3mins walk from the hotel. We only discovered this on check out, so good to enquire with the hotel before checking in.
The staff were generally friendly, when asked, they gave some suggestions about where to eat nearby. They look slightly unsure, possibly because it was ***** new year period. They were also helpful in booking taxi, massage and sending up additional clothes hangers. I did converse in mandarin though.
We can get bedroom slippers and bottled water for free at the lobby, so that was very nice.

국국수수La propreté était correcte.
L'appartement était ancien et avait été nettoyé sommairement. Malgré le nettoyage, on pouvait encore voir des déchets et de la poussière de la veille.
Il n'y avait pas de fenêtres, mais la chambre était spacieuse et convenable. Le rapport qualité-prix était excellent.
L'hôtel se situe à environ 15 minutes à pied de la gare de Tainan. On peut aussi prendre le bus, mais le trajet dure également environ 15 minutes. S'il faut attendre le bus, autant marcher.
La laverie ferme à 22h et il n'y a que deux machines à laver ; il faut donc faire vite.
Je suis satisfait.
