« Good location- easy to find and close to the train station. We drove so used the car park in front of the hotel where there is a discount for staying at the hotel just let reception know you are parked there - is a set fee for 24hrs.
Rooms were clean and quite basic but sufficient for what we needed - downside no fridge to chill your drinks. There is a kettle to make hot drinks and room has tv which is good.
Ordered the breakfast which was lovely - options to have cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, pastries and a full English with coffee/tea and juice.
Restaurant overlooks the river which was nice as we could see the ducks and swans
Hotel has a bar which was nice to have a few drinks in the evening when we arrived
Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful - would definitely go back if we needed to stay in Nottingham again
Price was good value for money! »

« The receptionist, I think is name was Luke.
He went above and beyond for us, his customer service was excellent and couldn’t do anymore to help and ensure our stay was the best we could have! Thank you!
Only think that wasn’t 5/5 was the amenities in the room - most were empty. But that’s looking for a fault.
Great location
Lovely hotel
Some rooms are a little dated but clean.
Would return and would recommend. »

IInvitéWasn't impressed at all with the room I was given as it was designed for a physically disabled person which I'm not. There were a few issues with the bathroom.
I left the room earlier than anticipated due to feeling uncomfortable. I explained my stay at reception where I was told you will receive a email from management, I didn't receive anything.

LLidiia KWell the hotel is alright, staff are very friendly, location is very good.
Spa didn’t seem nice so we wouldn’t go.
Our standard room was very small, though cozy.
AC wasn’t working, luckily got a heater from the reception.
Breakfast was tasty, but raw vegetables were absent (except for slightly cooked tomatoes).
It was noisy in the hotel, many people, but everyone was there for the New Year eve.
Parking is paid and costs 12 pounds a day - madness!

PPrxncesshiThis was my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, I really enjoyed my experience. It’s not often that you find somewhere that offers such good value for money while also being clean, comfortable and convenient, but this hotel definitely ticks those boxes.
The price was one of the biggest positives for me. I believe I paid around £40 for the night, which I thought was extremely affordable considering the quality and facilities provided. For anyone looking for somewhere reasonably priced without having to compromise too much on comfort or cleanliness, I would definitely recommend considering this place.
What I particularly like about the hotel is that it has more of an apartment-style feel, which makes the stay much more convenient than a standard hotel room. Having access to facilities where you can heat up food is a great bonus, especially if you arrive late or have bought something to eat and don’t want to go back out. It gives you that extra bit of flexibility and makes the room feel more practical and homely.
The room and the hotel were also very spotless and well maintained, which is extremely important to me when staying somewhere. Everything felt clean and looked after, and overall I had a very comfortable stay.
The staff were another highlight. We actually decided at the last minute that we wanted to extend our stay, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. They were able to let us extend our time, with the option to increase the stay by the hour, which was incredibly convenient. It’s these little things that make a big difference, especially when plans change unexpectedly. The staff were friendly, helpful and understanding throughout.
The location is also not bad at all. You can walk into town, which is really useful if you want to explore the area without relying on transport. There is also easy access to trams, making it convenient to get around if you don’t want to walk everywhere.
Another thing I liked about the location is the amount of takeaways and local shops nearby. There are plenty of places within walking distance, including options that are convenient if you arrive late at night and want to grab something to eat without travelling far. Having local shops and food options nearby makes the hotel even more convenient
Overall, I was really pleased with my second stay here. For around £40 a night, I feel it offers excellent value for money, especially with the cleanliness, apartment-style facilities, helpful staff, convenient location and nearby food options. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, clean and practical place to stay.
