Another great stay at the Apex Bath hotel. The gym and pool were great and the service was great. I look forward to staying there again.

The hotel lobby and breakfast were both very nice. However, we experienced some issues with our room. The double bed was quite small, and the room we were initially assigned did not match the photos shown when booking. When we raised our concerns, the staff did their best to accommodate us, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the process took quite a long time and involved multiple room changes. The final room we were assigned was much better and met our expectations. Had we been given that room from the beginning, our overall experience would have been significantly more positive. It seemed that some rooms have been renovated and are much newer, while others are older and less reflective of the images advertised online.

Dans l'ensemble, notre séjour a été tout simplement parfait. L'hôtel bénéficie d'un emplacement idéal et d'un grand parking. À seulement 15 £ par 24 heures, nous avons trouvé le rapport qualité-prix excellent. L'hôtel est situé sur une colline, mais les bus passent fréquemment juste devant. Notre chambre était spacieuse et propre, avec tout le confort nécessaire. Le petit-déjeuner était fantastique et très varié. Il nous a permis de bien commencer la journée. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter.

Everything was amazing, we only have the following comment: we booked city view room, but we got upper ground floor room, with inner view, matted windows and windows could not be opened, and in the morning you could feel the breakfast smell. Overall the hotel is still amazing, clean, nice staff, good breakfast, amazing location and we would chose it again.

J'avais de grandes attentes concernant mon séjour et il a été complètement réalisé et j'ai été impressionné. Dans l'ensemble, l'accueil et l'ambiance étaient parfaits, professionnels et sincères. Notre chambre, suite junior après surclassement avec frais supplémentaires, était de taille raisonnable bien que la salle de bain avec la disposition de la porte rende difficile et légèrement dangereuse l'entrée / la fermeture derrière l'invité. Le village thermal était occupé mais compréhensible ; il semblait propre et très moderne dans l'ensemble, donc il y avait moins de soucis d'hygiène, ce qui est entendu comme pouvant être difficile à maintenir. La salle du petit-déjeuner, les choix et le service étaient bien comme prévu, cela vaut donc la peine de s'inscrire. Bien que le deuxième jour, il était difficile d'imaginer prendre un autre petit-déjeuner, il serait donc possible de prendre un petit-déjeuner pour une journée en option. J'aurais aimé avoir une lotion pour le corps dans la salle de bain car je devais compter sur celle disponible dans le village thermal… et avec un séjour de 2 nuits, les articles de toilette n'étaient pas réapprovisionnés… Toujours un bon accueil lorsque les boissons gazeuses/mini bar sont gratuites ; bien que remplir un réfrigérateur ne coûte pas cher, de petits gestes comme ceux-ci permettent aux clients de se sentir plus accueillis Merci pour un excellent séjour; J'aimerais emmener ma mère de 80 ans ici dans le futur car elle l'apprécierait énormément !!

L'hôtel est un bâtiment incroyable qui doit prendre quelques entretiens. Nous avons réservé une chambre double pour une nuit et nous sommes arrivés à l'heure du déjeuner avec l'intention de visiter le bain pendant quelques jours. Le contrôle en cours (après 15 heures) était très facile et nous disposions d'une chambre très propre avec beaucoup de serviettes, 2 robes et des pantalons pour le spa/la piscine. La chambre double avait un lit de taille royale qui était très confortable. La piscine de l'hôtel était pleine et semblait un peu fatiguée, mais comme prévu. Nous n'avons pas eu de traitements spa ou d'utilisation de l'équipe de gym, mais les deux étaient bien gardés et l'équipe de gym avait de bons équipements modernes. Nous n'avons pas mangé dans le restaurant, mais nous avons préféré trouver un restaurant dans le bain. Le petit déjeuner était un peu chaotique avec plusieurs employés de l'hôtel qui faisaient des tâches différentes sans coordination apparente. Le petit déjeuner a pris bien plus d'une heure, ce qui est pauvre. Le petit garçon avec son papier était un peu inutile. Le petit déjeuner «full English» est arrivé à la table de nourriture bien cuite, mais pas vraiment comme le décrit dans le menu. Nous n'avons pas servi de toasts ni et nous avons dû demander à la demande, à la différence des autres tables qui l'ont reçu avec leur ordre de boissons qui semblait un peu bizarre. Le buffet continental était un peu rare sans boeufs ni éponges, nous avons donc dû utiliser nos verres de jus de fruits pour le yogurt et les fruits. Tout pourrait être amélioré avec un petit-déjeuner buffet sous une plaque chaude si elles n'ont pas assez de personnel pour le servir.

The hotel all in all is very good. Clean, polite staff and location is perfect. Parking will have to be in the public parking around the corner which is about £20 for a day. Online it said the hotel offers halal food but once we got there they said they aren't sure they do it. The staff also informed us that we wouldn't be able to eat at the restaurant that day because they were booked for a function, but we feel this should've been communicated beforehand by email etc. Other than this I think this hotel is the best in the area and is very classy and welcoming.

Des installations et un emplacement de l'hôtel idéaux pour notre voyage, le petit-déjeuner était délicieux et le personnel ne pouvait pas être plus attentionné.

Attended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109. I am highly disappointed with our recent stay. We paid a premium price and the room we were given looked absolutely nothing like the bright, spacious photos advertised on their website. Our room was significantly smaller and darker. It also felt dated and rundown. To make matters worse, instead of any kind of decent view, our window looked directly out onto what appeared to be a backyard storage area filled with junk. It was depressing and certainly not what we shelled out a lot of money for. On the functional side, the room was poorly maintained. The towel rail didn't work, and the bathroom extractor fan was broken, which made the small bathroom space feel even more cramped and humid. The reception staff though was very friendly and helpful.
