IInvitéI recently stayed at Sheraton Johor Bahru and would like to share my experience.
First of all, the hotel staff were very polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, which made us feel welcomed and comfortable.
However, there are a few areas that need improvement. The room did not have a “Make Up Room” or housekeeping sign/button, so the staff had no way of knowing that we wanted the room cleaned while we were out for several hours. When we returned, we expected the room to have been cleaned, but unfortunately it was not done. We called housekeeping three times and had to wait nearly one hour before staff came to clean the room.
Lastly, I had an unpleasant experience during breakfast. I ordered a hard-boiled egg, but it was overcooked and had black spots on the yolk, which was disappointing.
Overall, the staff service was good, but I hope the hotel can improve its housekeeping communication system and breakfast quality.

Personnel chaleureux et accueillant. Service rapide. Possibilité de choisir ses oreillers. Chambre spacieuse avec belle vue. Salle de bain grande et sans odeur désagréable, serviettes propres et fraîches. Bonne pression et eau chaude sous la douche ! 👍👍 Climatisation réglable, contrairement à certains hôtels où le thermostat est fixe. J'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour et je reviendrai sans hésiter. 😁

OOHOH1717I am very grateful to St Giles for accommodating to mh request for more vegan friendly food on Vesak Day so that I could also enjoy my breakfast happily. I’m so surprised that they really prepared a variety of vegan friendly food. St Giles is always my favourite choice for hotel stay. It’s feels safe with the security around and being linked to a mall it is so convenient, you can buy and eat anything at Mid Valley Southkey mall. Yesterday I saw more interesting F&B in the mall. Unfortunately although I request for a room with a good sunrise view, the window was dirty and the dressing table was not clean too, could see spots on it. Amenities wise, I think it is better now with shampoo and body wash installed. The fragrance in the room and the music from the TV were soothing. Thank you St Giles for another wonderful stay!

IInvitéLes 3 chambres avec 2 salles de bains sont spacieuses et ont une bonne vue.
La porte de douche de la douche commune ne peut être fermée complètement en raison de la surface extérieure très humide.
Beaucoup d'installations sont disponibles mais seulement utilisées le gym n it's spacious n well equipped.
L'établissement est confortable avec un supermarché et de nombreuses options alimentaires.

IInvitéRésidence spatiale, qui est restée quelques fois, mais cette unité #30-08 a le meilleur layout, face et meuble par le long.
L'activation des ascenseurs nécessite une finesse.
En tant que nouveau développement, nous avons rencontré le bruit de la rénovation pendant notre séjour, mais cela était dans les attentes.
Nous réserverons cette unité à nouveau quand nous visiterons JB.

TTentenAmaiodinThe unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed is bouncy and we slept well. The place also comes with useful amenities like a fridge, electric stove, oven, iron and hair dryer. However, there is no water dispenser or water filter provided. Basic utensils such as plates, spoons and bread knives are available, but there are no forks, bowls or other cooking tools, so you may need to bring your own or purchase separately if you plan to cook.
The downside was the check-in experience. We were only given the access card without the bedroom key, and ended up stuck outside for almost an hour trying to figure out how to enter. The owner’s response was quite late, which made the situation frustrating. The TV in the room was also not functioning. On the positive side, the owner did allow a late check-out at 1pm.
Overall, the stay was comfortable after settling in, but the initial access issue and late response affected the first impression.

JJust a casual travelerI was there for 3 nights, booking 2 rooms with queen size bed.
It was a less than satisfactory experience. I specifically requested for rooms away from elevators but they gave me 2 rooms that are right next to their employee elevator. So it means, the elevator is in between of the 2 rooms that I booked for my parents and I. No doubt, the employee elevator meant less activity but it's still next to the elevator where ppl could easily come up and down.
Secondly, we were unable to get the key card to open the door to the corner room that is for my parents. Took 1 trip down to concierge to inform them about the problem. They programmed the key card again and problem still exists. Only after I told them to relocate my parents to a different floor that they mentioned that the battery in the scanner of the door ran out so they have to get technician to change them. So, that left a bad impression from the getgo.
Thirdly, once we got on that floor, it smelled bad. I had to get housekeeping to spray air-freshener to get rid of the smell. I believe it from the drainage, where if water wasn't used or flushed down, it can start to smell. So my question was, how long was the room toilets not cleaned or flushed? If the rooms were occupied, surely it shouldn't smell.
Fourth, the pool was not what is expected of a hotel pool. Even a boutique hotel pool look better than that. But I don't care too much about pools as I am looking for good place to rest after spending a lot of time sightseeing when I'm traveling.
Fifth, noise insulation wasn't good. I could hear the guest in the next room snoring from my room. Let alone if the guest spoke loudly, I could hear.
The staff were polite and kind for the most part. One or 2 staff may not know certain things but they are probably new to the job and are on training. Not a big matter.
It is situated in a good location. It is 20-25 mins away from Johor city square. It is in a nice suburban neighbourhood, but within a commercial round area with a park in the middle. There is even a big Aeon Mall right opposite the hotel. Traffic isn't bad going into that area.
If you're looking to spend a lot of time in the room during your travel, this is not the one for you. If you want a comfortable room to rest for the night, this is good enough.

BBoobarnikFor a group of 5, (four adults 1 child) on the way to Singapore, this place is a perfect place for us to stop before closing the border, it's about 4.5 km. from JB central.
The unit is clean and decorate nicely, and our room has view to a city and express way, which at night can enjoy watching the light of vehicles on the way. The draw back to that is the noise when we want to sleep, this does not has any effect on us.
Also the living rooms is perfect for relaxing or for discussing plan for the next days or enjoying board or card game with your group.
The parking and our room is in different tower but this is not an issue as tower A and B is very close.
There is a street food near by which open late at night, so very convenient for us as we arrived in the evening.
The self check-in process is really smooth, you can communicate in advance with the host via whatsapp.
Unfortunately, on the day we arrived, the pool is closed, so we didn't try that.
Next time I visit Johor, I would definitely consider this place.
