MM_PorschaI stayed at Boulcott Suites for three nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent — plenty of eateries nearby (many Asian options), a New World supermarket just around the corner, and Cuba Street all within walking distance. For those driving, private parking is available at NZD 29 per night, though it does need to be booked in advance by calling ahead.
The room itself was well-equipped, with nearly everything listed on their website provided. Amenities included tea, coffee, hot chocolate, an infusion tea selection, a coffee machine, kettle, washing machine, clothing rack, clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and a hair dryer. There’s also a convenient kitchenette with a stove and full set of utilities if you’d like to prepare meals. Do note that some basics like a toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap, and bottled water aren’t supplied. I just drank the tap water, which seemed perfectly fine.
On the downside, I felt the room was a little dusty, which took away slightly from the otherwise good presentation. I had also requested a baby cot during booking and was told it would be included, but it never arrived in the room. It wasn’t a big issue for me personally since the bed was large enough to co-sleep with my baby, but it’s worth mentioning for others who might rely on that service.
All in all, Boulcott Suites is a convenient and comfortable choice in the heart of Wellington, with great amenities and an ideal location. With a little more attention to detail on housekeeping and guest requests, it would be close to perfect.

IInvitéLe petit déjeuner est supérieur à l'attente, c'est la forme de la cuisine, la cuisine occidentale authentique, l'environnement de la cuisine est bon, c'est juste au bord de la mer. Le lit est également confortable et la réception est très confortable.

EExploring our one precious worldStayed one night at James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor for a conference held onsite.
Check-in staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel has three separate lift banks servicing different areas — if you’re unfamiliar with Wellington, definitely ask staff to explain the easiest exit route to the city. It makes a big difference.
Breakfast was a very large buffet with plenty of options, though I’ve experienced better quality elsewhere.
The hotel itself is older but has solid bones. Perfectly adequate for a work overnight stay. For personal travel I’d probably choose somewhere with more atmosphere, however it felt safe and comfortable.
One odd feature: some rooms face an internal terrace/window area — remember to close your curtains as people can see straight in.
Bed was clean and well made, the room was tidy, though the carpet is showing its age. The shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water — a highlight.
Overall: reliable, practical conference accommodation rather than a destination stay.

YYaatoh;)Je voulais rester quelque part près du transport public. La gare principale est juste un jet de pierre. Il est près de la fin de Lambton Quay - le principal train à Wellington. Pour mes amis qui vivent dans les sous-urbes extérieures de Wellington, cet hôtel est proche de la autoroute et un accès facile à me collecter.
La chambre est très propre et spacieuse et il y a une cuisine avec four et micro-ondes pour chauffer/boîter.
La salle de bains est énorme et dispose d'une douche accessible qui est très impressionnante.

I have arrived past the check-in period and still managed to check-in through the help of Dinah😊, even left some fresh milk in the fridge. I really appreciate it coz I was so hungry and tired after a long bus journey😊.
I also loved the bed, it aids with my sore body after a 12hr bus journey.

刘刘La position de l'hôtel est très bonne, au centre de la ville de Wellington, le parking est au niveau supérieur, il faut monter une élévation, le coût de stationnement est de 15 nouveaux dollars par jour. La décoration intérieure est un peu antiquisée et a un sens historique. Le défaut est que la réception est arrivée à l'hôtel le soir de la nuit, elle a été fermée (il devrait être à 7 heures du soir), et je me suis envoyée un courrier, en fait, pas trouvée. Le gars qui a nettoyé la toilette, aidez-moi à contacter, a ouvert la boîte à laver avant de recevoir le linge.
