Hôtels près de Mont Victoria, Wellington

La ville est très bien située, pas dans une rue occupée si belle et calme. J'étais dans une maison de ville qui avait toutes les installations nécessaires. Le personnel est très bien. Le restaurant de la ville est très confortable et très confortable. La gare de bus pour l'autobus qui va à l'aéroport est aussi d'environ 200m de la route. RECOMMANDE HORS DE PLACIER !!

Stayed one night at James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor for a conference held onsite. Check-in staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel has three separate lift banks servicing different areas — if you’re unfamiliar with Wellington, definitely ask staff to explain the easiest exit route to the city. It makes a big difference. Breakfast was a very large buffet with plenty of options, though I’ve experienced better quality elsewhere. The hotel itself is older but has solid bones. Perfectly adequate for a work overnight stay. For personal travel I’d probably choose somewhere with more atmosphere, however it felt safe and comfortable. One odd feature: some rooms face an internal terrace/window area — remember to close your curtains as people can see straight in. Bed was clean and well made, the room was tidy, though the carpet is showing its age. The shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water — a highlight. Overall: reliable, practical conference accommodation rather than a destination stay.

Seriously lacking in hospitality. Asked for a latte at 5:57am and was told “ we don’t  open until 6am” No newspapers available. Bellhop service virtually nonexistent. Room service was good. Front desk agent untrained and unsupervised. No greeting upon entering the hotel or restaurant. Great mixologist at the bar.  Kudos to Andreas the only friendly person we met not really sure what his position is there but he was great, helpful and kind to two old ladies with multiple bags.  No hand soap in the bathroom and towels were not changed.  $45.00 per day valet car service seems a bit much given that there really isn’t another option. We stayed in a “superior double double “ Not sure what superior meant. One of the beds was hard up against a wall. Less than a meter between end of beds and desk/tv stand. Entertainment system did not offer any pay as you go options just a bunch of sky. No Netflix type options. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone and most certainly will not be going back!

Emplacement idéal. Personnel très accueillant et serviable. Lit très confortable et chambre impeccable. Je me suis sentie en sécurité en tant que femme voyageant seule. J'y retournerais sans hésiter.

L'accueil du personnel était excellent, mon expérience a donc été positive dès cet instant et je reviendrais avec plaisir.

Magnifique, les chinoises du leasing sont cool ya pas de problèmes outre mesure. Tout est bien qui fini bien.

房間其實沒有圖片上的大，但衞生維護很好。前台很友善，總能提供你需要的幫助。第一天就給了我一張市區圖，2天下來，用腳丈量了海邊街道和碼頭。對於乘坐機場快線AX的旅客更是友善。Manners 街和Willis街路口下，向南走一段上坡路右手邊就看到了。茶和咖啡管夠，還有巧克力。我不能再喝咖啡，衹喝巧克力，酒店還貼心地給我準備了一個大杯子。離古巴街很近，其實去哪兒都不遠。走的時候，正巧Beth下班，回家開着比亞迪，順道帶我去機場，還拐了彎，去看指環王的拍攝地。真的很友善。如果再去威靈頓，我肯定還選她們家。

Quite the experience.  I was hoping for ‘cheap and cheerful’ fairly close to town. That was the case for the room and the breakfast options surpassed my expectations.  We slept well and were happy to have somewhere to stay that didn’t cost an arm and a leg.  After checking out we had a riotous time over a drink, reading through past reviews as we are clearly not alone in noticing the ‘Fawlty Towers-esque’ demeanour of the owner/manager.  He likes to complain about guests and after a couple of chats with him we were bemused to o notice that we had inadvertently behaved incorrectly and were the subjects of gossip with new guests - while we were still in the room!  I might have grey hair but my hearing is still intact.  My impression is that he’s harmless enough, just lacking in some social etiquette.  If you remember Basil Fawlty and take it with a grain of salt, you’ll be fine.

Situé en ville, pratique pour voyager, propre, calme, pas cher, très bien.
