Hôtels près de Parc Balboa, San Diego

Convenient location and walking distance to the bay. Spacious room with luxury design. Bathroom with privacy at the back of the room. Very comfy bedding and nice staff. The coffee dispenser was empty in the lobby, will be perfect if refilled it in time.

J'ai déjà posté une évaluation car mon séjour faisait l'objet de deux réservations. J'apprécie vraiment l'hôtel pour le staff : Jennifer, Celia, Lizle et Ryan à la réception, les personnels s'occupant du nettoyage des chambres (Maria, Norma Clemente, bien d’autres aussi dont je ne connais pas les noms), les quelques personnes chargées d'aider les touristes à trouver des idées de visites... et j'en oublie certainement. Tous sont  souriants, polis, aimables et font un effort pour personnaliser le séjour lorsqu'on reste un peu plus qu'une ou deux nuits. L'hôtel est bien situé, c'est vrai. Il nécessiterait quelques rénovations car les chambres ne sont pas au top de la modernité, c'est vrai aussi ! Mais je le choisis pour cette atmosphère amicale que l'on trouve vraiment rarement dans ces hôtels internationaux. Attention aux restaurants proches de l'hôtel (il y en a plusieurs) : les tarifs sont parfois très élevés donc se procurer le menu des restaurants et ne pas se fier aux menus sur le site de l'hôtel qui doivent être anciens (je l'ai signalé à la fois à l'hôtel et aux restaurants concernés afin qu'une mise à jour soit faite : à suivre). Merci à tous pour cet agréable séjour et votre soutien constant après ma blessure accidentelle.

L'hôtel est situé dans une péninsule, devant et après le golfe, le paysage est très beau. Il y a quelques kilomètres du centre-ville, il est pratique de conduire à la course pour manger. Il y a un parking de 30 mn par jour en dessous. L'attitude de la réception est très bonne et le séjour est rapide. Les installations sont un peu vieilles et il y a un petit balcon qui peut regarder le paysage de la mer. La salle de bain est généralement propre, mais le salle de bains a trouvé un bélier.

Upon check-in, I was asked to pay for the room, which I did. However, I noticed the amount charged was higher than the total from my original booking. I asked the receptionist (I believe his name was Raul, though I’m not entirely sure) why that was. I explained the amount I had been quoted during booking. He then mentioned, almost as an afterthought, that a $150 deposit is taken at check-in. I told him this should have been communicated before processing the payment, as it’s standard practice to inform guests of such charges upfront. While I wasn’t pleased, I went ahead and paid. I also mentioned that I had submitted a request in advance for a room away from the elevator with a good view. He told me the hotel was fully booked, which confused me, since I had booked well in advance and included my request at the time. He assigned me Room 503, which was directly across from the elevator, not away from it. I didn’t want to complain as I had just traveled over 12 hours from London to San Diego and was extremely tired. I planned to grab some dinner and get straight to bed. However, the room was quite noisy—there was a lot of hallway activity, and the family next door had their TV volume quite high. I decided not to go downstairs and complain, hoping I could just fall asleep. Unfortunately, I was woken up around 3 a.m. by a crying child, and again at 5 a.m. At that point, I was extremely frustrated and went to speak to the receptionist on duty, Matthew. I explained everything to him, and he was very understanding. He said there was availability and offered to move me immediately…this was surprising, considering the earlier claim that the hotel was full. He moved me to Room 204. While it wasn’t far from the elevator either, he assured me it would be quieter since there were no large families on that floor. He was right—the room was much more peaceful, and I appreciated his help. At checkout, I saw the same receptionist who had checked me in and decided not to approach him. Instead, I spoke to Antonio at the other desk. I asked about the deposit, and he informed me it would take 2–3 business days to be released. Naturally, I wasn’t thrilled to hear this, especially after the earlier issues, so I shared my entire experience with him. He apologized sincerely and mentioned the initial receptionist may need additional training, which they would look into. Overall, the stay was decent for a short 3-night visit, but the start could have been handled much better.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days, from May 31 to June 1. I booked the hotel three weeks in advance through the “Trip” app, and I successfully paid for it within the app. (I still have the receipt, and the payment record is still in the Trip app.) On the night of May 31, when I checked in, everything went smoothly, and the check-in staff didn’t mention any issues, except that I had to pay a $150 deposit. One day later, Bank of America notified me that $330 had been withdrawn from my bank account by this hotel. I met with the hotel manager in person to ask for the reason, and the manager informed me that my previous payment had not gone through, so I had to pay that amount now. I was truly shocked, and I showed the manager the receipt of the payment I made through the Trip app, but the manager still didn’t accept it and demanded further confirmation from my bank to prove that I had paid for the hotel. Since it was during my check-out process, I didn’t have enough time to retrieve proof from my bank account to demonstrate this, so I temporarily set the issue aside to resolve later. I cannot understand why the hotel staff withdrew money from my personal bank account without my permission and, at the same time, how the Trip app and the hotel coordinated regarding the payment that was already made.

Pour un collègue, affichez la pré-autorisation. En conséquence, la carte de crédit indique la consommation. Les collègues de la réception paient également. Cela fait trois mois depuis maintenant, et je n'ai pas retourné le coût de la carte avant de revenir. Toujours en train d'étudier comment

Emplacement idéal, à proximité de toutes les autoroutes et facile d'accès. Tarifs raisonnables.

Had an issue with the tv in our room and they fixed it right away. ! Maintenance guy was awesome!

Il a été très bien séjourné ! Nous n'avons pas eu de problèmes ! La structure de stationnement est assez étroite, donc je pense que c'était le seul con.
