L'emplacement était génial car il se trouve au bas de la ville principale de Liverpool. De l'autre côté de la route, il y a quelques endroits où manger qui étaient bien, surtout le restaurant de viande. Nous sommes arrivés à 14h30 en pensant que nous aurions pu nous enregistrer plus tôt que 15h00, car cela ne dérange pas la plupart des hôtels, mais on nous a dit non et pas avant 15h00. De plus, ce qui n'indique pas, c'est le parking que vous devez payer même si l'hôtel est propriétaire du parking et a été informé que même le personnel devait payer le parking, ce qui est choquant. Il y a aussi un dépôt de 50 £ dont on n'est pas non plus informé. La chambre était belle mais je dirais qu'elle est un peu délabrée, c'était comme si un millionnaire l'avait repris, avait dépensé une fortune pour cet endroit et l'avait transmis à un membre de la famille et ils s'en fichaient. Quand nous avons parlé au personnel, ils ont pour la plupart dit la même chose, c'est juste un hôtel pour faire la fête et des événements entre filles et garçons, ce qui est vraiment dommage. Le personnel était agréable, en particulier le gars du restaurant qui m'a offert un café agréable à parler et compétent. Les équipements étaient corrects mais rien de spécial. Je dirai cependant qu'essayer de téléphoner à cet endroit est un cauchemar, ils ne répondent pas au téléphone. Je réserverais à nouveau mais pas en famille mais entre amis serait une excellente option.

J'ai réservé ceci pour un week-end entre filles. 6 d'entre nous au total. Le personnel était adorable et sympathique. La chambre était propre. L'emplacement était incroyable à 4 minutes à pied de la rue Matthew. Je recommanderais certainement et réserverais à nouveau.

The hotel itself was very untidy in the rooms mold in several places and also the staff are not very accommodating when you advise of a room issue

Hotel is in very good location ,very big with a big rooms.We stayed in the studio room 210 ,is like 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen,jacuzzi we was impressed of the size but we had a leak from the ceiling water dripping on the carpet,so we vent to reception to complain and ask for another room because it was not safe with electricity.Receptionist was not happy about as complaining she gave us another room no sorry nothing.we checked the new room and it was much smaller and no kitchen,so we had to go back and ask again for another room.So we went to new room 216 it was nice but toilet was dirty and toilet paper holder broken.Nice hotel but a bit tired

Lovely room but could do more lighting near the mirror. Good customer service. Great location

Fantastic location beautifully clean have stayed here b3fore totaly changed in respect of more of a party hotel they have got rid of a great deal of the football memorabilia more like a boutique hotel .some parts of hotel is looking tired .our room was good i would suggest a few little things I had no where to sit and put my make up on and couldn't see in bathroom mirror as had to lean over sink on my tip toes also trying to plug kettle in finding a socket that's not on the floor .Just a few little tweeks

Firstly the bad points- *The Carpark was full of old furniture from the hotel and empty beer barrier preventing you getting parked, *The hotel has turned into more of a party venue hotel rather than the beautiful hotel it was when I last came with my daughter 2018. *tap in the kitchen area in our room only let out hot water and unfortunately the room stunk of what I could only describe as a sewerage smell? Whether the drains needed maintenance I’m not sure but I I just sprayed some deodorant around to help make it not smell quite as bad because I was so tired I didnt want to have to swap rooms. *There was also no phone to call reception which I found strange and the remote for the tv was missing the back of it. I put all this bad points down to the fact that when I previously came it was owned by someone who really cared about the maintenance and reputation of the hotel but now I’ve found it’s since been sold it seems the new owner isn’t as bothered and all what the shankley represented before eg, maintenance, luxury, football themed has kind of turned more into a tacky themed hotel and doesn’t feel classy anymore. I’d probably not stay here again as it’s not the same as it was and just the whole feel of hand hotel is different. It’s not the best if you have come with kids as there’s lots of drunken guests in the hotel and it’s noisey but thank goodness it’s a large hotel as you don’t hear the noise from downstairs. We were on level 3. Our room was lovely and big with a large double bed and 2 twins pushed together, a kitchen area with tea bags and coffee (no biscuits but that didn’t bother us as we had snacks with us The upsides were- *Staff were pleasant, *breakfast was amazing with everything you could possibly as for, *hotel was mainly quiet on the 3rd floor, room was on the whole clean and had a hair dryer, iron and ironing board with a safe. * . The bathroom was lovely especially the bath as it was a jacuzzi with a waterfall shower. Everything was clean from what I could see.

Okay. Bathroom wasn’t very clean but the location was good. Staff were friendly enough. Room size was very big. For the correct occasion (big group/stag party etc) this is the perfect hotel. The bed was comfy. The pint of Moretti I ordered at the bar was overpriced and flat also. Personally I wouldn’t return but definitely serves its purpose well.

Room was ok location great however tv didn’t work in room and the blue tooth speakers too little disappointed we also ended up in a disabled access room so no bath heavily pregnant would have been great for a bath or just the things in room to work last hotel stay u too my baby arrives overall disappointing wouldn’t book again

Overall the hotel looks good but lacks basic cleanliness and amenities. Marks on the bed sheet, dirt around the bed. Hair in the bathtub on arrival and the toilet had not been cleaned. Used Suger and tea wrappers left. No phone in the room to contact reception. Staff did see to these issues swiftly, but it's not what you'd expect from a four star hotel.

Lovely room with a view but the windows could have done with a clean. Pleasant reception staff but arrogant security

Great hotel well worth it only downside have to pay £15 car park

Nice and spacious. Jacuzzi was a pleasant bonus. Very convenient for Liverpool town centre

It was very nice and I’ve enjoyed every minute of the stay. I’m looking forward to go there again.
