We had booked 2 rooms and had requested that the two rooms were near each other and as we had a newborn baby with us, we asked to be either on the ground floor or any floor in the main building as there is a lift there. We were given first floor rooms where there wasn't a lift. After a while they exchanged our rooms to the 1st floor in the main building that had a lift. When we got into our room the toilet would not flush as it seemed to be blocked. I reported this to reception as was told ”there's nothing we can do about it???” Is there no maintenance staff in this hotel? I asked for a plunger and told them I would fix it myself. The next day I once again requested a plunger as I heard nothing from reception. I was then told that they couldn't find one and that ”they were going to ask in the bar if they had a plunger” Once again, I heard nothing!! On the third day of my stay (after having to go down to the bar to use a bathroom or use my daughter's room who stayed in another room) I decided to go and buy a plunger and fix the issue myself. I have NEVER stayed in such a despicable hotel in my entire life. As I said, I have always stayed in this hotel but after this experience I'll never stay here again. I should have read all the previous reviews that have stated that the hotel has gone from bad to worse in the recent months. On 2 of the days that we stayed the breakfast came out cold and the poached eggs were basically boiled eggs. The bacon was rock hard and the black pudding tasted like someone spilt an entire container of salt on it. The bar closed as 10pm on the Friday night and 9om on the Sunday night? I was told by the staff this was due to understaffing? My daughter requested her room to be cleaned on the Sunday (requested by 10am) and when we got back that evening nothing had been cleaned (only a new sheet draped over the chair) The bins were not emptied and the new sheet didn't fit so they had to sleep on the bare mattress. As we were travelling with a newborn baby, we requested a cot when booking the hotel. After checking in we had to request 4 times at reception for the cot as it wasn't in the room. The cot finally arrived late that evening

Notre chambre était très basique mais exceptionnellement propre.. exactement ce que vous payez. Lieutenant et chaud, donc vous pourriez vous détendre et dormir très bien dans le lit confortable. Idéal pour entrer dans la ville 15 minutes à pied à la gare centrale et le parc de voiture était sécurisé

It has only just been brought to my attention that my review was not uploaded. I do not complain about my stays, there are always positive things to say about every review I write.... accept this one. Before a negative post I tried to contact the property, no answer, am actually taking my business to the complaints team. No contact information provided worked for them, x2 telephone numbers and and email address, all wouldn’t allow. We had nowhere to turn since they’d turnt off the emergency contact number. We checked in and had to continue about our work, returned and upon inspection was the WORST state we have EVER experienced. Luckily messages can’t carry smells! We have very very low standards but since having to provide extra details to prove our key worker status we are NOT happy. It was literally so awful I slept in my vehicle! There are bugs behind the fridge, hairs in the double bed... that bed hadn’t been changed, the tv is dusty (gone to pull it out from the wall and covered in dust), there is a bag of rubbish in the wardrobes as I’ve gone looking for a hair dryer and a TERRIBLE stench we found upon first arrival. After inspection on our second and final visit, it was the kettle! Went for a cup of tea, the kettle wouldn’t boil so inspected it to find thick green mould and a terrible stench coming from inside it. Looked as though someone had cooked in it (some weeks ago) and it hasn’t been cleaned. I’m sorry but I wouldnt stay in a place like this for free! Very upset as this was our ‘life saver’ ended up staying in my car! This place is NOT covid nor human safe! Again, I like businesses to have their chance to redeem themselves and support them any which way I can, but this was SHOCKING, especially during a pandemic. People were smoking in the room, ash and fag butts all over the window sills, on check in one of us mentioned the smell of smoke, the guy shrugged and apologised that the previous people had been smoking. My review was dismissed on several occasions on the booking.com website, giving me the impression that they pick and choose what reviews they upload.

avoir séjourné à plusieurs Premier Inns au cours des années, je dois dire que c'est la pire expérience que j'ai eue avec eux.Connexion a été bonne jusqu'à ce que je me soit informé que le petit déjeuner cuit n'était pas disponible.Une partie de la réservation de cet hôtel était l'option de préréservation. Un petit déjeuner cuit, c'était la première question.Mon prochain souci est que, à l'entrée dans ma chambre, il était congelé parce que la fenêtre était largement ouverte et il sentait comme si l'occupant précédent avait fumé là-bas.Il y avait aussi un bouteille bleue qui volait autour de la salle. La chambre que j'ai réussi à sortir de la fenêtre ouverte.Mon prochain souci était quand je suis allé utiliser le toilette et quand j'ai soulevé le siège,il y avait du papier toilette sale dans la boîte.J'ai malheureusement pas dormi bonne nuit parce que je ne pouvais pas se détendre et le faire. Ne pas prendre cela avec la réception, car il semblait que la dame avait assez à faire, pour être honnête et honnête, je ne crois pas que c'est sa faute.La faute est uniquement de la direction Premier Inn qui ne fournit pas suffisamment de couverture pour ces postes

I booked this hotel for someone to stay whilst visiting comic con for the weekend. I was blown away by how nice the room was for the price. We booked a quad room for myself, my husband and our two older children and we had plenty of space, room was extremely clean, and had everything we needed. Hotel check in was quick and easy, and the service was great. The bathroom was equipped with shower gels and shampoos, there were two large double beds and plenty of space around (the room was huge). A little disappointed with the breakfast, there only seemed to be bread, some milk and cereal and a microwave with a little fruit, but I can’t complain for the price. Close enough to excel (an easy 20 minute drive), and car parking close to the hotel for only £5 a day or free on weekends. There are also a couple of Lidl’s very close by to stock up on snacks. Very good place to stay, and we’ll be booking again for our next adventure to London.

Nous avons séjourné au Guesthouse pendant une semaine alors que nous travaillions au centre ExCel local. La maison d'hôtes est entourée de nombreux plats à emporter locaux et à proximité d'un parking gratuit en dehors des heures normales d'ouverture. (19h30-18h du lundi au vendredi payant gratuit le reste du temps) Le logement a sa propre entrée accessible par un porte-clés. La porte vous mène à un escalier qui se trouve au-dessus du pub. L'enregistrement pour nous parlait au responsable du bar. La chambre était d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Sachez simplement que le vendredi et le samedi soir, la musique live des pubs peut être entendue, mais j'ai adoré l'hôtel fourni des bouchons d'oreille en standard dans les chambres pour vous aider à dormir si vous n'aimez pas la musique live. Nous avons tous les deux apprécié et nous reviendrions.
