Hotel Savoia e Campana

Nice hotel. Staff amazing. Basic but clean. Close to train and bus stations. No food served. No Breakfast Maybe that changes. I believe that it was available normally. Don’t expect fluffy towels. Or coffee in room. Vending machine for hot cold drink s in lobby. All in all it was fine

A quaint and authentic Italian hotel. We stayed here to avoid the crowds and rip-off prices in Florence itself. Had never heard of Montecatini before and plucked it off the map as it had easy train link to Florence one way, and Lucca and Viareggio the other way. It is a lovely little town, but seem to have been hot by the Covid pandamic and was just coming back up. The hotel is fairly central, down a side street and is very authentic Italian. It is a little dated, but spotlessly clean and has a lot of charm - in a way it may be sad to see it updated too much. The road outside was a bit noisy late at night/early morning. However, this is not the hotel's fault - more the local council sending a lorry round early to empty bottles form the bar next door. The bar also made noise emptying the bottles after hours. I am amazed that the council allow this - they are hardly encouraging tourists by allowing their trucks to make so much noise - just come and collect later on. Mind you, Italy seems to love bloody-mindedness sometimes. The hotel had a nice bar which was unfortunately not open. If I could make a couple of suggestions, it would be to open the bar and provide a breakfast - however there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. I do accept that we were there before high season and it was probably not worth the hotel doing either. Going on the funicular to Montecatni alto is a must.

good price performance but a lot of noise on the street, very kind staff, very clean. For a 3 star hotel it met my expectations but the street was very busy at night, many young people partying which was not a hotel problem. Otherwise excellent to travel to Florence by train an extremely helpful staff.

The hotel is on a pretty little quiet street off the main central area. You can walk a few minutes one way for restaurants, cafes, shopping and the station, and the other way to the beautiful parks. I loved Montecatini and will return there and will always choose this hotel. The hotel itself is minimal and super clean. Friendly and helpful. The hotel arranged a taxi to the airport for me for which I was very grateful. I sussed out the local buses that went to Grotta Giusti Thermal Baths - a must-do visit!

This property is impeccable. Clean, beautiful and convenient to the train, great night life, shopping and restaurants. We loved staying here. The hosts are fantastic, even willing to help us learn a little conversational Italian. Thank you Luca and Giaccamo. Your place is beautiful.

Great place to stay. I really enjoyed the cosy atmosphere. The hotel is clean, the staff super nice and helpful. Also, the location was perfect, I could walk everything with easy and there are great shops and cafes around. I now traveled for work but would also enjoy going here with my partner.

Ma stiamo scherzando!!!! E gli danno anche tre stelle!!! Non ne dovrebbe avere nemmeno una, stanza antiquata con persiane decrepite, un bagno con doccia dei puffi nella quale fai fatica a muoverti, senza finestra con un aspiratore rumorosissimo, in più senza nemmeno la colazione per la modica cifra di 69 euro! Che dire per me non vale neanche 30 euro a notte!

L' hotel è situato vicino al centro di Montecatini Terme. Nelle vicinanze si trova anche la stazione comoda per spostamenti e brevi viaggi. Le camere sono molto semplici, ma pulite. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile H24.

Hotel centralissimo,vicino alla piazza principale, personale molto cordiale e gentile. Peccato per la mancanza della prima colazione, ma dicono che ritornera', però al centro ci sono ottimi bar. Ci torneremo sicuramente.
