IInvitéComfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good. The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

WWorldexplorer91Superb hotel! I’ve travelled extensively throughout China and across Asia, and the customer service here is genuinely exceptional. The staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, and always willing to help. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. A special mention goes to the two kind women at the front desk who worked tirelessly to help me secure a last-minute Huangguoshu night tour. Their patience, professionalism, and dedication truly stood out and made my trip even more memorable. This is the definition of going above and beyond. I also really appreciated the atmosphere in the hotel lobby, and the women dressed in traditional Miao attire added a beautiful cultural touch that made the experience feel even more special. My room was spotless and extremely comfortable. The bedding was excellent, but the pillows deserve their own paragraph. Honestly, the pillows were fantastic. The hotel even has an entire pillow selection display in the lobby where guests can choose the type they prefer. It’s such a thoughtful detail, and something you rarely find, even in most 5-star hotels. The air conditioning was quiet yet powerful, cooling the room perfectly to my preferred temperature. The bathroom featured a high-end Toto smart toilet, strong water pressure in the shower, and plenty of hot water. Best of all, the rooms were impressively quiet, allowing for an incredibly restful night’s sleep. The location is excellent as well. Surrounded by plenty of food options and only a couple of minutes by Didi from the Huangguoshu ticketing office. The value for money here is incredible. Having travelled extensively across Asia, I can confidently say this is one of those rare finds where the quality far exceeds the price. I would absolutely stay here again.

IInvitéLe B&B se trouve à environ 2 km de l'entrée principale du site touristique de Huangguoshu. Il est un peu difficile de s'y rendre ou de trouver de la nourriture à proximité (20 à 30 minutes à pied), mais il dispose d'une voiture de fonction que vous pouvez récupérer à tout moment, ce qui est très pratique, avec des horaires quasiment illimités et une réponse rapide. La qualité des matériaux de décoration et de construction de l'ensemble du B&B est excellente... Les détails mettent les gens à l'aise (et donnent envie de refaire leurs devoirs). Le 1er mai, la météo était particulièrement clémente. J'hésitais à fermer la porte de la terrasse tous les jours, et je l'ouvrais directement pour admirer les montagnes au loin (il y avait très peu de moustiques !). On se rend au site pittoresque le matin et on revient se reposer l'après-midi. Les personnes d'âge moyen y passent deux jours et ont beaucoup de temps et d'énergie. Au petit matin, on ouvre les rideaux pour admirer les montagnes verdoyantes et froides dans le brouillard ; le soir, assis sur la chaise longue de la terrasse, le ciel se pare de teintes chaudes au crépuscule. Confortable. Je trouve l'eau d'Anshun très bonne, douce et glissante. Le B&B est très propre dans son ensemble, tout comme le restaurant. Les traiteurs autour du site pittoresque sont délicieux. Le goût n'est pas exceptionnel. J'ai choisi de manger au B&B le dernier soir. Je n'ai pas Je me soucie de mon estomac. En fait, le goût n'est pas mauvais ! (Mais à cause du style B&B, le restaurant semble désert. Comme on peut s'y attendre, les Chinois aiment manger dans des endroits animés.) We have reservations for 3 rooms, however, at check in, we were only given room cards for 2 rooms.and upon correction, had to wait for the 3rd room key... At dinner, the beef soup noodles arrived one hour after we ordered, with almost no soup but a huge bowl of dry noodles, we had to ask for soup to be added... The beer order was missed. The Bolognese pasta tasted very weird that we ordered for kids, hope the meat was fresh. We asked to order a dessert from the menu and was told everything (all desserts, e.g. tiramisu, brownie, cheesecake etc) were sold out. We mentioned all these comments to the manager upon paying, and the manager merely said noted. And after 5 seconds when we were leaving she took out a cheesecake for us... We thought the desserts were sold out.... ? Thirdly, , we joined membership and asked the hotel reception to book our next stay with Sheraton at Guiyang, however to our horror after we left the hotel, we received an email saying 3 rooms at this huangguishu hotel is booked instead. We have already paid. Now we are still on our trip and had to call the hotel and ask them to cancel the wrong booking. Even though on the phone they said they would, (no apologies by the way), we still receive no confirmation on the cancellation of the wrong booking... So still have to use long distance call to reach this hotel again today. Forthly, the breakfast room and food choices are excellent. And most staff are hardworking. However, all hot water (the lemon water two hot water flasks) were left empty without top up despite requests. There was a staff funnily enough just hid in one of the breakfast rooms to avoid work.... Love four points design and hardware, but software really awkward experience.

SSoh Kien PengThis is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in China. It is newly opened just last year and the amenities and facilities are so modern and clean. It is relatively cheap at less than S$35/- per night and I booked it via Trip.com. Breakfast is provided. Although it is not the continental buffet, the noodles, eggs, buns, soya bean, sweet potatoes, vegetables, etc are equally nutritious and stomach filling. There is a washing machine and dryer near the lobby and the counter staff, Yang De Rong was so helpful and considerate that she hang up the laundry for us after the drying in order not to disturb our sleep. One of the staff even drove us to the entrance of Huangguoshu Waterfall even though it is only a short 10 mins walk to the attraction. During our departure, the boss of the hotel personally drove us to the coach station so that we could take the public bus to the high speed train station. The service is marvellous and I strongly recommend this hotel to visitors to Huangguoshu Waterfall. I will stay here again if I come again.

We chose the hotel based on good reviews from past guests and its proximity to the minibus station from Anshun and the shuttle bus to the waterfall park. However, we were surprised that hot water is only available from 1930 - 2230! And even when conforming to their time frame, we had to call each time to inform them that no hot water was coming. A staff member would then show up on our floor to turn on the hot water. Secondly, our room was downgraded from top floor to the lowest floor, and the reason being it was low season and they only have that one floor in operation. Last but not least, no housekeeping was performed during our 3 day stay - trash was not cleared, toilet paper and water were not replenished until we called and requested it. The hotel seemed to be functioning with very minimum staff in attendance. The front desk lady who checked us in was very efficient in replying to our numerous messages and sorting out the problem. One positive comment: basic breakfast offered was good. The soup noodle was tasty.
