Nous avons fait plus de 25 heures de vol avec un enfant à Mekong Delta. Avant cela, nous avons appelé l'hôtel par téléphone et fait réserver une chambre pour plusieurs jours. À l'arrivée, la dame a dit à la réception qu'il n'y avait que des chambres avec 30% de supplément et que notre enfant de 9 ans devait payer encore 20% du prix de la chambre ... pour quoi s'il vous plaît ? ! Pas de lit supplémentaire, pas de chambre plus grande, mais demander des suppléments lors de l'enregistrement! Elle a cru qu'elle ne nous avait jamais offerts les prix les plus bas. Nous voulions ensuite parler à la directeur générale de l'hôtel 4 étoiles prétendu. Malheureusement, c'était impossible comme nous l'a dit la réception. 10 minutes plus tard, un jeune homme s'est rencontré comme un manager et a essayé de rejoindre la situation. Dans la chambre, il a vu des champignons et des déversements de la salle de bain. Le tapis est fou, épais et odeureux. Les fours nous ont été rencontres du réfrigérateur chaud. Notre enfant voulait dans la piscine, mais il était triste et inconnu. Les meubles étaient tous aussi mauvais et dangereux pour la santé. Les images disent plus de mille mots! C'est certainement Aucune 4 étoiles d'installation, le service de personnel individuel semble être un marché basaire corrompu où l'éducation et la courtoisie ne jouent pas grand-chose. Désolé que l'on n'ait pas encore reconnu que les clients attendaient d'autres choses pour leur argent. Évitez ce trou et profitez de la région du Mekong Delta du Viêt Nam.

Gorgeous retreat along the Mekong River. We stayed in one of the garden bungalows and had such a peaceful and lovely time after our frenetic few days in Ho Chi Minh City. The hotel grounds are beautiful with wonderful landscaping of the lush, natural greenery. Breakfast is included and is taken in the open air lounge looking onto the pool and the river. The pool itself is beautiful with plenty of loungers and a good mix of sun and shade, and you can watch the Mekong River drift by as you enjoy a drink from the bar a few steps away. The staff at The Island Lodge really made the whole experience extra special - everyone was so kind and welcoming to my husband and I during our stay. Chau (the manager) was absolutely the best - she was so helpful and attentive to all of our requests, coordinating with her staff to ensure we were well taken care of the entire time. She gave us recommendations of local restaurants and some sightseeing places in My Tho, too, when we wanted to venture out, and helped arrange our transportation. The hotel is very secluded and a bit out of the way from the town and other attractions but for this kind of property I believe that is sort of the point. We chose to stay here for a few days between Ho Chi Minh and a river cruise leaving from Can Tho. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan to go to the Mekong Delta area (it’s worth a stay on its own, even if you DIDN’T already plan on coming to the area)! ❤️
