Excellent hotel, well-located on beautiful and family-friendly Ornos Beach. We stayed for 4 nights end of August with our two teenagers. We had a Friends and Family Suite with plenty of space for all of us. Great mattresses, good pillows. TV is imbedded in a large wall mirror, nice technology, but can be challenging to see if there is glare. Some English-speaking channels, mostly European. (You shouldn't be watching TV anyway! :)) We met other families, but also many couples who opted for relaxation on the quiet end of the beach. Very popular with Europeans taking their holidays. Many more English-speaking people staying on Platis Gialos. The area offers many little restaurants and beachfront chairs/umbrellas with varying pricing. As a guest, you do not pay anything extra - BONUS! FOOD Pasaji is the hotel's main restaurant, very nice breakfast with made-to-order omelets and eggs and many more options including sugar-free cookies, etc. 5/5. Lunch menu in the restaurant vs. on the beach vary slightly, but a nice selection. Food 4/5. STAFF All the staff are very friendly and make everyone feel welcome, including front desk staff, boutique staff, cleaning and restaurant staff. We did not need to interact with many people; lovely Falak on the beach took great care of us. Getting front row beach chairs was never an issue. AMENITIES Beautiful on-site gym with views of the beach and pool - my son and husband took advantage of this during our stay. The beachfront and poolside chairs are such a bonus - no extras to pay! Every set of two chairs gets a 1L bottle of water in an ice bucket each day, you pay for additional bottles as desired. Lunch menu from Pasaji is quite nice with a variety of offerings. Fresh complimentary watermelon brought to each couple every day - such a treat. In room amenities are Acqua di Parma Colonia, excellent water pressure. Full length mirror and nice outdoor patio. Fireworks display randomly seen from our room. Rooms were quiet when the doors were closed properly - nice to have windows to open to get fresh air when you wanted it. Negatives * Shower drains don't drain right - noticed this at all hotels in Santorini and Mykonos * No toilet paper in the toilets, as expected * Taxi and private transfer prices are high - just be prepared * Because the depth of the water on Ornos is a bit deeper, you will find quite a few yachts anchored, it did not impact our holiday, but should be noted, the bay is dotted with small boats and yachts * Water beach temp is slightly cooler and less turquoise compared to Platis Gialos, but overall we would stay here again anyway if we had the choice. * Hair dryers in the room are not great. If you need salon services, a stunning salon just outside the hotel is available to get gorgeous * Scrub treatment at the spa was just OK. Neglected to do my entire body, perhaps because I am not European, but that was a bit of a let down. Perhaps other services were better. 3/5 Tips * Take the bus into Chora

Hotel nice avec des chambres lumineuses et confortables . très propres avec des services à temps plein . Le personnel a été très bien placé , très proche de deux plages , la gare de bus et les supermarchés ou restaurants . Le petit déjeuner buffet de qualité moyenne servant dans une zone ouverte agréable, mais il a de l' espace pour améliorer dans cet hôtel . La piscine est très petite avec des lits solaires 3-4 , mais il n' est pas beaucoup parce que les gens préfèrent rester sur la plage plutôt qu' elle . Nous avons eu un problème avec notre chambre et ils étaient prêts à le résoudre quand nous l' avions mentionné . Le port était organisé pour nous , mais il est préférable de clarifier le prix régulier de l' île à l' avance , qui est plus cher que le prix offert par l' hôtel . Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et nous avons fortement recommandé cet hôtel .

Le port était organisé pour nous , mais il est préférable de clarifier le prix régulier de l' île à l' avance , qui est plus cher que le prix offert par l' hôtel . Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et nous avons fortement recommandé cet hôtel .

WOW, what can I say we arrived a bit late and never having been there before we didn't know what the area was like. When we arrived at reception Antonia was so friendly and helpful. She even offered to take my suitcase up the steps to my apartment, but being a typical man, I said I was OK... only to trip and nearly fall down the steps oops. Area and complex is lovely. Supermarket literally 2 mins walk away. Beach, maybe ooh 5 mins away at a very slow pace.. watch out for the traffic. Only small drawback if you've booked a ferry trip to say Delos you need to book a taxi or transfer which Antonia will do for you. The earliest bus is 07.25 and the next is 09.40. Would I stay again definitely Yes.

Very good location but we didnt know the first night had a beach party right next to us so we couldnt sleep due to the loud music. And they gave us free upgrade to beach view. Other than that the hotel is perfect, it is on the beach and have great restaurants!
