L'emplacement de l'hôtel est génial. C'est juste en face du château d'Egg sur la plage. Vous pouvez voir le volcan et la vue nocturne de la ville depuis le balcon. C'est très confortable de marcher et de courir sur la plage tôt le matin. pas loin pour marcher vers diverses attractions. L'hôtel a une certaine histoire et les installations et équipements sont un peu meilleurs, à recommander !

Le lieu : une très belle terrasse avec vue sur la mer. J'ai pris mon petit-déjeuner et j'avais l'impression de le faire depuis le balcon d'un bateau de croisière. La courtoisie, la gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel de la salle à manger et de la réception sont louables. J'espère revenir bientôt, j'ai vraiment apprécié. Bonne année à tous.

La décoration de la chambre est un peu vieillotte, mais la vue par la fenêtre est plutôt bonne, face à la mer. L'isolation phonique de la porte vitrée est très mauvaise, le bruit venant du rez-de-chaussée est clairement audible et l'attitude du personnel de la réception est moyenne.

Séjour bon et confortable. J'aime l'emplacement car il n'est pas si loin des endroits que nous aimerions visiter.

La vue est FOLLE ici. L'hôtel lui-même est de type ancien classique, tout comme les installations. Les équipements sont plutôt mauvais mais la propreté était bonne. Je peux tout pardonner puisque la vue est fantastique.

C'était parfait. Il y a de nombreux restaurants délicieux à proximité et vous pourrez profiter d'une vue fantastique tout en prenant un verre sur le balcon devant la piscine. Grâce à l'hôtel, mes souvenirs de Naples sont devenus plus beaux. Si j'y vais la prochaine fois, je reviendrai ＞＜

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

The location is excellent. The car parking spacious and the service satisfactory but fees 40€ per day were high. Food moderate to be improved. Staff helpful.

It was a pleasant surprise to stay in a room that was one the original ‘museum rooms’. The furniture and the flooring were well preserved in the style of 1952- which we loved . Spacious the authentic art deco feel for us who grew up in the 70s/80s. We had a sea view from the side of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent in terms of choices of food and had a beautiful view ,on looking Capri and the bay of Naples! The staff were generous with their time and payed attention to details- rare for a 4* hotel. You can walk to the historic sites along the sea in 10-15mins. There were a lot of very good restaurants, both serving excellent seafood and pizza. Be wary of the taxis, ask for the meter to be put on or get a quote before you jump in!!! Quick access to the port by car, or walkable- give yourself 25 mins, if you are thinking of going to Capri or Sorrento.

I wasn’t very fond of the runny scrambled eggs. They were in fact, very bad. But I’d stay there again. The rooms with the views are amazing

Naples is falling... the city is in serious downturn. it feels like a slum. the hotel is falling too worst breakfast (3 out of 10) -＞ bread is old and cold, yogurt is not yogurt it's just a sugar. juice is not original/natural. nothing to eat. don't trust review/feedback on the hotel just don't go to the hotel

The Hotel has the best view of the bay. of Naples. The staff is very polite, kind and helpful, especially at the front office and in the restaurant. The balcony is nice though on the small size Great Breakfast, eggs, and savoury food on top of all the usual Italian sweet pastries. Good espresso too. To be very honest, i was a tad confused and disappointed about our room location as it was not on the main Royal part of the hotel as i believed but on the additional building which used to be the Continental, nevertheless we still enjoyed the stay there and our visit to Napoli.
