Hôtels proches de The City Reliquary, New York

Nous sommes heureux d’avoir choisi cet hôtel. Mis à part un peu d’attente aux ascenseurs et les espaces communs étroits pour circuler, nos attentes ont été entièrement satisfaites. Chambre confortable et propre (nous avions choisi une avec vue sur la ville), douche en céramique, chauffage facile à régler, personnel courtois et discret, emplacement pratique. Nous sommes venus pendant le temps des Fêtes (18-19-20 décembre) donc nous avons apprécié l’arbre de Noël dans le lobby, cela donnait une ambiance chaleureuse. Je trouve que beaucoup de clients sont difficiles dans leur évaluation de l’hôtel, il ne faut pas oublier que cet hôtel coûte beaucoup moins cher que d’autres, il est sur l’île et nous y dormons bien. Je crois que c’est ça l’important au final.

Two doormen stationed at the front entrance saw us retrieving our luggage from the cab trunk, but made no attempt to help. I had checked in a day earlier and was great full that the room was made available at 12 PM . They did tell us there was no view; I was okay with that as we are in NY regularly and at this trip it was not a priority. I haven’t stayed at this hotel in a few years, but remembered the excellent butler service and lovely accommodations, and was looking forward to it. The checkin felt like something one would expect at a Highway motel. No explanation of any services, no welcome drink, no Butler introductions, nobody accompanied you to the room or directed you to the elevator. The room had the tiniest window, with a curtain without a valance (# 1406) facing a wall a few feet away. No Natural light what so ever. The leather head rest on the bed was ripped on a couple of spots. It had only one not very comfortable lounge chair in a fairly large king room. So if you are a couple, you cannot even sit together for a cup of coffee. In the past at checkin the butler would introduce themselves, offer coffee , tea etc and make sure you were satisfied with the accommodations. We had ballet tickets for a matinee, so initially decided to just go with the flow. Went for a quick lunch at the Astor, paid around $170 for 2 ceaser salads, a bloody mary and a glass of Duvel Leroy Champagne. I have no problems paying premium prices for value , but $28 for a Bloody Mary with a celery stalk garnish and stoli vodka? They claimed to have invented it , but definitely not worth the price. When we returned back from the ballet and returned to the room , it seemed really depressing. They call it an interior room , but it could easily be in a windowless basement. We requested a room change and requested to speak to a manager. We were told the manager was downstairs and would call us back. We were going to dinner, so left the front desk our cell number. The manager ever returned the call. On our return when we requested a room change, we were told that they were completely sold out. At this point we were exhausted an decided to just let it go and returned to our room for a good nights sleep. It was around 10:30 PM, and there was a continuous loud rumbling sound. When we called the front desk , we were told that the noise was from their service elevator which was being used a lot that night as 2 of their 4 passenger elevators had been broken for a couple of days. They offered to now move us to another room. So at 11 Pm we had to get dressed and pack up to move to another room. The new room (1903), had a moldy smell. Got up next morning with a back ache as the bed was not comfortable. In the morning the moldy smell seems to have gotten even worse and I did report that. I was told it was because of air conditioning! We called the butler for coffee in the morning. The French press coffee arrived with c

J’ai récemment séjourné au Tempo by Hilton à Times Square et j’ai passé un excellent séjour. Le design moderne de l’hôtel a immédiatement attiré mon attention et j’ai adoré sa proximité avec les spectacles de Broadway et les principaux sites touristiques. Ma chambre était élégante et confortable et les équipements contemporains ont rendu mon séjour très pratique. Même si Times Square peut être un peu bruyant et animé, l’emplacement central a rendu incroyablement facile l’exploration de Midtown Manhattan. Le personnel s’est distingué par son service chaleureux et attentionné, qu’il s’agisse de m’aider à trouver des restaurants locaux ou de répondre rapidement à toutes mes questions. Dans l’ensemble, je recommanderais le Tempo by Hilton à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour chic en plein cœur de l’action.

J'ai juste séjourné au Moto à Times Square pour le week-end et j'ai eu une grande expérience. Premièrement, permettez-moi de dire que je suis né et élevé à NYC (je vivrai à environ 30 milles au nord de NYC maintenant), donc je connais très bien la région NYC, et il était si heureux d'expérimenter la ville comme un ”touriste” pour le week-end. L'hôtel est situé dans une grande position près de Times Square, où l'accès aux transports publics est très facile, ainsi qu'aux restaurants et aux spectacles de Broadway. L'hôtel est très efficace et moderne. Les chambres sont confortables et très confortables. Le service est excellent, Le restaurant est très confortable et le restaurant est très confortable.

La chambre est très propre. Il y a un magasin de glaces à l'entrée de l'hôtel. Le hall est au 8ème étage, où vous pouvez prendre le petit-déjeuner. Vous devez glisser votre carte pour accéder à l'ascenseur de la chambre. Le petit-déjeuner de l'hôtel est bon, mais il est également cher. Il y a suffisamment de saumon et une variété de plats américains. En bas de l'hôtel se trouve Times Square. Il y a un supermarché cible à 5 minutes de l'hôtel, où les produits sont bon marché.

I called the front desk the day before our stay to let the hotel know that we'd be celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday and that we also requested an early check-in and room upgrade if available as included in our Bonvoy Gold Elite membership. I thought it was a big ask of the hotel manager Andrew, until we arrived at the front desk at the Edition and Vlad, who checked us in told us that we could do an early check-in to our upgraded suite and he also mentioned that the staff was aware that we were celebrating a birthday. He also said that we could enjoy a 2pm check out. The suite was spectacular! It was a corner room on the 31st floor with a super comfortable king bed, beautiful lighting design, living room area with huge TV with free access to Netflix, Pandora, HBO and more. The suite also featured a huge balcony overlooking Times Square--gorgeous, ultimate NYC views. The bathroom included a huge soaking tub that I wish we'd had time to use. Plenty of storage, fluffy robes and Le Labo products. The staff of the hotel, from the doormen to the front desk and housekeepers were all super friendly and provided excellent service. A first for us, upon check-out, once out of our room, our daughter realized that she left her NYC pickles in the room fridge. The bellman who was helping us with our bags (I am so sorry that I forgot his name but he was a real gem!) said that he would happily retrieve the pickle for her so that she would have it when we finally left the city later (we stored our gear with the bellman for the afternoon). When we got back to the hotel to get our stuff, the bellman handed us our daughter's prized pickle in an ice-packed bag! How very kind--what a sweet gesture! Staying there next time we are in the city for sure.

Même si la chambre n'est pas grande, à l'image d'un hôtel japonais, dans un centre-ville animé où le terrain est précieux, la propreté et tout sont suffisants. Mon enfant et moi avons passé un très bon séjour. On nous a fourni une bouilloire à notre arrivée pour pouvoir nous faire de l'eau chaude. L'hôtel n'est qu'à dix minutes de la station de métro ou de Times Square. Il y a un centre commercial en bas, de l'autre côté de la rue. Le restaurant est, en bref, assez pratique et à un prix raisonnable. La seule chose qu'il faut souligner est que l'eau de la piscine est très lente. Lorsque l'eau n'est pas utilisée pendant une longue période, par exemple lorsque vous revenez après une journée de jeu ou après avoir dormi toute la nuit, l'eau jaune. sortira quand l'eau sera juste ouverte... Je n'ai vraiment pas le temps d'en parler à la réception.

We always enjoy our stay here. The Executive suite is spacious and it’s great having a kitchen with full size fridge. The staff is outstanding. They are very helpful and welcoming. We really appreciate that they recognize us from prior stays.

La chambre est relativement assez grande et propre. Cependant, je n'ai vraiment pas aimé le service dans tous les aspects suivants : Réception : Il a fallu 20 minutes pour expliquer que le petit-déjeuner était inclus. J'ai montré mon e-mail et mon application où il est clairement écrit ”inclus”. Petit-déjeuner : très simple et le remplissage prend une éternité. J'ai dû dire à la serveuse de remplir le café et les autres repas qui se tenait à côté de la table et faisait défiler son téléphone portable sans saluer personne. Navette : Nous avons fait une réservation pour le bus à 12 heures et on nous a dit de sortir de l'hôtel 10 minutes avant. Le chauffeur du bus n'a pas ouvert la porte du bus et a montré ses 5 doigts pour attendre. J'ai frappé à la porte à 12 heures pour entrer mais le chauffeur était très impoli et a demandé si nous étions pressés et s'est plaint qu'il était réveillé depuis 2 heures du matin. C'était son devoir de nous emmener à l'aéroport à temps. Il s'est plaint encore et encore pendant le trajet, ce qui était incroyable. Je n'ai jamais connu un tel comportement de la part d'un chauffeur de navette. Dans l'ensemble, l'hôtel n'est pas un hôtel 4 étoiles ! Il est de 3 ou moins.
