Location is great for city shopping. Restaurant is nice and food quality is high. Stayed in a very small room without lake view. People at next building were doing gym and able to look clearly the room without too much privacy. Very noise on traffic due to proximity to the main road if you open windows for fresh air. The bathtub plug is too old and hurt my finger with loose metal chips come off. Recommend to stay only for lake view room during non-peak season. Otherwise, not very cost efficient except you get a big pocket.

Close to the train station but was quite a walk, around 10 minutes or so. Direct view of lake Lucerne. Extremely friendly staff and upgraded our rooms for free. Nothing wrong with the place, very comfortable stay. No good food around thought and the room service food was meh.

This hotel of Luzern boasts an exceptional location. It’s a convenient walk from the train station even with luggage. Getting to the area’s major attractions is easy. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. The rooms are very clean and offer nice city views. Highly recommended—great choice for your stay.

Central, Comfortable, and Classic Swiss Hospitality – Hotel Astoria LuzernI recently stayed at Hotel Astoria Luzern and came away really impressed. Location: Perfect. It’s right across from Lucerne train station and 2 minutes from the lake. Chapel Bridge, Old Town, and boat piers are all walkable in under 10 minutes. If you’re exploring central Switzerland by train, you literally can’t get more convenient.Room: We had a Superior Double and it was spacious by Swiss standards. Very clean, quiet, and the bed was excellent — slept great every night. Modern bathroom, good lighting, and blackout curtains. Nice touches like Nespresso machine and free bottled water daily.Breakfast: A real highlight. Huge buffet with Swiss cheeses, cold cuts, fresh bread, Bircher muesli, hot items, and barista coffee included. The breakfast room has views of Pilatus on clear days. Worth waking up for.Facilities: The spa/sauna area is small but well kept and perfect after a day of walking. There’s also a fitness room. We ate at the Astoria Restaurant one night — solid Swiss/international menu and great wine list.Service: Warm and professional. Front desk staff were fluent in English, gave great tips for Mt. Rigi and lake cruises, and stored our luggage after checkout. Check-in/out was fast. You can tell they’re used to international travelers but still keep it personal.Vibe: Classic 4-star European hotel with tasteful updates. Feels upscale without being stuffy. Great mix of business travelers and tourists.Minor notes: Rooms facing Pilatusstrasse can get some street noise if windows are open, but with them closed it was quiet. Parking is valet-only and pricey, which is normal for central Lucerne — better to arrive by train if you can.Overall: For location, comfort, and service, Astoria is one of the best value 4-star options in Lucerne. We used it as a base for day trips to Titlis, Rigi, and the city itself, and it was perfect. Rating: 4.5/5 Would stay again without hesitation. Highly recommend for couples and families visiting Lucerne.

L'hôtel est plein d'histoire et le déco est magnifique, un grand personnel qui sourirait à l'époque.

Hotel was located near the Lucerne station and easily accessible. Also a short walk to chapel bridge and old town. There is a dining area where you can have your meals and also provides coffee and tea 24/7. However, the television does not have any English channels and the tap water is cold. There is hot water for bathing but it doesn’t last long.

L'emplacement est génial, juste à côté de la sortie de la gare de Lucerne. Il est très pratique de se rendre à la vieille ville, aux remparts, aux églises et aux jetées. Migros Starbucks et de nombreuses possibilités de restauration Le parquet est mal insonorisé et grince bruyamment. Cette fois, on m'a donné une chambre familiale communicante, même s'il y avait une serrure électronique au milieu. Mais le rire a quand même un impact quand on parle à côté Également très proche du musée Rosengart Les œuvres de Picasso sont majoritaires et le pass est gratuit. Fortement recommandé !

La location était juste à côté de la gare, ce qui permet d'entrer et de sortir de la ville. Il peut être assez bruyant la nuit en raison du bar près, mais l'hôtel a fourni des oreilles pour aider à résoudre le problème de bruit potentiel. Il n'y a pas de climatisation dans la chambre que nous avons réservée et nous avons dû compter sur l'air extérieur, qui était encore assez froid, ce qui n'était pas une question majeure. L'ascenseur est d'un style européen typique, de sorte que les voyageurs avec de gros bagages peuvent s'en trouver désagréables lorsqu'ils prennent l'ascenseur.

Было позднее заселение, для нас оставили конверт с инструкцией и ключами, позвонив на ресепшен оказалось что менеджер говорит на 6 языках, в том числе и по русски, провел инструктаж удаленно. Отдельная благодарность менеджеру Bangin Salih за оперативную помощь с заселением и внимательное отношение к гостям. Было приятно чувствовать заботу и готовность помочь в любой ситуации. Очень порадовало качество постельного белья, а одеяло и подушки словно облако 💔 Чистота, сервис и особенно завтрак выше всех похвал 😍

Service : Assez déçue par l'une des filles aux cheveux longs, son attitude était très désagréable et elle semblait traiter les clients chinois différemment. L'enregistrement anticipé était facturé 20 CHF par personne, et si vous ne vous enregistriez pas mais vouliez juste laisser vos bagages, c'était 6 CHF pour deux valises. Bref, tout était payant… Chambre : Plutôt propre dans l'ensemble, mais pas de sèche-cheveux dans la chambre, il fallait en demander un à la réception ?! Transport : L'hôtel est juste à côté de l'arrêt de bus 4, ce qui est très pratique pour se déplacer, avec un accès direct à la gare de Lucerne.
