Convenient location. Nice breakfast. Helpful housekeepers. The only complain I have is the smell of smoke coming from other rooms. There’s no clear separation of smoking and nonsmoking rooms. Ash trays in all rooms and next to the elevator even though there are no smoking signs.

Location could be better without all the construction happening around it, but hotel was extremely new and clean. Rooms are very well sized and beds were comfortable to sleep in. Would recommend staying in again when back in town.

Taishan new world hotel is a very elegant hotel. The front door is amazing with outdoor water fountain. Inside the lobby, you will be the ceiling paintings, thinking you at Italy. And I met my special friendly “robot” that works so hard delivering food to your door.

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to both my home and my grandparents' house. However, an event called the ”All-China National Games”, specifically a volleyball tournament held in Taishan - meant that most of the players were also staying here. I understand that this arrangement was likely due to government decision-making. Nonetheless, this situation caused significant inconvenience to regular guests. For instance, delivery services (robots) were prohibited, and access to the self-service laundry was restricted. When I asked for assistance, a staff member stated, ”We don't do laundry for customers.” Only after I explained my inconvenience was caused by the national games did the manager offer to make an exception, saying, ”We will do laundry for you since you are a special case these days.” This reasoning is highly unsatisfactory. The reason I couldn't do my laundry was that I was denied access to the sixth floor, where the laundry room is located. If the hotel cannot adequately accommodate regular customers during such events, they should not accept bookings from the public.

The sound system was excellent, and the atmosphere was lively and energetic. It was a perfect place to let loose and enjoy some singing and dancing. Fish Market: Jiangmen is known for its fresh seafood, and the local fish market was a highlight of my visit. The market was bustling with activity, with a wide variety of fresh fish, shellfish, and other seafood on display. The vendors were friendly and knowledgeable, and I was able to purchase some fresh fish for a delicious meal later that day. BBQ: For dinner, I visited a popular barbecue restaurant in Jiangmen. The restaurant offered a wide selection of grilled meats, including beef, pork, and chicken, as well as a variety of side dishes. The food was delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly. Location of the hotel was very convenient to my family. A lot of restaurants and convenience stores are close by. The rooms were very clean and having a free self service laundry room was the icing on top!
