The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us moved the luggage from the drop off point to the hotel and booked a ferry service for my family. The hotel was very tastefully designed and the bed was very comfortable. The only drawback was the lack of clothes hook in the bathroom for you to hang clothes when you bath. The local breakfast set was very big in portion and tasty. The hotel is located on a little island that is linked to the main land by a small bridge. The whole shuanglang gu zhen is very busy and lots of shops to walk around.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Dali. Its location is one of its biggest advantages, as it is within walking distance of Dali Ancient Town. We could easily explore the lively streets filled with shops, restaurants, and local attractions, especially in the evenings when the area comes alive with activity. For Muslim travelers, the location is even more convenient. A Muslim street is only about 1.5 km away, making it easy to find halal restaurants, bakeries, and supermarkets. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding hospitality from the owner and staff. Before our arrival, we shared our train details with the hotel, and they arranged a complimentary pick-up from Dali Railway Station. As soon as we exited the station, someone was already waiting for us and immediately escorted us to the car, making our arrival completely hassle-free. The owner went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. On one occasion, we were unable to get a Didi ride, and the owner kindly drove us to our destination free of charge. This level of service is rare and greatly appreciated. The hotel itself is beautiful and very photogenic, with stunning views that are perfect for photos. The rooms are spacious, clean, and appear to be newly renovated. There is also a laundry and drying area on the top floor, where guests can enjoy fantastic views while doing their laundry. Our children especially loved the hotel's charming interior, friendly cat, and small fish pond. These little touches made the property feel warm and welcoming. The hotel is only three stories high, so there is no elevator, but this was not a major issue for us. The staff were always ready to assist whenever needed. Another thing we appreciated was how accommodating the hotel was. They provided almost everything we requested, including an iron, transportation arrangements, and even umbrellas when it rained during our first day. They also offer train railway station transfers at a very reasonable price. Overall, while the location, rooms, and facilities were excellent, it was the owner's kindness, generosity, and genuine care for guests that made our stay truly memorable. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dali.

The place is strategic (nearby Dali Railway Station) and the room is exactly the same as in the picture with stunning views! All the staffs were very helpful from picking us up from train station and sending us back. Water heater and bathtub work perfectly with complete amenities. They also give a lot of recommendations from literally delicious coffee places, restaurants and sightseeing places which are very useful for us non-Chinese speakers. I recommend you to stay here in Dali and also would love to come back again!!

J'ai passé quatre jours au Yunnan et séjourné dans deux hôtels. Celui-ci était vraiment exceptionnel. Comparé à l'autre hôtel, l'environnement était bien meilleur, et le propriétaire était très accueillant. Le parfum d'ambiance dans l'hôtel était très agréable. Pour moi, quand je voyage, la propreté des brosses à dents, du dentifrice, des serviettes de bain et des serviettes de toilette est primordiale, et tout était impeccable ici. La prochaine fois que je reviendrai, je séjournerai sans aucun doute à nouveau dans cet hôtel.

在大理文筆村的這家未岸酒店，也是大理的最後一晚，體驗真是超出預期，一進店管家小濤就熱情迎接，房間有着超大的落地窗，衞生打掃的很乾凈，看海的視野也很棒，酒店還有免費的旅拍體驗，真的太出片啦，必須誇下酒店的下午茶，現烤的華夫餅配上奶油特別好吃，整體的體驗非常棒，值得給一個五星好評，會推薦朋友來住，下次有機會還會下來！

We had a very great stay at Licheng Resort Hotel! The staff and boss were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making everything smooth and comfortable. The location is excellent just a short walk to Dali Ancient City, very convenient yet still peaceful. They prepared the specific room type we requested, and the room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We especially loved that the bathroom has an automatic bidet, such a great detail! Breakfast was delicious and satisfying as well. They kindly received our packages on our behalf, which was very helpful. We also had an issue with our charger adaptor, and they generously lent us theirs. On top of that, they arranged an early morning drop-off to the station for us, which we truly appreciated. Overall, a fantastic stay with warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Les avantages et les inconvénients sont évidents. Avantages : Cet hôtel incarne l’essence même d’un boutique-hôtel, offrant un service attentionné et prévenant (prise en charge et retour des vêtements, majordome très aimable et réactif), un café et un thé de qualité (le café Baoshan est vraiment excellent), et un emplacement relativement calme, à l’écart de la rue principale du centre historique, idéal pour faire du shopping et dîner. L’atmosphère y est très agréable les jours de pluie, et le thermos offert en cadeau était une délicate attention. Inconvénients : La circulation est extrêmement dense et les installations sont vétustes. Dans l’ensemble, le rapport qualité-prix est bon ; espérons qu’une rénovation soit possible.

C'est correct, l'emplacement est plutôt pratique. Nous, les filles, ne voulions pas séjourner dans un endroit isolé comme Caicun, alors nous avons choisi un endroit près de la vieille ville. Le petit-déjeuner était fraîchement préparé par la tante. Je suppose qu'elle craignait que les étrangers ne puissent pas manger le chou mariné, alors elle l'a laissé là pour que nous puissions en rajouter ! C'était délicieux ! Du thé au lait et du thé ont été livrés le soir, et il y avait aussi des souvenirs à notre départ. Il devait y avoir des caméras de surveillance à notre arrivée. Juste au moment de monter les escaliers, la réceptionniste est venue nous aider à porter nos valises. ᖰ⌯'▾'⌯ᖳMon amie est un peu exigeante avec le lit et ne supporte pas de dormir sur quelque chose de trop mou, comme une personne âgée. 👀 Elle a demandé au propriétaire de le rendre plus ferme, et à notre retour ce soir-là, c'était déjà fait. La chambre était également grande et propre. La chambre était relativement neuve et bien équipée, et le personnel de service nous a offert juste ce qu'il fallait d'hospitalité.

La chambre était au premier étage, mais il n'y avait pas beaucoup de moustiques. L'hôtel dispose d'un parking privé, mais il y avait beaucoup de mouches. Comme nous voyagions avec un enfant, nous n'avions pas beaucoup planifié notre séjour ; nous allions simplement où bon nous semblait. Le majordome était très serviable et a répondu à toutes nos questions, nous aidant même avec nos bagages sur un tricycle. Les lumières extérieures étaient trop fortes la nuit, mais lorsque nous avons contacté le majordome, il a gentiment réglé le problème. La vue depuis la fenêtre était magnifique et l'agence de location de voitures était à seulement 3-5 minutes à pied, ce qui était très pratique. Le lac Erhai était magnifique, le service excellent et l'environnement très agréable. 😌

A 10 star experience From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the two Mo sisters and their adorable feline companions, Pirate (the black cat) and Sweet Tooth (the brown one). Everything about this stay—from the location and decor to the impeccable cleanliness and service—deserves 10 stars. The Mo sisters are incredibly friendly, chatty, and helpful, making the entire place feel like a beautifully maintained, quaint home. A few highlights: Thoughtful Details: The beds come equipped with heating pads for colder nights, which was such a nice touch. Amenities: I absolutely loved the peaceful courtyard and the rooftop area. Service: They are very attentive; for instance, if you need brighter reading lights, you just have to ask. The Atmosphere: The garden is lovingly cared for and adds so much to the vibe. Even as a dedicated dog lover, I have to admit that Pirate and Sweet Tooth completely won me over. If you are looking for a stay with character and heart, this is it!
