Everything here is honestly, rlly rlly satisfying The room is well equipped with smart tech and everything even little things u need are provided🤣❤️ They rlly took care of us well and the place is clean, service is 100/100 Best part of the hotel is rlly the service, the staff are super friendly 🤍 Location wise is good too!

Bâtiment traditionnel caché dans un village Bai au pied de la montagne Cangshan, c'est un hôtel au trésor. La maison en pierre porte les traces du temps, et sa texture chaleureuse et épaisse a une histoire. Il y a une détente et une tranquillité qu'on ne trouve pas en ville, faisant oublier le temps. Les tantes et les femmes de ménage de l'hôtel sont toutes locales. Elles sont chaleureuses, amicales, attentionnées et attentionnées. On a l'impression de rentrer chez soi. La nourriture est également très délicieuse, avec des ingrédients locaux et des spécialités de Dali, et vous pourrez goûter au travail acharné de la tante. Le petit déjeuner est sain et copieux, et très agréable à manger. L'agencement du lobby est très mixte, avec de nombreuses collections du propriétaire, ce qui est très intéressant et artistique. Il y a un parking gratuit devant la porte, et c'est à plus de dix minutes du bord de mer et de la ville antique. C'est vraiment un petit refuge. Les installations et services de l'hôtel sont bien pensés, confortables et pratiques. L'environnement calme et reposant est très agréable. Le pommeau de douche est également un atout pour un voyage comme celui-ci. Les repas sont tous préparés avec soin et le petit-déjeuner est plutôt bon. L'insonorisation est un peu faible en raison de la rénovation d'un bâtiment ancien, mais cela n'a pas affecté mon séjour de manière significative. L'emplacement de l'hôtel dans la vieille ville de Dali, après la fermeture de la route, rend l'accès assez difficile. La vieille ville est pavée. L'accessibilité et les recommandations pour les attractions et restaurants à proximité pourraient être améliorées.

We stayed here from 12–15 May during our honeymoon and decided to do our Yunnan trip entirely on our own. Dali was our first destination after landing in Kunming the night before, and it turned out to be the perfect start to our journey. Since our train arrived early at around 9:00 AM, I contacted the host a few days in advance to ask if an early check-in would be possible. Not only were they happy to accommodate our request, but they also kindly offered to pick us up from the station. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by our host, Mei, who gave us a tour of the property after check-in. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The architecture is absolutely stunning, from the outside, it feels like staying in a beautiful traditional palace within the old town, while the interior is thoughtfully modernized with every comfort you could need. Our room was incredibly spacious, and we especially loved the heated bathroom floors and the bidet, which was a pleasant surprise. There is also a rooftop area where guests can enjoy a beautiful sunrise view. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. Guests are given several options, and parts of the menu change daily, which kept things interesting. What we looked forward to most every morning was the amazing yogurt served with homemade rose jam, it was honestly the best we've ever had. We mentioned how much we loved it, and at the end of our stay, Mei surprised us with a jar to take home. Such a thoughtful gesture! Every evening, the hotel served a warm dessert, introducing us to flavors that were completely new yet delicious. We were also treated to a complimentary afternoon tea. To make our honeymoon even more special, Mei and her team surprised us with a personalized cake, which was incredibly touching. The location is very convenient, with several Muslim-friendly eateries within a 10-minute walk, as well as convenience stores nearby. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the hospitality. Out of all the accommodations we stayed at during our Yunnan trip, this was by far the best. Mei went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, constantly sharing recommendations, travel tips, and local insights to help us make the most of our time in Dali. We genuinely felt cared for throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for honeymooners and newlyweds looking for a memorable and heartfelt experience. InsyaAllah, we will definitely return on our future trips to Dali.

C'était vraiment le plus bel endroit où nous ayons jamais séjourné. Nous y étions venus pour notre lune de miel et avions réservé la meilleure chambre disponible – et nous n'avons pas été déçus. La chambre était magnifiquement décorée, confortable et offrait une vue à couper le souffle. L'emplacement était très pratique, à seulement 30 minutes de l'aéroport, et la maison d'hôtes a organisé nos transferts aller-retour. On peut également facilement se rendre en voiture à la vieille ville de Dali et à la vieille ville de Shuanglang. La nourriture était excellente – le petit-déjeuner et le déjeuner étaient délicieux, et nous avons particulièrement apprécié le thé servi chaque après-midi. Si nous n'étions pas rentrés à temps, l'hôtel nous proposait gentiment de nous l'apporter en chambre plus tard. La séance photo offerte était une attention très appréciable qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus mémorable. Tout était parfait : un service chaleureux, une cuisine délicieuse et un cadre exceptionnel. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter et nous le recommandons vivement.

I had a wonderful stay at Tinghua Island Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Shuanglang. The location is excellent, situated just off the walking street of Shuanglang, making it very convenient while still feeling peaceful and private. Although the resort is not directly accessible by car, this was not an issue at all as the staff were there to help bring our luggage straight to the room. From the drop-off point, it is only a short and pleasant 5–10 minute walk. The resort itself is quaint, beautifully designed, and feels newly renovated. I really appreciated the thoughtful little amenities provided in the room — these small touches made the stay feel extra special. The room was spotless, very comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy, which made for a great night’s rest. One of the highlights of the stay was the superb view from the 270-degree view room, located right next to the lake. Waking up to such a breathtaking view was truly unforgettable. The service from the caretaker was exceptional — super helpful, friendly, and very responsive on WeChat, which made communication easy and efficient throughout the stay. Another lovely surprise was the generous afternoon tea provided. It came with a wide variety of fruits, desserts, rose tea, and yoghurt — honestly substantial enough to be a meal on its own. They also thoughtfully provided evening desserts, which was another lovely touch. An interesting of the experience was the complimentary photoshoot, complete with dresses for guests to change into. This was such a thoughtful addition and made the stay feel even more special. I’m usually someone who stays in branded hotels for the comfort and reliability, but this resort truly ticks all the boxes for me — comfort, service, location, and experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shuanglang.

Avantages : Cet hôtel incarne l’essence même d’un boutique-hôtel, offrant un service attentionné et prévenant (prise en charge et retour des vêtements, majordome très aimable et réactif), un café et un thé de qualité (le café Baoshan est vraiment excellent), et un emplacement relativement calme, à l’écart de la rue principale du centre historique, idéal pour faire du shopping et dîner. L’atmosphère y est très agréable les jours de pluie, et le thermos offert en cadeau était une délicate attention. Inconvénients : La circulation est extrêmement dense et les installations sont vétustes. Dans l’ensemble, le rapport qualité-prix est bon ; espérons qu’une rénovation soit possible.

Ouvrez la fenêtre le matin et laissez le soleil inonder la cour, vous réveillant au son des chants d'oiseaux et de la douce chaleur des rayons. Hygiène : Les toilettes et les baignoires sont désinfectées avant votre arrivée. Environnement : Le jardin sur le toit offre une vue imprenable sur le lac Erhai, dont les eaux cristallines sont d'un calme absolu. En automne, des volées de goélands à bec rouge s'y rassemblent pour hiverner, contribuant à son atmosphère unique. Service : Leur gentillesse et leur service exceptionnel nous ont réservé de merveilleuses surprises.

This hotel is honestly so photogenic, perfect for Instagram :)) There are flowers everywhere and the whole place has a very calm, chill vibe. Their service was really impressive. They contacted us one day before our stay and even arranged a driver to pick us up from Dali train station, which made everything super easy. The butlers were also very helpful, always quick to respond and attentive to anything we needed. They even gave us a free ride to our next hotel, which was such a nice extra touch. On top of that, they gifted me a cute elephant keychain for good fortune, so thoughtful and memorable. The location is great too, very convenient to get around.

Overall experience average at Dali Ocean hotel Not up to expectation for the price paid for a should be kids-friendly five star hotel in China. eg: breakfast not much choice, and also not feeling very welcome by front desk staff. When i called them through phone, they just hang up the phone without me finishing the conversation yet, this shock me. Hotel not really kids friendly. Normally what I expect from a 5 star hotel which is into kids theme hotel should be more friendly to kids like giving out some small gifts for little ones, but Dali Ocean Hotel did not have such thing. And also price paid not include visiting the oceanarium. Unexpectedly the dinner we ordered through hotel restaurant and truffle pizza (complimentary in my package) are delicious. Room view Ok, can stay for a night to experience it yourself.
