« Stayed here for 2 nights, but in two different rooms, so I got to experience both. Overall, the hotel has a great view and a generally comfortable stay. It is a bit far from most main attractions, although it is relatively close to the railway station. There is a nearby bus station (Line 6), but getting to the Ancient Town and other popular areas is still quite far, so using Didi is often the easier option. The lobby also provides tea, coffee, and water, which is a nice touch. My first room was on the 2nd floor and felt very modern and new. The bed was especially comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well-designed — I really liked this room. My second room was on the 5th floor, and there is no lift in the building, so carrying luggage up the stairs can be quite tiring. The staff kindly helped me, which I really appreciated, especially since it was quite a lot of effort. This room had a nice view, but it felt a bit older compared to the first one, especially the bathroom. If I had to choose, I personally preferred the first room for its newer feel and comfort, but both stays were still pleasant in different ways. »

« Je recommande vivement cette maison d'hôtes ! Le personnel nous a appelés à l'avance pour nous indiquer l'adresse, une attention très appréciable. On y accède par une charmante ruelle. La maison d'hôtes est située au bord du lac Erhai, et les bougainvilliers de la cour sont magnifiques. L'atmosphère y est très agréable, et il y a même un adorable chaton bien élevé ! « Mon voyage d'une semaine est terminé ! Je viens de me souvenir que je devais laisser un avis. Commençons par l'emplacement de cet hôtel. Beaucoup d'hôtels dans la vieille ville nécessitent de traîner vos bagages sur un long chemin pavé, mais celui-ci est accessible en taxi directement devant l'entrée, ce qui est super pratique. L'hôtel est calme tout en étant central, très paisible la nuit pour se reposer. Si vous voulez profiter de l'animation de la vieille ville, il suffit de marcher quelques pas. Les équipements de la chambre sont très complets. Les enfants ont adoré regarder des dessins animés avec le projecteur et discuter avec Xiaodu. Les articles de toilette ne sont pas des « produits bon marché » en grand format, mais de petites bouteilles emballées individuellement. Le lit était très propre et soigné, sans aucune odeur, et j'ai très bien dormi. Ah oui, la demoiselle de la réception nous a même offert une petite assiette de fruits coupés lors de notre enregistrement. La lumière du soleil qui entrait dans la chambre était très agréable. Si nous n'avions pas été si pressés par le temps, nous aurions prolongé notre séjour de deux nuits supplémentaires. Ce sera pour la prochaine fois ! 😄 »

After a full day of sightseeing on foot, I slept like a log — and a relaxing warm soak beforehand made it even better. . Upon arrival, afternoon tea and snacks were served, which was such a lovely way to unwind after the journey. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful in every way. . Breakfast includes noodle soup and congee, along with fruit, hot dogs, and yogurt. . The hotel also offers airport and train station transfers, which is very convenient. . The location is not far from attractions such as Santorini and other nearby sights. . For getting around Erhai Lake, renting a car to explore at your own pace is the most efficient option. If you don't have a rental, you can use Didi (ride-hailing) or take the sightseeing bus — though with the bus, you can only board and alight at designated stops. . One more tip: Didi is available around Erhai Lake until quite late at night and can drop you right at the hotel, so don't worry if you want to stay out a little longer before heading back. ---

The hotel was clean and very unique designed with flowers and koi pond, outside seating area. The main reason to book this place would be the host. She was very helpful and is there to solve any issue or concern you have. I had issue with my eSIM network and wanted to cancel and move to a new location and she happily agreed and allowed it but also provided a solution later which made me book the place again! Amazing stay with lovely host.

KKatherineliewtanWe stayed at Lishe seaview resort hotel for 2 nights. The hotel upgraded us to a two-room apartment which I did not expect! The apartment had spectacular view of Erhai in the living room and master bedroom. I had the foresight of having one free and easy day and we pretty much stayed in most of the time to soak in the view. The staff service was amazing. The team reached out to me via trip.com the day before we check in (fantastic initiative) as overseas visitors like me are not familiar with the WeChat usage. When we arrive, the staff were on standby to receive us and bring us to the apartment as we got there via our own driver. The hotel sent nightly desert (white fungus) to our apartment. One important aspect of the hotel is the delicious and wide spread of breakfast. The breaky was on the highest floor offering great views of Erhai, and the lady attendant there was polite, cheerful and has great service. When we checked, the hotel staff came to the apartment and send us to the car. They also presented a farewell bag of goodies - including rose Chinese cakes (which were super delicious!), tea and sweets. It was an awfully thoughtful gesture. I had the rose Chinese cake during breaky and loved them. So I was super happy to find them in the farewell gift. I would strongly recommend a stay here if you are in Dali. Fellow Singaporeans- you would love this place! I think even if I did not get the upgrade, I would have loved the view too. Just keep one day of doing nothing and enjoy the beautiful view and the hotel hospitality. The hotel staff were service oriented, always smiling, polite and helpful. I mean every staff we encountered, even the cleaning staff! This hotel was a great highlight of our Dali stay. I would definitely come back to stay at Lishe when next back to Dali.

I was even upgraded to a room with a view. Each time you enter or leave, you’ll be warmly greeted by the same individual, likely the manager, who also reminds guests to dress warmer if the temperature dips. Breakfast (8:30-10:30) changes daily, and they warm up milk (21:00-22:00) if you’d like some. There’s also a bar on site, though I didn’t try it this time. The room is thoughtfully furnished with a Marshall speaker (Bluetooth) and diffuser, and you can even choose the scent you prefer. The location is ideal for anyone seeking both convenience and tranquillity. It’s close to many attractions: right next to the pier and 双廊古镇, and about a 15-minute walk to the gallery and exhibition at Yang Liping’s former residence (杨丽萍太阳宫). It’s walking distance to a few popular eateries as well. You may need to walk abit if you’re going to the viral cafes further out near Muxi Dali (alternatively, you can get those buggy to transport you at a fee). It becomes peaceful in the evenings once the day-trippers leave, so you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset in calm surroundings—perfect for sipping a cup of Yunnan tea while taking in the view (see photos).
