L'hôtel est situé près du fleuve où sont les bars et restaurants. La plage est un peu loin, vous devriez aller en voiture. Il n'y a pas de parking propre, il y a près de quelques parkings payants et on peut parker sur la rue en payant aussi, nous n'avons pas coûté de trouver un parking sur la rue. L'hôtel semble avoir été récemment réformé à l'intérieur. La chambre est grande, nous étions dans un quadruple composé de deux chambres avec deux lits individuels dans chacune, dans une des chambres était la salle de bains et la télévision et dans l'autre le climatisation et l'armadiette. Les deux avec fenêtres à des patios intérieurs. Il n'y a pas de réfrigérateur. Les lits sont confortables, mais les coussins sont comme un coucher. Dans la salle de bain, il y a du gel et des gants, mais pas un sèche-cheveux. Le checkin est effectué à l'hôtel qui est devant, il est appelé made inn. Nous avons eu le petit déjeuner inclus que avec le thème coronavirus ne peut pas être buffet, sauf que le jour précédent dans la réception de l'hôtel made inn, vous donne un rôle avec les options de petit déjeuner qui existe et le jour suivant vous devez aller le chercher à la réception de l'autre. hôtel à l'heure que vous mettez. Les options sont un petit peu de salée, un autre doux, fruit, yoghurt, jus, café et un doux. Vous pouvez prendre tout et il était bon. Le personnel de réception amable et sympathique, parlent bien espagnol. Je recommanderais cet hôtel.

We spent ages choosing this Portimao guest house, but our expectations of it were not met. It's an odd concept, offering a room in an unstaffed house, that doesn't offer breakfast but also doesn't offer any catering facilities?? We booked a ”Superior Triple room with balcony & city view”. What we actually got was a clean, well-decorated double-bed room, sp****ly furnished with one chair, no table to sit at. The balcony was a tiny Juliet balcony overlooking a narrow street & the house opposite- not big enough to stand on, let alone sit on, but then, the ”city view” was actually a large canvas/photo of old Portimao city,over the bed, not a view of Portimao. Sadly, the advertised roof terrace wasn't offered to us during our stay. That might have saved the day. The house itself is a beautifully restored old Portugese house in a narrow cobbled street, which unfortunately was used as a rat-run by traffic, till the early hours.The house was very clean & well decorated, but without any creature comforts. We'd spent the previous few nights in a comfy hotel in Faro , with a marina view & delicious breakfast, so ND Prestige was a stark contrast. It would be fine for one night, but not for several. The owner met us on arrival, gave us a long run-down of their Covid protocols , then left. We let ourselves out on check-out. (The housekeeper was lovely, we crossed paths briefly a few times, as she let herself in). In short, the accommodation websites (hotels.com in this instance) need to ensure their descriptions of properties meet the reality.

L'établissement Villa Rio Guest House Suites à Portimao propose quelques chambres très très spacieuses, décorées avec beaucoup de soin et de raffinement. Les espaces communs sont aussi très agréables, lumineux. Le petit-déjeuner servi chaque matin est copieux et varié, avec beaucoup de fruits frais ! L'accueil est super plaisant et on se sent vraiment bien dans ce lieu. Seul bémol, le ménage peut être un peu amélioré, notamment pour les cheveux au sol. Les salles de bain ont besoin d'être mieux aérées pour éviter trop de moisissure, notamment au plafond. L'établissement est hyper bien situé dans Portimao, tout est à proximité.

For 2 nights and 3 days these apar**ents were taken over by Spanish university students who wanted to party like it was Ibiza. When 3 of the 7 coaches that brought them on Friday, a guest asked what was going on to be told not to worry as this was an annual event and they had so many activities booked they would not notice them around. Their activities when they returned after their days out were what you might expect from a university halls of residence and it was clear on Saturday night that the one security guard was not enough to deal with the incidents being reported. Did I want the equivalent of an Ibiza (or as they were Spanish a Benidorm or Magaluf) experience and was I told about this when I booked? No, I was not. Was I told that most of the building I was in would be used for this purpose when I booked? No I was not. Having complained both to the hotel on Saturday after one of the two sleepless nights we had, and our tour rep on Sunday ( I tried a number of times to contact them on Saturday with no reply) and anapology was forthcoming on Sunday but this does not make up for the three nights ( we were so tired on Sunday we went to bed rather than out) and two days of holiday list? No, it does not. On Sunday we were told that this large group had used their booking tool, booking in small groups and that is how they had managed to book as such a large group( that being thee case their booking tool must have gone into.meltdown! 7 coaches x 69 /5 max per room equals....). They have a policy of no hen or stag parties here. What is the difference between these and the university students partying here, in my experience none. We were having a good holiday here before this, which has put a massive damper on it. So given that one guest was told this occurrence is once a year by staff here, and irrespective of how this university booked, my advice would be to avoid booking this time of year, unless of course you like the party scene and what it brings with it.

L'appartement que nous avons eu était un lit (sens 4) pour moi et mes deux adolescents. Le restaurant est très confortable et très confortable. Il y a quelques supermarchés à 10 minutes à pied, mais bien sûr yiu doit faire du transport de votre shopping - il a dû faire plusieurs voyages. L'hôtel profiterait peut-être d'un petit magasin vendant des essences pour leurs clients. La plage est étonnante, et beaucoup de bars et restaurants là-bas pour ceux qui veulent aller un peu plus loin que l'hôtel. Il était trop chaud pour faire des heures de visite, donc peut-être je fais un mauvais service. L'hôtel était tout à fait bon, et très bon pour ma réservation très tardive. Je ne pense pas que je revisite.
