Mercure Queenstown Resort has offered very good services with great hospitality. The room given has a great view overseeing a big lake right from the middle. Livin (A name for New Zealander, I suppose) offered great hospitality for us and even treated us a VIP favour by giving an in room slipper.. thank you.. if you are lucky you can even spot a double rainbow… Superb.. love Queenstown and Mercure Resort.. Also Accor membership is usable here.. bravo..

Good location near the city center. Room is big and fit perfectly for 2 adults & 2 kids. Nice lake with mountain room. We enjoyed our stays and kids like it too!

The front desk staff were very friendly, and all staff member we met inside was warm and welcoming. They explained everything clearly before we checked in. The price was very reasonable, and they even thoughtfully arranged a sea view room for our family. The room was well-equipped, and provide very nice breakfast . We were very satisfied with our stay! High recommended .👍👍👍👍👍

Old dated hotel with horrible staff. The buffet area is heavily understaffed with 2 staff running like headless chooks. The front desk staff are grumpy with zero customer service. The management must be hostile and clueless to not see thru these things!! SHAME ON YOU! YOU AT QUEENSTOWN ARE A DISGRACE TO MERCURE BRAND!

You get what you pay for. It’s a really dated property and doesn’t deserve the Mercure tag. Needs urgent refurbishment.

Spacious Room. Made a last minute decision to stay for additonal nights at Queenstown and booked the resort on the day of stay. Easy access to the main town of queenstown. Will stay there again if visiting Queenstown.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a short trip while looking for a room with a lake view, easy access to the airport, and proximity to town. Overall, the hotel met my basic expectations, offering both comfort and convenience. Pros: - Spotless and well-maintained room. - Room with two double beds was spacious and perfect for four adults. - 24-hour reception for assistance at any time. - Convenient access to public transport, with a bus stop (Bus 1) about an 8-minute walk away. - Great dining options, including in-room dining and a restaurant with stunning views of the lake. - Unobstructed, picturesque lake views from rooms on level 4. - Courtyard with seating areas with beautiful views. - Swimming pools. Cons: - The hotel is located on an uphill slope, which might be inconvenient for some who is not driving. - No balcony to enjoy the view outdoors in room. - No microwave in the room. It offers a pleasant and comfortable stay. The beautiful lake views and great dining options make it worthwhile. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends!

This resort is very old, and bathroom conditions are very bad. Upgrading is definitely required.

Love the lake view from the room! Hotel is not close to the city centre and theres not shuttle service, however, the reception manager is very helpful in assisting to show us the transportation we could use!

Biggest issue was at reception as we checked in, this is related directly as to how they word their parking regulations, they say PARKING AVAILABLE, the guy at reception mentioned to me where is it saying paid parking available? And the way he said it was really condescending, I was trying to explain that I have travelled to so many place's and never have faced this situation, his reply was “so have I”  Just don’t get caught to this, read the fine print. Not sure if it was on the document TRIIP sent or on their site.  But it was misleading for sure.  15$ per night to park in their lot but there is on road parking as well.  The hotel overall was excellent, breakfast was so so, best was the HOT TUB.

When I was taking a shower on the first day, I found that the shower gel provided by the hotel was in an empty bottle. I left at nine o'clock the next morning and put up a sign saying that the room needed to be cleaned. As a result, when I came back at three o'clock in the afternoon, the room was still not clean. I have stayed in so many hotels, but this is the first time I have encountered such poor service in a hotel.
