This is the absolute best hotel on the pacific coast of Costa Rica! Of course I haven’t been to any others…but after staying at Makanda there absolutely is no need to. I know nothing else will be better than my accommodations and amenities at Makanda! So close to everything, and you can get every experience booked through the hotel, not to mention the transportation with them! Food is insanely good! Don’t think there’s a single bad thing on any of the menus offered. Also the caipirinhas are to die for! The private beach topped it all off! No need to go to a crowded beach with families and children, as this resort is adults only! Can’t wait to come back! If you want to see any animals, you can see them here! Monkeys of all kinds, sloths, birds, lizards, bugs, frogs, everything!

Nous avons emmené un groupe de 16 personnes plus un chauffeur et un guide ici pendant deux nuits en janvier. À notre arrivée, il n'y avait personne à la réception, mais le personnel du restaurant est intervenu pour vous aider. Il y avait un peu de confusion à propos de nos chambres, ce qui était peut-être notre incapacité à exprimer clairement nos besoins. Quoi qu'il en soit, le propriétaire était merveilleux pour ajuster nos affectations de chambre pour répondre à nos besoins. Les chambres sont petites mais répondaient entièrement à nos besoins. Le petit déjeuner était hors menu : œufs et viande ; Crêpes; ou des plats traditionnels du Costa Rica. Le restaurant propose également le déjeuner et le dîner ainsi qu'un bar complet. La nourriture était assez bonne, surtout les pizzas. Un très bon rapport qualité/prix et un personnel formidable.

Quel beau et nostalgique hôtel...Notre chambre avait notre propre piscine de bains complet avec des chaises de salon...heureuse était une 2 pour 1 accord et le personnel n'aurait pas pu être plus confortable et amiable...nous nageons et se logés à la piscine principale...souvent relaxant! Le petit déjeuner gratuit a été inclus avec notre chambre (autres petits déjeuners disponibles à un prix supplémentaire).. juste assez pour commencer notre matin avant que nous n'arrivions pour la journée ! Pre COVID Je suis sûr que le bar de piscine extérieure sera ouvert qui est toujours plus quand on se penche à la piscine!

C'est un autre hôtel situé à côté d'une route avec beaucoup de trafic et loin de sites urbanisés. Ce que nous avons pu voir, c'est un hôtel idéal pour les voyageurs d'une nuit qui vont en passant, ou pour les familles qui souhaitent quelques jours de repos sans se déplacer. Pour vous faire une idée, le trajet en taxi jusqu'au Parc national de Manuel Antonio ou à la plage est de 20 minutes +/-. L'hôtel est un 3* juste, avec une piscine où les coussins sont tombés, ce qui donne une mauvaise impression. La nettoyage est correcte et la cuisine excellente, avec un traitement très gentil des chefs. Nous sommes particulièrement reconnaissants à la receptioniste (une d'entre elles) qui s'est évanouie pour résoudre le abandon que nous a fait la Cia. du tourisme, La Sta. s'inquiète de nous contracter un transport pour ne pas perdre notre vol vers l'Espagne, un transport de 180 dollars que nous avons dû payer. En résumé, le personnel excellent, la situation .....mmmm ¡

Quel magnifique séjour ! Ce bel hôtel moderne à flanc de colline, qui réussit à se fondre élégamment dans la jungle, offre une vue incroyable sur la forêt luxuriante et le Pacifique, et donc sur un des plus beaux couchers de soleil que j'ai pu admirer. En outre, le service est parfait, professionnel et toujours aimable, aussi bien à la Conciergerie, qu'au restaurant, au spa.... Tout est pensé pour répondre à nos moindres souhaits et veiller à notre confort ( golfcart pour circuler dans le parc de l'hôtel, cooking class à la demande, navette fréquente pour se rendre à la plage....). Et pouvoir admirer un joli couple d'Aras Macao, un paresseux facétieux, des iguanes quasi domestiques, des singes écureuils, de la piscine ou du restaurant, quel luxe ! Merci donc à tous pour ce séjour inoubliable :)
