« From the moment we arrived, we were already impressed with this hotel. There were two staff members waiting to welcome us at the entrance, helping with our luggage and explaining everything clearly. Their English was excellent, and the service was honestly one of the best parts of our stay. The hotel itself is incredibly charming and cozy. The decoration feels warm and friendly, with a lovely balcony area in front filled with beautiful flowers and plants. Our room was very clean, the bed was super soft and comfortable, and we could see the mountains right from the window. The floor heating was also a big plus and made the room extra cozy at night. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the food. The yak hotpot was AMAZING. The clear soup was filled with wild mushrooms, Chinese red dates, goji berries, and spices that blended together perfectly. The dipping sauce was the real star — we asked for refills so many times because it was just that good! The matsutake mushroom fried rice was also super fragrant and generously portioned. Please don’t miss the hotel’s homemade yak milk barley yogurt. It was seriously delicious — sweet and slightly sour, topped with popping barley grains that gave such a fun texture. Their milk teas were also fantastic, especially the rose milk tea which smelled like a whole bouquet of roses, and the barley milk tea was equally good. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. They helped arrange local taxis for us to Suangqiaogou entrance and the bus station, and they always tried their best to help with everything we asked for. Everyone was so warm and caring. Overall, if I ever come back to Siguniangshan, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend everyone to spend at least one night here — this place made our trip even more special. »

« The amenities were great, bed was comfortable, high tech room and super clean. Loved the shampoo and shower gel scent. The view from our room was great too. Restaurant was open for dinner but we had our dinner near mt siguniang before checking in. Breakfast was simple and adequate. Did not expect such a beautiful place to stay after a tiring day. The staff/owner made sure we had transportation to the hotel from Mt Siguniang and also help us to book bus tickets for the next day. »

« The stay was ok. The hotel staff were not that friendly and helpful. The staff didn't greet us whenever they saw us during our 2 nights stay there. It is a small property and we were probably the only few customers there and yet it felt like we're were strangers to them. There is no elevator and we had to lug our luggage up to the 4th floor where our room was. Likewise we need to carry them down from our room when we checked out. If you need suggestion and information about getting around and what to do, don't hold hope that the staff is able give useful tips, you would have better luck checking the Internet. Breakfast was not ready by 7.30am on our first morning and the choices were limited due to low season. We had some soup noodles which was nice. The room was decently decorated. However, the toilet bowl flush was annoying and flushed by itself and splashed water out onto the floor with the ”faulty” sensor. There is no air conditioning but luckily there was floor heating. However, the heating took extremely long time to heat up. We also had to request them to activate the heater for us even though they knew we were in the room in the cold winter, really lack of sense of good customer service. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes walk from the Changpinggou visitor center. We visited in February, during the low season, 80% of the shops were closed in Changpinggou area so it felt like a dead town. We went to Shuangqiaogou for meals and it seemed livelier there. »
