Union Gables Bed & Breakfast

Fantastic 120 year old mansion with the most modern up to date improvements. Perfect location in the mansion area close to everything. What made it special was the giant cooked to order breakfast, house tour and sightseeing advice from Chad.

The fact that they wouldn't return our call regarding an early check-in, and then the unkempt state of the lawn and gardens (especially compared to the neighborhood) flavored our opinion from the start. However, the breakfast was great, the room fairly comfortable and the fireplace kept us warm and cozy. Location is its best quality and we walked most everywhere we went.

Love, love, love this Inn! We stayed here in June for my daughter's wedding and needed to plan this trip back. The Inn is beautiful and so comfortable, but the people who work here are the best. Chad feels like an old friend, giving great suggestions on what to do in and around Saratoga and making the best breakfast! What a treat it was to be back here! Can't wait to plan our next visit!

What a delightful, charming B&B. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful and Mr. & Mrs. White made sure that all of my needs were met. If ever you are in the area, I would highly recommend staying here. It was spotless! So much better than the big hotels! Enjoy your stay at this lovely building built in the early 1900's.

Took my in-laws away for a few days in Saratoga to enjoy the town and the races. Our stay at Union Gabled was among the highlights of a great excursion. He rooms are classically appointed with a Victorian feel that permeates every lovely detail. The grounds exquisite, the pool pristine, the bed rooms are spotless and beyond comfortable. The service was far beyond any experience I have had at the many B&Bs where I've stayed. Conscientious, thorough, very warm and welcoming. The stars were Sara and Chad. Right from their first greeting you know you are among friends...including our dog Reggie. Sara and Chad made the breakfast an event. The faire offered on the menu is far beyon what anyone would expect. Its preparation and taste are that of a higher end restaurant. The service is efficient while remaining familiar and warm. Sara and Chad were at the heart of of the Union Gables experience for us. The level of service and commitment is what sets this B&B a notch above others. We will be back.

Had a wonderful time with my family. We had three rooms and everyone was extremely satisfied. Chad and Sara were very attentive. They made it feel like a home away from home. The B&B is perfectly located in between downtown and the race track. Already planning next year’s visit.

To the owner of this estate... please know how very fortunate and blessed you are to have a staff that truly cares... not only for the property, the gardens, the pristine pool, the rooms the delicious breakfast but most of all their guests. My husband and I were treated like family and we would personally like to thank ... Naomi, Sara, Chad, TJ and Shiela ( along with the cleaning crew)! We cannot wait to return next year! The place was beautiful and conveniently located. Very private. Close to restaurants and other amenities. Would definitely stay again. Also included made to order breakfast. Delicious. We went for opening weekend and it was wonderful.

This is gonna be a long review have a lot to say! Let me start with saying I was in the hotel business (traveled internationally) for many years. I am extremely picky and criticize everything that is within the control of the staff/owners. So that being said..... First off : Location is KEY in this town...you can walk to the main drag (Broadway) easily from the Inn. Congress Park...shopping...eating...all easy walking. Park the vehicle and forget it if you want to stay "local". Second: The Inn is GORGOUS if you like "period" architecture and woodwork etc. SO GORGOUS and KEPT up A+++ The grand porch with amble seating and gorgeous flowers/plants was a super nice bonus. Lots of parking off street...pool super nice on a hot day. Towels provided. We used the indoor pool table at night with no problems (only suggestion is better lighting for night time in the Pool Room) The gardens A++++ Third: The room (Kate) we stayed in was perfect. Air condition (we like it cold) worked perfect. Bathroom had everything you needed (including two plush robes) Beds were comfortable and a lot of room for our things. Refrig. was great. TV and all the cable channels was nice at night.. Very very clean room and general spaces. Fourth: The hot breakfast, complementary tea and coffee was excellent. There were also menus at the check in area that you would look thru for outside food. Also lemonade, ice tea and cookies every afternoon. Last but not least...(all the above could be great but if the staff was not up to par then your trip would be crappy either way) THE STAFF: Holy cow....From Naomi who greeted us (with lemonade, ice tea and cookies). To Sara and Chad who seem to run the kitchen and generally manage the day to day - WOWWWW. If I had a business I would poach them all in the heartbeat. I cant even say enough as to how kind, attentive, knowledgeable they all were. Cared about their jobs as if they were owners and I have to say, this day and age, that is rare! NOTE to the owners of the Inn _ All your staff we encountered are KEEPERS! Can't wait to come back and feel like family again!
