22morrowsworldMy initial thought on this accommodation business is in some ways positive. If it is viewed purely as a 'hostel' with an associated coffee shop, then it definitely has attributes (and I'll come back to those later).
But if taken at face value on the basis of its tariff cost and amenities, both real and indicated, then there are several problems with it. The first is the way the premises is represented on the Trip com platform.
Photographs of the double bedroom include one of a bathroom. The attached text description and its context makes the plain implication that the room has an ensuite bathroom, which it does not. If little scrutiny is applied when reading the description, this fact will escape the readers attention. Anyone looking to make a reservation quickly can easily be misled (inadvertently?) into believing that this is a 'hotel' style room. Many hostels do offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms after all. The bathroom is communal and is inconveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are above this.
A second related criticism is the room size description - 18 m sq is quoted. The room has dimensions of 3 x 3.5 m. That is, about 10 m sq !
Although late February is still peak season in Phuket, it has to be said that the room tariff of almost $60 AUD per night is exorbitant. It may be considered acceptable for a 18 m sq hotel style room, given the circumstances, but a room of this kind at this particular locality ought to be offered at a lower price. Having said this, I concede that the reservation was made late and in haste.
Now onto the good things. The 10 m sq double bed room has old but high quality wooden furniture which serves its purpose well. The air conditioning is responsive and strong
There is a large kitchen next to the bathroom/wash basin (trough). It's equipped with a large fridge, sink, cutlery etc as well as a coffee maker ( + ground coffee). A delicious banana cake was offered to guests. Clothes can be washed and dried via a coin operated machine.
Other attributes include the woman owner/ manager who has a professional approach and an attitude very well suited to the hospitalality jndustry. The coffee shop also makes decent coffees and ham n cheese croissants.

DDawn ZhangL'emplacement est très pratique, en plein cœur de la vieille ville, à droite en sortant de l'hôtel se trouve le marché du dimanche soir.
J'ai beaucoup aimé l'ambiance, Joy à la réception était très gentille et a répondu à toutes mes questions en détail. Il y a un billard (mon préféré), un espace salon pour discuter et socialiser, c'est très sympa. On peut aussi prendre l'air sur le toit, bref, c'est un très bon endroit.

DDonドニC'était la première fois que je séjournais dans un dortoir avec terrasse. Le gérant était disponible et a effectué mon enregistrement en pleine nuit. Il m'a demandé la caution remboursable de 200 bahts et m'a donné une serviette. Il m'a également informé qu'il était interdit de porter des sandales ou des chaussures au deuxième étage afin de préserver la propreté du sol.
Voilà tout ce que vous pouvez voir.
Chambre agréable et calme, aucune nuisance sonore et respect des règles de repos.
Si vous avez un problème avec le port de sandales dans la salle de bain, alors honnêtement, un hôtel avec une chambre privée vous conviendrait mieux. Oui, la terrasse supérieure était impressionnante. J'ai rêvé de tomber 😪
Bref, ce type de dortoir n'est pas fait pour moi. Mais j'ai passé un bon moment ici, et pour 217 bahts (taxes incluses), c'était un bon rapport qualité-prix.
L'hôtel propose également le petit-déjeuner. Une agréable surprise 😁😁
On m'a aussi offert une clé en cadeau lors de mon départ. C'est certain, je récupère mes 200 bahts.

CCharltonFirstly, I'd like to say I was a complete dud because I managed to get my wallet into my bag with my underwear, and I assumed the worst. Nonetheless, I approached the staff on duty and they helped me search the room again and without panic or pressure they were exceptionally helpful.
The staff were wonderful, unfortunately there isn't much information provided for things to do and see. The rating for the cleanliness is based on two factors. One, the shower drain was a bit clogged with old hair, and the shower head mounting was loose and nearly fell off. Cleanliness in this part also just refers to the rooms needing a bit of maintenance upkeep. Although, a major problem was the AC. It is super dirty and dusty. I had to refrain myself from using it, because i know how ACs can hold germs and dust in if they are not cleaned out every 6 months. Especially, when it's in an establishment where different people are coming in and out frequently. So not using the AC I was left dripping in sweat for most of the night.
As for the room, aside from the AC, it was nice. The bed was comfortable for me. The selection of TV in case you feel like just chilling before sleeping was also nice. Netflix, YouTube, and local TV.
The accommodation is in a great location, near to the Sunday market, and near cafes and bars. There is one drawback of staying in this location, and that is the fact that the room is not soundproof and all late night activities come through into the room. Ear plugs recommended.
Overall, it was a good stay for a fair budget experience. I'd stay here again if I'm just looking for a place to lay my head down for a day or two, but long stays will be questionable until they ensure the ACs are frequently cleaned out.

IInvitéUn excellent hôtel, à deux pas de la mer et de tous les cafés. Nous y avons séjourné avec deux familles et enfants. Le personnel était poli et serviable, et l'établissement était propre et bien entretenu.
L'hôtel possède également une petite cour intérieure charmante avec une piscine, idéale pour se rafraîchir pendant les chaudes journées.
La plage est à seulement 10 minutes à pied, une promenade tranquille. Nous y sommes allés à pied avec les enfants, et personne ne s'est plaint. Nous prenions parfois un taxi, car nous préférions la plage du centre de Karon. Parfois, nous y allions à pied et prenions un taxi pour rentrer.
Il y a une petite cuisine.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et je recommande cet hôtel. Pas de bruit de pas ni de musique, juste le calme et la tranquillité.

IInvitéL'enregistrement a été rapide et facile. Malheureusement, le personnel ne m'a pas informé du départ ni des installations, ni de l'emplacement des toilettes. Le lit était confortable et le rangement pour mon petit sac était de bonne taille. Les installations étaient globalement correctes. Le gros point négatif est le Wi-Fi qui ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre.

IInvitéL'auberge est décorée avec soin et très économique pour une famille de trois personnes. Un petit-déjeuner simple et des vélos sont également inclus. C'est très pratique pour explorer Phuket Town. Je la recommande vivement. Il y a aussi un petit marché nocturne à proximité, ce qui est également très pratique. C'est le meilleur choix pour les transports en commun.

TTW2024Staff look a bit shy and quiet. Booked a Family Room with 3 beds and got room 6 on 2nd floor next to the stairs. Direct beach and restaurant are at the back of the resort. At night they and resorts nearby have dinner tables so the beach is lit and lively. Early in the morning they don’t set up yet so it’s very good to walk, run and exercise there. They’re having a renovation. Room 6 had very strong paint smell. Water faucets are usable so they don’t change yet. Hose spray for toilet is on the right and you will twist your body to hang it on the left. Coffee making table, clothes cabinet and safe box are inside the bathroom with walls to separate. Drain hole is near the wall of the toilet so when we shower, the toilet room is wet too. Wall mount shower gel and shampoo. Bring your tooth brush set as most places in Thailand don’t give. Water drains slow a bit but not clogged. Other rooms on ground floor are being renovated also. It’s a small resort in the shape of a town house and they have a small lane to walk to the beach. Next to that lane are 3 or 4 guest rooms on ground floor. If you need the best room, it’s on 2nd floor at the end and you have 2 large beds, a separate large room with microwave, table with 4 chairs at the balcony overlooking the beach. Other guests can walk to this balcony too. View is the sea and the roof of the beach front restaurant. Room 6 has a table & 2 chairs outside the room so when you smoke and eat, expect to see other guests walking pass. Tops convenience store is on the other side of the street. Many shops, restaurants and food stalls on this street.
The resort is at the end of this small beach town & next to the National Park. Walking about 30 minutes towards the park direction, we saw a tiny coral islet and we crossed the coral underwater way from main beach to that islet. Wear aqua shoes as it’s impossible to walk with bare feet. Water level is around waist line. The main beach has a strip of sand running towards that tiny islet and the other side has high sand. Very beautiful sunset. If you want to do that, go before 4pm because when it’s dark (after 6pm, mid October), there is almost no light in that zone and water starts to raise higher which means it’s more difficult to walk back from the tiny islet. The walk is short with strong waves. Water is warm.
