« Zhu Xi is an amazing host and kind hearted person. He made my 3 nights stay at the Min Er Ju Mei Su hotel memorable. This place and its cats feels like a home with a quiet and warm vibe. The hotel is at a 20mn walking distance from the bus stop to access to Huangshan. It’s easy to grab food and drinks on the way to catch the bus in the morning. Zhu gave me a bigger room at my arrival and some good tips to prepare my hikes to Huangshan. the room is simple yet clean and nice, and furnished with japanese style toilets. I’m grateful for the homemade tea and help to arrange driver pickup to bring me to the Tunxi Airport, even though I would rather advise the punctuality of a Didi over cheaper fair but lack of reliably of the driver. Definitely an hotel I would recommend and would return to if you want to stay in Tangkou to explore Huangshan and like to connect with friendly folks! »

Nous avons réservé une navette depuis l'aéroport jusqu'à l'hôtel via l'application Trip et notre chauffeur a contacté l'hôtel pour prévenir de notre arrivée afin qu'un membre du personnel puisse venir nous chercher en bord de route. Les rues autour de l'hôtel sont très agréables. Ma chambre était très spacieuse et propre. Le petit-déjeuner était très bon : nouilles et raviolis. Le deuxième jour, nous avons demandé au personnel de nous recommander un chauffeur pour nous emmener dans différents lieux incontournables et nous avons eu un chauffeur très sympathique à un prix abordable. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter. »

« Le service est bon. Une voiture vient vous chercher gratuitement à la porte sud de Huangshan. Il y a des bornes de recharge et les tramways sont sympathiques. Mais la chambre est trop petite, il n'y a pas de place pour poser la valise, la porte donne sur la salle de bain, le lavabo est au bout du lit et la bouche de climatisation fait face au lit. Le seul point lumineux de la chambre est un balcon panoramique, mais il est très proche du bâtiment d'en face, et les rideaux sont à la porte qui donne sur le balcon. De plus, les rideaux ne sont pas très efficaces pour bloquer la lumière. Pour aller sur le balcon, il faut ouvrir les rideaux, et on voit clairement le lit dans le bâtiment d'en face. C'est sans voix... Quant à l'isolation phonique, elle est presque nulle. On entend clairement non seulement le couloir, mais aussi les bruits de conversation dans la pièce d'en face (pas à côté). Le sentiment général est que les équipements nécessaires de la chambre d'hôtes sont rudimentaires et que les équipements ne valent absolument pas le prix. La réception m'a dit qu'ils m'avaient surclassé, sinon il n'y aurait pas de balcon... Les B&B dépendent vraiment de la chance. Afin d'éviter les pièges, je ferais mieux de séjourner dans des hôtels de chaîne à l'avenir. »

AAinara | 小爱The best 4 days ever! Highly recommend this hotel! We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination! On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient. I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant. Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it! The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed. The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey. There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times. The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes. A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather! The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains! He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out. We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We loved our stay at Villa Emerald Valley especially due to: + Lovely hosts: super friendly, multi generational, from the neighborhood and always keen to fulfill all our wishes even before we knew them + Bright, modern, clean and cosy rooms: Big windows, clean and modern bathroom facilities (great hot shower that is truly needed after a day in the mountain), really comfy beds, water boiler, etc. + Nice common area: game room, restaurant, tea table, small pool + Tasty food: breakfast, lunch and dinner freshly prepared, many options (also vegetarian), fresh fruits and tea, decent prices -＞ we loved their tomato&egg, bamboo, qingcai and tofu dishes + Smooth communication and great service: quick responses via WeChat, airport pick up (200¥ one way), support with ticket booking for huangshan, carrying luggage, extra fruits, etc. + Emerging into the community: as it was tea harvest time, the hosts took us to the tea mountain close by where we could help picking tea leaves + Location: huangshan is overall really touristy with a lot of group tourism and thus overall probably not the nicest place to stay for a longer time. However, the home stay, while being close to all main tourist attractions, lies very calm and right beside the mountains where locals live and work, so it does not feel touristy at all and you could easily spend several days there to explore and relax Also , the hosts can speak some English, so communication for foreigners is not a problem.

Je me considère comme un grand voyageur et je peux affirmer avec certitude que la propriétaire de ce B&B est l'une des personnes les plus aimables et les plus patientes du secteur de l'hôtellerie et du tourisme. Bien qu'elle ne parle pas beaucoup anglais, elle fera tout son possible pour vous aider et s'assurer que vous passiez un séjour confortable. Ma chambre était fumeur, mais la propriétaire a ouvert les fenêtres (c'était mi-avril, donc la température était plutôt douce), donc l'odeur ne m'a pas trop dérangé. La douche est très agréable et la pression de l'eau est bonne. Le lit et le matelas sont excellents. La propriétaire a gardé mes bagages dans son garde-meuble une nuit après mon départ afin que je puisse monter aux monts Huangshan (j'ai passé une nuit en haut de la montagne, puis je suis retournée à son B&B récupérer mes bagages et quitter la ville).
