Hôtels 3 étoiles à Cardiff

Location to public transport and local attractions was convenient. The accommodation was comfortable but it would have been better if there was a floor plan where the rooms are located as only 3 rooms were on the main floor and the others were accessible via stairs, which are narrow. Our room was outside the main house in the back. If you are travelling with lots of luggage or big, heavy suitcases, be mindful that there are no lifts. Housekeeping was a bit disappointing. Modern fittings and energy saving features were a plus.

Typical Holiday Inn Express with clean comfortable rooms, showers and varied breakfast. It is somewhat out of the way so if you are looking to have a pint or bite to eat elsewhere you need to drive. On the plus side there is a small Londis about 1 minute walk from the hotel. The carpark is shared between guests at this hotel and the Staybridge Suites meaning it is difficult to get a space unless you arrive by late afternoon. The alternative is to park on the main road and move it by 8am so not ideal. Check-in was painful as got served by rather grumpy receptionist who clearly lacks customer service skills and made me feel like I was putting her out by asking for a room (if possible) towards the very end of the corridor. Probably won't stay here again as initial check-in was painful, car park was too small and nothing close by in terms of food or drink.

I really enjoyed my stay overall. The location was fantastic—on a beautiful street—and the hotel building itself is stunning. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by a very kind Italian gentleman, which gave me a great first impression. My room, though located in a separate area, was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. Everything looked fresh and well thought out. However, I was disappointed to find visible stains on the bed sheets. While I believe they had been washed, the stains hadn’t come out and the sheets were still used, which didn’t match the high standard the rest of the hotel presented. I think they should have replaced them. Another minor inconvenience was the bathroom light, which was automatic and triggered the extractor fan. This meant that even during the night, using the bathroom caused the noisy fan to stay on for a while, which could’ve been avoided with a manual light switch, in my opinion. Despite these issues, the stay was mostly very positive, but I can’t give a full five stars because of the sheets. Hopefully this can be improved for future guests.

Last minute decision to stay over in Cardiff and this is in an ideal location and reasonable price. Staff at reception/bar couldn't have been more helpful when I struggled with the check in units! Room was fine, quiet & with everything I needed. Sunday night but restaurant was still open so had lovely meal there & breakfast the next morning always a cracker. Note their deal if you're having both by the way.

Ceci était une belle chambre! Vous n'avez pas sa propre salle de bain que je ne m'attendais pas, mais je ne pense pas que c'est moi qui lis vraiment la liste! La personne qui m'a vérifiée était belle et la chambre était chaude et bien décorée. Merci!

It is a good hotel, good size swimming pool & have both steam room and sauna, however, been twice now on weekdays and both times very busy. Mainly self check-ins which loses the personal touch I feel and not too happy charged extra for parking giving the location of the hotel. Great service in the restaurant.

Les chambres étaient magnifiques, le sol à plafond doubles, un papier de paroi opulent, des meubles de période ornée et un lit de centre-piece très confortable. Les salles de bains ont des bains de jacuzzi et des bassins de pierre magnifiques. Le matin suivant, nous avons eu un délicieux petit-déjeuner au restaurant de Culley situé à l'intérieur de la Bourse du Coal. Le personnel est très aimable et vous pouvez sortir de leur chemin pour vous assurer le meilleur séjour. Je ne peux pas attendre de retourner.

The check-in, check out process is automatic using a code. There isn't anyone around that you can reach when you need. The check-out time is 10:00 AM and if you're outside at that time you cannot re-enter to the building or your room if you were at the toilet, shower etc at 10:00. Sent e-mails through trip.com as well as to their regular e-mails address never got replies. There is no chance of leaving your bag if you'd like to discover the city, I had to carry my luggage with me all day after check-out and got soaked because of the rain together with my luggage. In my second visit, by paying a double of what I paid here I stayed at Marriott and worth every penny.

Stayed at this hotel for five days the beds was very comfortable. Rooms are very clean. Waitrose and Lidl‘s two minute walk regular buses into Cardiff. Breakfast available at the hotel. Staff are absolutely lovely and always ready to help. She’s a very friendly hotel with country walks nearby rooms have bath with a shower always hot water available me and my husband had a very comfortable pleasant stay well definitely return the hotel is more of a motel but would not hesitate recommending as you have everything you need the rooms are basic but do you have a kettle tea and coffee supplied clean towels extremely comfortable bed and the rooms are clean staff are very welcoming and friendly

Le prix était beaucoup plus abordable que les autres hôtels dans la même zone. Grand emplacement. Le moment de l'enregistrement était 3PM mais il a été affiché ici 2PM, appelé le numéro à la réception et la dame m'a toujours laissé passer tôt. La chambre était spacieuse et propre, la salle de bains aussi, mais j'ai réservé un lit double, mais il y avait 2 singles placés dans un. L'eau dans la douche était trop chaude, mais je tournai le bouton et attendais pour chacun d'eux pendant un moment, mais il ne fait que devenir plus chaud, donc finalement j'ai mis en mix l'eau froide de la faucet le jeter dans le tube.
