Hôtels proches de Miklouho-Maclay Park, Sydney

Just want to give a heads up of our experience. 1. Arrival - The traffic was banked down the road due to One of Sydney's biggest hotels only having 1 active drop off lane when arriving and one lane each way on the road. Took about 15-20 mins from where we first stopped, to getting out of the car. 2. For some reason the check in process took about 15 minutes. I don't understand why when they have all your information and credit card details in the booking, you have to go though the entire process upon check in again? 3. We arrived early at about 12.30, checked in and went for lunch to wait for our rooms to be ready. They advised our bags would be in the rooms. When we got our message and went to pick up keys and go to room, no bags. I called reception who said they would be up asap. 20 minutes later I went to reception and asked to have my bags. They couldn't give them to me but said they would be right up. After another 20 minutes I called down again, to which I was told the bags were in transit. 4. The deal we had purchased included a bottle of ”French Champagne”, only to have a bottle of prosecco delivered. When my wife enquired about this, they said they would swap it out. A few hours later my wife enquired again, only to be told they were out of champagne! (Not likely) I'm not someone who would complain but there were a couple of other minor things and while I'd normally let it go, when they ask you to pay top dollar, you expect to get top service. I should say that the rooms and pool area are excellent but we will be heading to the W for our next stay.

From the first steps in front door of hotel to reception area I felt welcome. This friendly welcoming professional attitude makes you feel like part of the hotel family quickly. My room was lovely and spacious. The bathroom was well equipped and the Dyptique products are tops. The observation lounge was comfortable and the drinks divine. Staff there is very capable. The spa pool and facilities excellent. I wanted to have the Sunday high tea and although the tearoom was full staff was able to arrange for me and my guests to enjoy it in the lounge. And it was perfect. Finally the ginger flower signature scent is relaxing and heightened my experience. I will always chose Langham first whenever I can.

Le grand miroir de la chambre est en face du lit. Pas de problème. La position est au milieu des 22 et 23 stations de Bigbus. L'atmosphère de Sydney est calme. Le niveau de l'hôtel n'est pas élevé, vous voulez voir les petites montagnes ou aller aux grandes cartes. Puis, le jour où la salle de repos près du petit déjeuner est entrée, je vois un énorme étang, qui est mort. L'assainissement de la chambre est toujours possible. L'extérieur du balcon est un chemin public, le panneau de la lumière doit être tiré à tout moment. Je ne sais pas pourquoi les lits de l'hôtel Sydney sont doux, et la maison des personnes âgées est un peu inadaptée.

Outre de me facturer 170 $ pour utiliser la télévision dans la salle de conférence, mais ensuite réduire le coût après avoir plaint les quatre saisons est toujours parfait. Le service de la clientèle est toujours très utile pour un voyage d'affaires.

I had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Il s'agit d'un examen modifié pour mettre en évidence le manque de communication qui se fait constamment sentir à l'hôtel, mais malheureusement, l'aide à la clientèle n'est pas l'un d'eux. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et le toit de la barre d'Aster était un grand endroit pour profiter d'un cocktail et voir des soirées spectaculaires. Ma femme a perdu ses lunettes à l'hôtel, les lunettes sont réceptives dans des cadres de design très distincts et étaient dans une boîte d'or brillante. Nous avons demandé au bureau au cours du contrôle de la sortie s'ils avaient été trouvés et on leur a dit qu'ils n'avaient pas été livrés mais que la réception serait vérifiée avec le bar Aster, où nous pensons qu'ils avaient été laissés mais fermés au moment du contrôle. Nous devrions être à Sydney dans 4 jours et la réceptionniste a pris toutes les détails et une description des lunettes et du cas et a dit qu'elle m'enverrait pour me donner une mise à jour. Quatre jours plus tard, quand nous sommes retournés à Sydney, nous avons vérifié à l'hôtel il n'y avait pas de note contre notre réservation et le receveur de la taxe a dit que rien ne pouvait être fait mais qu'il n'était pas en mesure de confirmer si un contrôle avait été effectué dans le bar de toit Aster. J'ai demandé de parler au directeur de la fonction et une dame irlandaise, dont je n'ai malheureusement pas eu le nom, est venue me parler. Elle était très excusée et dit que ce n'était pas la norme normale que nous devrions attendre de l'hôtel et elle a promis de parler au personnel d'Aster et qu'elle reviendrait à moi par courriel avant la fin de la journée. Malheureusement, aucune communication n'était à venir et une suite par courriel à l'hôtel reste irrépondue. Nous comprenons que la perte était notre faute, mais le manque d'intérêt du personnel et les promesses non remplies, vides de la direction nous dissuadaient certainement de rester là. Il semblerait que la direction n'ait pas intérêt à encourager la satisfaction des clients.

I first stayed at Sydney Hilton in 2006 and the quality is still of that high standard after many years. It’s always great to meet good people, I always look forward to be welcomed by reception staff. On this occasion, Alisa was exceptional. When I asked for a specific room, which was unavailable, Alisa offered a room upgrade, which came with executive lounge access. This was greatly appreciated, as the Lounge on the 36th floor is one of the highlights of staying at the Hilton. It really did make my stay much more memorable. Well done to reception staff, and Alisa particularly. Good job. Darren

La chambre était propre et confortable, le personnel était particulièrement excellent - chaque personne était incroyablement gentil et ami. Binay était vraiment mignon et aideuse et Jandro, le gestionnaire était merveilleux et avait toujours un sourire incroyablement bienvenu. Je n'attendais pas une telle bonne expérience en raison de son prix, juste au cœur de la ville, mais l'hôtel ticque toutes les boîtes.

A mon avis le meilleur hôtel. Les appartements sont spacieux et très bien agencés. L’hôtel est très bien situé dans le centre ville et proche de stations de train pour aller aux centres commerciaux. Je tiens à remercier la réception pour leur gentillesse et efficacité et principalement « sonny » la réceptionniste qui nous a aidé et rassuré car un de mes amis a du aller aux urgences en pleine nuit. Bref je ne peux que recommander cet hôtel

Quoi dire... c'est parfait, presque émouvant! - Ouvrir la fenêtre de sa chambre et voir le koala trop mignon qui fait sa sieste! - Dîner/ déjeuner avec une vue imprenable sur la baie de Sydney, et plus spécifiquement Harbour bridge et l'opéra... - avoir des visites guidées en privé du sanctuaire du zoo - Savoir que cet endroitn'a pas de but lucratif et que tout est pour la conservation des espèces, de la nature... et que nous y contribuons... - Avoir une chambre au top et une restauration avec logo Galt et Millaut.... - avoir un bus qui nous emmène directementa lasuperbe plage de Balmoral... C'est tout ça qui me fait dire: venez, sans hésiter
