This is not a respectable guest house, the host is a cheater and she acted dishonestly, we booked the superior room which is the most expensive room in the house and the booking was made two months prior to our travel date, we arrive on 31 August to Relai dell'Abazia and we were surprised by the host reaction, she told us that there is no availability in the house and took us to another resident that was cheaper than dell'Abazia (half price, and we had the chance to book it previously but unfortunately we choose the dell'Abazia because of the garden and the reviews), we told our agent about this issue but the host refused to admit the responsibility or to apologize and give a refund. This is not a trustable hotel even though certified by websites like Booking or *******.

This is a beautiful old building very close to the Basilica of San Zeno and only a 10 minute walk to the castle and the old town. The rooms are rustic and well decorated with excellent aircon. Our bathroom was large, the bed was comfortable and it was all spotlessly clean. There is a communal lounge on the upstairs floor to obtain free tea, coffee and beer (yes, beer, Moretti no less!). Breakfast was served in the garden by the wonderful Francoise and consisted of fruit salad, pastries, cheese, yogurt, freshly sliced mortadella and eggs cooked to your liking. Whilst a left turn from the front door will take you into the town centre, a left turn and across the road will take you to a quaint little bar away from the main tourist traps. We loved staying here and will most certainly stay here again next time we visit Verona.

This was one of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed in! It is in the quiet side of Verona but 10-15 minutes walking distance to all major sights. It was very easy to get from the train station. Our room was gorgeous and so cozy! It was super clean with lovely details. The breakfast was also amazing. Francoise is the best host ever. She is so kind, responsive, caring and friendly. Thank you for everything Francoise, especially for your delicious scrambled eggs and chit chat every morning:) We will be back!

We had a delightful 5 days at the Relais which is located in the San Zeno area of Verona, a 15 minute walk from the Arena. The rooms are large and well appointed and the street is vey quiet. Breakfast was served in the garden, and it was fresh and plentiful each morning. Francoise, the hostess, even cooked eggs for us. She was very helpful in suggesting things to do and places to eat. It was so nice to come down each morning and see her smiling face, she made us feel very much at home. Thank you for a great visit to a beautiful part of Italy.

After over a year of being shut out by COVID we were able to return to Italy. We met our daughter who lives in Europe. Rooms were outstanding and some of the largest b&b rooms we've ever stayed in, the bed was firm, but we slept excellent and if we could buy the mattress they used in the USA I would. Bathroom was extremely large and the location just outside the hustle of the city was great. There is an area of local restaurants very close by where all the locals eat. Francois was an amazing host, helped us with parking on the street when we arrived and was available for making recommendations. Breakfast was great as well and Francoise prepared a Gluten Free Breakfast for my daughter who is Celiac each morning. Can't wait to go back!

Ho prenotato sia telefonicamente che via mail un mese prima la camera. Ho ricevuto conferma scritta. Ho chiamato altre 3 volte in seguito perche' dalla voce ho intuito che la signora non mi sembrava tutta in bolla, infatti il giorno prima della partenza mi chiama dicendomi che la camera non c'e' piu perche l'ha data ad una signora inglese che soggiornava una notte in più rispetto a me. Signora un consiglio...vada in pensione una bella denuncia non gliela toglie nessuno

È la quarta volta che torniamo in questa confortevolissima struttura. Perché? Le camere sono comodissime, arredate con grande buon gusto e spaziose. La prima colazione in stile "Belgio" è varia, con tante ottime proposte che si possono gustare nella bella stagione anche in un giardino molto carino e curato. Pulizia ineccepibile e gentilezza della proprietaria sono altre note positive del Relais. Tra l altro la posizione è a pochi passi dal centro e, cosa ancora più gradita, i cani sono i benvenuti. Insomma se si viene a Verona questa è la location ideale.
